Excellent BandB,one of the best I have ever stayed.
"This BandB is really excellent because the bedroom is very comfortable with cosy and elegant furniture, clean and tidy. The rich and tasty breakfast is served by the kind and thoughtful owner in a charming room.Delightful house and garden.Perfect position to visit Exmoor park.In my opinion ,because of I have stayed in many five stars BandB,this one deserves an higher evaluation."

Best in the West
"Thank you Paula and Nigel for a great break. The weather was not good, but your hospitality more than made up for it.
Lovely clean room, homely atmosphere, and Nigel's breakfast sets you up for the day. Will most certainly be back, Thanks once again."

"This is a pleasantly sited (much nicer than Minehead itself), clean and charming small hotel run by extremely friendly, welcoming, helpful and efficient hosts Paula and Nigel.
Our room was well furnished and decorated, with attractive view. Breakfast was good. There is a bar, operated on the honesty principle, with a good range of reasonably priced drinks - a very welcome feature.
Dinner is not provided in the hotel. Within a short drive there are quite a few places to choose from, some very good - eg a fish (mainly) restaurant in Watchet - but others very average (a sad generality in this region - boring food in not very clean pubs abounds).
The location is a good base for exploring Exmoor and the North Devon/ West Somerset coast and countryside."

Lovely stay, highly recommended
"Just returned from a long weekend at The Langbury and it was wonderful. The hotel is just lovely and Nigel and Paula make you extremely welcome and very comfortable. The rooms are extremely clean, light and airy and have everything you could need. Blue Anchor is a lovely spot, ideally situated for just relaxing as well as site seeing, the hotel is in a great position, our room looked out onto the garden, the surrounding fields as well as the beach/sea. The station for the steam train is minutes away, we were slightly worried about possible noise but didn't even hear it. Took the coastal walk to Minehead which took a couple of hours, the beach walk on the way back was slightly less, both good to do. Will deninitely go back to The Langbury as so much more to see and do in the area. Also looking forward to the smoked salmon and scrambled egg breakfast!"

Excellent Bed and Breakfast
"Can only support earlier review. Hosts are really extremely nice and attentive without pestering in any way. Only five rooms in this B&B which gives it a very personal touch. Nice rooms, although ours was not very big, but had everything you need and lots of the small details that show the hosts are really interested in the well-being of their guests. Breakfast was very good - served quickly and with a smile from both Paula serving and Nigel in the kitchen. Weather report was read out at breakfast. Nice location for the West Somerset railway - Blue Anchor station only a minute's walk away. Rest of village not too interesting but fine location for exploring Exmoor. On recommendation from Paula, we had dinner at The Smugglers Inn, some ten minutes walk from The Langbury. Very good food - reasonably priced."
