"Having been recommended to stay here by a friend, I was not disappointed! On arrival I was welcomed by Martin who was friendly and informative about the facilities as well as the local attractions. The breakfast was delicious, full english just how I wanted it! My room was comfortable and spacious and the location was brilliant - right by the town and all it has to offer. Overall a perfect stay - I will be back!!!"

"The Adelphi definitely proved to be a home away from home. The room was comfortable and very tastefully decorated, as were all the rooms in the home. Plus, there was plenty of room for all the luggage. The choices in breakfast times and the food choices made it especially convenient for those who wished to get up early or for those who like to sleep in.

But what is best about the Adelphi Guest House are the hosts, Martin and Ellen, who were most friendly and willing to chat just about anything - where to eat, where to shop, what to visit, and what was happening around Stratford-Upon-Avon and the greater UK . Thanks for the English perspective and being yet another window to the world."

"The Adelphi Guest House in Stratford upon Avon is a newly renovated three-story victorian home on Grove Road., which is within walking distance of many of the interesting sights in Stratford. The interior of the home is lovely--fresh, clean and completely inviting. Breakfast may be selected from a daily menu and the food is fresh-cooked and friendly-served with the best coffee in all of England. I was reluctant to leave this charming abode with it's welcoming and accommodating proprietors, but I intend to stay with them again some day. The Adelphi Guest House was definitely the best place I lodged in a two week tour of England and I highly recommend it to travelers looking for comfort, cleanliness, and charm."

"A clean and comfortable B&B only a short walk from the shops and restaurants of Stratford-on-Avon's town center, the Adelphi offers the perfect combination of small town charm and modern convenience. Martin & Ellen, the delightful couple who host your stay, have several years of experience in the B&B business and strive to make your stay particularly pleasant. On the technical side of things, you'll have a key to both the front door and your room, the Wi-Fi connection works and breakfast is delicious (I recommend the French toast)."

"We have just returned from a fabulous weekend stay at the Adelphi Guest House. A beautifully decorated, clean and comfortable B&B in a prime location only 5 mins walk into the town centre of Shakepeare's birth place. The owners Ellen and Martin gave us a very warm welcome and could not be more helpful. The breakfast menu catered for so many different tastes and everything was cooked to order.. If looking for a home from home then this is the place to stay . Excellent value too.

Thanks again Ellen & Martin for your hospitality. We will be back.

Kind regards,

The Scottish Families"

"I stay in a lot of hotels because of my job but when I stayed at the Adelphi, I knew I had found a home from home. The owners, Martin & Ellen are fabulous, really friendly and happy to suggest restaurants, bars, sight seeing spots etc. The Adelphi is beautifully appointed and the large rooms very comfortable. I've had a wonderful break and can't wait to go back. Christine Parker, Bournemouth"
