Premier Inn Birmingham South (Hall Green) hotel
10 Traveller reviews from Holiday Watchdog
"As this hotel is situated on a busy roundabout on the outskirts of Birmingham we expected some traffic noise. We didn't get any ! The room was spotlessly clean. The staff were very friendly. The beds were fantastic ( Lenny is telling the truth !!) and there was an excellent restaurant right next door on the same site. The car park had plenty of room. We really couldn't fault this place and will definitely stay again next time we are in Birmingham."

"A great welcome, but avoid at any costs the scrambeled eggs if your having the great all you can eat breakfast, the scrambeled eggs were dire............ I'll so no more. But I'm going to say there again, great value - only paid £19 - but next time I'm going to have fried egg"

Lovely premier inn
"We stayed here for two night's and having stayed at other premier inn's this one is really nice, we stayed here as we was visting Cadbury world which is only 10mins away. This hotel is only 20mins away from Birmingham town centre so would be idea. Staff was very helpful and breakfast was very nice."

Great hotel, pity about the restaurant
"Used this one as a stopover visiting friends and relations. Hotel well up to usual Premier Inn standard. Friendly and helpful staff and management. Suggest giving the attached Toby Inn a miss (except for breakfast). Carveries have to be really good to avoid the dried up joints and missing elements and this one isn't!"

"We stayed for one night as we were going to the NIA to see a show. The staff at this Premier Inn were so friendly and welcoming - in fact, they were exceptional. We had a really good night's sleep and a very good breakfast - once again with very friendly staff. We would definitely stay here again. Thank you."

"Like other reviewers we used this hotel as a stopover on the way to Manchester. It was conveniently located for the motorways but not on the motorway. It was clean with modern decor, certainly not 'basic'. There were 4 of us in the room, we had an extra rollaway bed and we still had space to move (just about). We had a cooked, premier breakfast which we thoroughly enjoyed but most of all the staff were absolutely lovely. They made it feel like a proper break (as opposed to just a stopover) and were very friendly -to the point where they gave my son a birthday card as we were leaving! I would, and will, totally recommend this hotel to others"

"My daughter and I stayed here for 3 nights last week and used it as a base for a family wedding in Birmingham. The hotel was very conveniently located 7 minutes for the M42 motorway and off the robin hood island, but tucked away in a nice quiet part. We had a family room with a double bed and a singhle bed and ensuite. There was enough room to move around but I think if myt husband has accompanied us we would have needed an extra room. The bed was comfortable and cosy and we had a tv with freeview. As this is a businees hotel it eas nice and quiet all the time. Breakfast was lovely, we had a premier breakfast( my daughter ate free as she was under 12). There was a nice selection of hot and cold food and plenty of it. The staff were nice and pleasant. I had a really lovely stay here and would recommend it to all."

"We got no sleep at all, the bed was so bad that in the end we slept on the sofa bed which wasn't much better. When we arrived the recepionist was more intrested in chatting to her friend than dealing with us. We complaind the next day and checked out early. We were promised a refund for the nights stay but 1 month on an i'm still waiting for it."

"This is a convenient, good value overnight stop about 5 miles from Birmingham city centre. It is in a residential area just outside the densely populated inner city belt. Modern hotel with free continental breakfast. The pub next door does good value carvery food. Ample car parking and quiet rooms."

"Just returned from 1 night there. Perfect location (mid way) for journeys between London and Liverpool/Manchester/North Wales (e.g. Holyhead). Booked via their website for GBP39, including buffet breakfast. Room had 1 double, 1 fold out double sofa bed, plus a cot (all requested!), yet still had plenty of room (And I mean plenty!). Staff were great. Suburban location, but the restaurant next door looked very good for dinners/a drink. Certainly the best value hotel I have ever booked in Europe. Great location for families, and with a price like that, you could not go wrong."
