By far the best !
"We have stayed in many hotels and timeshares in the Disney area over the last 10 years. This is by far the best for the price. In September we stayed in the 3 bedroom Hampshire at Lighthouse key. It was roomy and well decorated. It has two master bedroom suites. Both master baths were roomy and had a separate tub and shower with the toilet privately enclosed (my preference but hard to find). The facility is new and is still working out some kinks in customer service (make sure you bring your confirmation info-our online reservation was no where to be found in their system when we arrived-fortunately we had our info with us) Keep in mind it is more like an apartment complex then hotel complex. Yet, there are nice amenities including on site exercise facility, a small theatre and a spa. The spa was small but Michele gave one of the best deep tissue massages I've ever had. She worked out all that tension built up walking all over Disney."

"Stayed here the first week in August. Booked a 2 bedroom but upon arrival, our room was not ready so they upgraded us to a 3 bedroom. The place was just emaculate. I can't say enough about how clean, elegant and quiet the villa was (glass block in the windows facing the entry way and common hallway). No major complaints. The showers do need somwhere to put a bar of soap and a bottle of shampoo. No big deal though. One bit of pool advise, be sure to invest in some water shoes for the little ones. The bottom of the pool is like sandpaper and though it didn't seem to bother me or my wife the pool floor eats up little kids toes. Other than that, the pool is great, the pool bar and deli are right there, pool towels are provided and there is plenty of seating in the sun as well as the shade. X-box games and DVD rentals are $5.00 a day so would be wise to bring your own. Of course with the theme parks and the pool who has time to play video games or watch movies. I've been coming to the Kissimmee area for years and our stay at Lighthose Key was the best by far. Right now Lighthouse Key remains one of the best kept secrets in Kissimmee but that may not last long."

"Our extended family of 10 people stayed in one of the 4 bedroom units. What a lovely place!! The decor is beautiful, the beds comfortable, the kitchen spacious and well-stocked with everything you need. We swam in the lovely pool, played in the game room and rented a DVD to watch on the large screen TV in the living room. None of us left the resort the whole weekend. The staff was pleasant and helpful and the price was fantastic. We will be returning as soon as we can!"

Best resort so far
"We stayed here for a yearly family vacation. The place was wonderful. Everyone enjoyed their rooms. The pool area was great with two pools. A smaller one that I would say a small group could use and a larger full size for everyone with zero depth entry. It was just wonderful. The bedrooms were great; we were in a three bedroom unit. Two master bedrooms and twin bedroom. The great room has a queen size sofa bed. Kitchen was fully equipped. The distance to the parks was not really a big problem for us, 192 was not that busy on this end. The road to Disney and I-4 is very easy to get to. We did spend a lot of time at the resort. A Publix is right down the road and a Wal-Mart is right around on 27. The only problems we had was not enough wash cloths and nowhere to put your soap or shower gel in the shower stall. We would stay there again, in a heartbeat."

"My family and I (which included 6 pre-teens, teens, and one twenty-four year old) stayed at Lighthouse Key Resort & Spa and found it to be a spectacular vacation experience. There was something for everyone; from the kids to my aunt, and even my 62 year old mother who is confined to a wheel-chair. We arrived late on Sunday August 5th and received excellent service from the staff on check-in and throughout our stay. The daily maid service and the nightly turn-down service for our four-bedroom condo made us feel special (totally out of the ordinary for most timeshares). The kids enjoyed the pool area and game room; and the business and fitness centers provided hours of fun when they were not visiting the area parks. The only drawbacks that I found were minor and not worth mentioning - no need to plant unnecessary seeds, you'll find your own, if any, should you visit the property. Overall, I would recommend Lighthouse to any family planing to vacation in the Orlando area - it beats all of the Westgate properties hands down; the other timeshares in the area are not even in the same stratosphere."

"We stayed at the Lighthouse Key resort the last week of June. The apartments are so beautiful and tastefully decorated! When we arrived our room was not clean & were given a different room. No big deal. We booked a 2 bdrm and loved it! The colors are gorgeous! We were in the end building (so far) and had a slight view of lake and of a big wildfire in the distance. One room has a king bed and the other has a twin bed with a pull out trundle bed underneath. Mattresses are thick and comfy. The pool was nice & nearly empty each time we used it. On the second nite our air conditioning failed ( while we were at Seaworld during the day repairmen replaced the thermostat and must have messed something up) so we were given a 3 bdrm apartment... in addition to our 2 bdrm. We kept our stuff in the 2 bdrm & moved up to the other after midnight. SO GORGEOUS and spacious! Two master bedrooms with jetted tubs in each, as well as a hall bath and room with two twin beds. We had good service from the front desk. After the room wasn't ready at check in, we received a call from the front desk shortly after arriving in the second apartment to be sure all was well. At check out there was some difficulty with the credit card company ( I wanted to pay part in cash & recieve credit back for paid amount on card) but it was on the credit card company's part - not the receptionist. Only a few buildings are completed and there are kinks to be worked out, but the accomodations are clean, big and lovely. Bring the dvds & xbox games. Washer & dryers in rooms. There is a 7-11 across the road for basics like beer & milk! On the down side...the elevators weren't air conditioned and there is no where to put a bar of soap or shampoo bottle in the shower."

Great hotel great Amenities
"This hotel is a brand new hotel and I was very pleased with the high standard of rooms for the price that we payed. The rooms give a great first impression and there was a nice balcony with patio furniture. Where our balcony was you could actually see some of the disney fireworks, it was a nice end to the evening. The pool area was very clean and there was a deli right there that also had a bar area outside, it was very nice and convenient when you want to spend a day at the pool. The reception area was very nice and the billiard room was great along with the outside seating overlooking the pool area. The only complaint I have is that the elavator wasn't air conditioned but the resort only has 5 floors so it's not like you had to be in it for very long. It wouldn't change my ming about wanting to stay there again."

"Myself, Husband and 4 year old stayed her 2 weeks July-Aug. We booked a 2 bed/2bath through Hotelopia and on arrival were given a 3bed/3bath apartment which was excellent. The room was on the ground floor and overlooked the lovely lake. It would be difficult for us to find fault - the room sizes were great, the main living area had everything you could wish for. Couple of points as our website did not give us a lot of informtion before we went:- If you have XBox games bring them as there is one in 3rd Bed. Bring your DVD's and CD's as there are several players. There is a full washing machine and dryer. There is a iron and ironing board. You get given towels/soap/dishwasher tablets/coffee/tea every day. Plenty of towels around the pool. With regards to the staff, we also found the receptionists to be slow, although pleasant. The people running the bar and deli are lovely - very helpful. This resort only opened a couple of months ago and therefore everything is immaculate but still being improved. They will be adding a sandy beach area later in the year. Only issue with HOTELOPIA is that they told us a final price and when we arrived at resort were charged an additional $7.00 per night."
