Great, Great Hotel
"We loved this hotel the moment we saw pictures of it on the Internet and I must say that the hotel exceeded our expectations. Excellent service given by great staff. I didn't want to leave but had to, you know what I mean. It is a five star hotel with six star quality, if there's anything like six star. I wish all hotels are like this one.
I highly recommend this hotel."

SUPERB STAFF,SUPERB HOTEL
"Whoever employed the staff here has done an excellent job, they are all so welcoming, friendly and helpful. The restaurants have different themes eg Italian,International,Arabic etc,we ate at the chinese one and the food was excellent. There is a large swimming pool and gym on the 8th floor and a spa is yet to be completed. The hotel has a regular shuttle bus to a private beach on The Palm.Opposite the hotel is the world's largest themed shopping mall, with areas in the style of Eygpt,Spain,China etc which is well worth a visit. We would love to go back again.."

absolutely fantastic! highly recommended
"I booked this package deal last minute and whilst there were no reviews on trip advisor at the time, I wasnt concerned because the hotels in dubai are among the best I have had the pleasure of staying in. This particular hotel tops all and is no doubt the best hotel I have eer stayed in. The rooms were spacious and clean, ALL the staff were very helpful and courteous and located opposite a fantastic shopping mall. All in all this hotel comes highly recommended from myself and the MRS and you should definately consider this place if you want to stay in luxury whilst in dubai."

"We stayed for 3 nights at a fantastic cheap rate due to the hotel not opened long. Due to this some of the restaraunts wern't opened yet. Outside & in was very grand & beautifully decorated. Room was large & spacious with a massive telly. View out of the window was none existent - looked like a building site - which most of Dubai looks! Large shopping centre across the road with food court & shop brands. Metro monorail also across the road. Pool on rooftop was lovely & quiet. Compliementary bus to beach pool on the palm jumeriah. This pool was beauitul & beach was clean. I would stay again if the price was right. Only bad point is location - it's a bit far out. No where in Dubai is close but this hotel was the last stop on the monorail."

Very Good Hotel for stay in Dubai
"IBN Battuta Gate Hotel , situated on Sheikh Zayed Road, has come into operation from October 2010 and is one of the very good properties to stay in Dubai. Though on the outskirts of the city, but well connected.
The rooms are very good and clean. I stayed there for 5 days and must say, it was a pleasant experience. The Only Gripe Service is Very Slow, weather Restaurant or Room Service. Other than this no other problem.
The food is very good and you don't miss Indian or Continental cuisine. I must say the price i paid for the stay was VFM (Vlue for Money)"

"The hotel went beyond our expectations in all respects. Service was a truly 5-star one, all the staff were professional, very attentive and always available, ready to help with a smile on their face. Kevin was lots of fun, Kevlin was also very helpful in arranging our desert safari, and Cyprus that was driving us every day to the Oceana beach club with the hotel shuttle was very reliable and always on time. As we arrived in the very early morning for check-in, we were immediately let into our room despite official check-in time was at 14.00. Our kids also loved the camel kids' club, also there the staff were professional. The hotel itself is immaculate and its design is impressive and imposing, not just one of the ordinary hotels. The Oceana beach club was excellent, with plenty of sunloungers both at the beach and at the pool and never overcrowded. The infinity pool and the 'lazy river' were impressive. Also the food choice and quality at the Marina club were outstanding and prices quite reasonable for Dubai standard. We have been at the Grosvenor House in our previous stay and the IBN was a pleasant surprise as it did not fall short in any respect as compared to the Grosvenor House. True that its location is a bit far out, but taxis are reliable and cheap and even if you stay in Jumeirah you need a taxi to get around the city, so for us it is not a minus. In a nutshell, we loved our stay and will certainly consider going back to the IBN Battuta in our next stay in Dubai."

Beautiful hotel with excellent service
"This Moevenpick hotel chain was recommended by our friend. We were thrilled with the Ibn Battuta hotel which had only been opened for a short time before our stay. Our room was well appointed, hotel amenities excellent and meals excelled in both variety and quality. The pool area and gymnasium were first class. Staff at the hotel went out of their way to be helpful, Jaunita who helped serve us at breakfast was a delight. The pastry shop was amazing
The hotel decor is tasteful and subtle, depicting the regions travelled by Ibn Battuta. Across the road is a shopping mall which is well appointed and will cater for most needs but is certainly not as "over the top" as some other Dubai malls. The hotel is a distance out from the CBD of Dubai but this can be reached by the Metro which is a short five minute walk from the hotel. There was also a free shuttle to nearby Jumeriah beach.
Given our wonderful experience at this hotel I would not hesitate to recommend it to others who don't need to be in the CBD of Dubai and want the best of everything"

A very high standard of hotel, if a little far out.
"We booked this hotel last minute and got a very good deal, we did not realise until we got there that it had only been open for three weeks. The hotel is some distance out of Dubai not far from Jebel Ali and is surrounded by petrol refineries. However it is clear from all the building work that the area is being developed. The hotel is immaculate, the staff were very attentive. When we went the hotel was still going through its soft opening. Not all the restaurants were open, but they did all look of a very good standard. The public areas of the hotel are very impressive. The rooms are finnished and furnished to a very high standard. It takes about 15 minutes by cab to get to the Jumeriah area and 35 - 40 minutes to the airport."

Well themed hotel with excellent staff
"A lot of effort has been made to come up with a hotel that isn't the usual bland hotel styling, in this case, themed around the travels of Ibn Battuta. So the various floors are themed Persia, Moroccan, China, etc. The rooms are well appointed and very new. The internal styling of the hotel is very good.
The location is fairly remote if you are looking for something more central, however the metro stop is close by. The staff are excellent and are very attentive."

Nice hotel but bad location
"This is a new hotel. So its very clean and tidy. The location is average. The view is below average. Only plus is the Ibn Battuta mall next door but its not a fantastic mall. The metro stop is 300m but it will take 45mins to get into the center city. Oceana beach club is nice. The staff were very friendly and very helpful at the hotel. For a 5 star hotel you still have to pay 99Dhs for 24hr internet in room.Good hotel if you can get a cheap deal otherwise i would recommend paying the same for a 4 star in a better location."

"We loved this hotel and are looking to come back to Dubai for two weeks this summer. The location is perfect as you get to use the immaculately clean metro, but like another 'reviewer' has said ......the price is a little steep.
The restaurants were first class, and some of the best food I have ever eaten...so if the manager would like to respond with an offer to stay in your wonderful hotel.......we'd love to discuss this with you.
Out kindest regards.....
Mrs Audrey Chandler"
