The only + The sheets & towles appeared clean

Reviewed 6th November 2012

"There are a number of demerit points that we noted that in my mind should have been resolved, repaired, replaced before any customer needed to comment.. It may be worth looking on the internet to view comments that customers have made previously i.e.. http://www.tripadvisor.co.uk/Hotel_Review-g1653506-d569675-Reviews-The_Bridge_Inn-Yatton_Somerset_England.html as we had similar treatment..... 1.. Our room only had two cursory service / clean during the FIVE nights that we stayed.. We had to request re-supply of used soap & toilet paper.. Is this the norm.. 2... The Shower head over the bath was in a filthy disgusting condition…see photo 3... Mould around bath 4.… Mould marked shower certain.. 5... Shower rail rusty.. 6... Bathroom door delaminating {scruffy looking } 7... Trouser press broken and unusable.."

Give this one a miss or bring your own soap!

Reviewed 6th November 2012

"My friends and I have just returned from an overnight stay at this hotel after attending a wedding at Cadbury County Club. If you come here, expect to bring your own soap! Although there was an iron/trouser in the room, the Bridge Inn need to concentrate on providing the basics, e.g. soap, glasses in the bathroom, teaspoons and tea and coffee in individual sachets, not unwrapped teabags that are stale! The shower looked as if it could do with a major clean/descaling. The plus side was that the bed was comfortable and the towels were clean - but what about soap? We asked the reception for soap and apparently "they had ran out!". It appeared at breakfast that the majority of the guests were also without soap! The breakfast was shabby, unwiped tables ,gone off milk. insufficient hot water, used tea bags and coffee wrappers piled onto a plate, uncooked bacon, cheap sausages ... the list goes on."

In need of some updating

Reviewed 23rd October 2012

"Everything about this hotel made me think we were still in the 1980's! Seriously in need of an update. The temperature of the shower in the bathroom never got above tepid. For £30 a night booked via a late bookings website all I can say is, well, it served its purpose in providing us with somewhere to stay!"
