One of the most hospitable, friendly, places I've ever stayed in with a beautiful setting
"I've been to Huntstile Farm several times, first on a jazz weekend course, then on a New Years family break. Each time we have had a marvellous experience. The food is sensational, the atmosphere warm and welcoming, the facilities topnotch and the setting delightful. All this and right on organic food and brilliant hosts. John and Lizzie can't be too accommodating, and our organisation will be using this fine facility regularly."

A building site setting..
"Experience 'auf wiedersehen pet' type accomodation for real! As the DIY building work continues all around you relax amongst the rubble and dog poo.
Take a stroll past the piles of tyres and rusting machinery to the 'stone circle' which is delightfully surrounded by ploughed fields which make a superb backdrop to any photos and that dumped chest freezer in the woods is perfect for chilling champagne.
If you want any organic eggs or veg, a two minute walk through the building waste avoiding any trenches pursued closely by dogs may yield fruits, but I doubt it.
A memorable experience that we paid for."

Fantastic/relaxing/beautiful ... when can we go again?!
"We stayed in one of the self-catering cottages @ Huntstile, "Friendly Cottage". It's a beautiful little stone cottage ... you relax as you walk in the front door! There's a wood-burning stove in the sitting room a rayburn in the kitchen and the countryside on the doorstep :-) John & Lizzie, were so helpful with information on the local area and we treated ourselves to Lizzie's lovely breakfasts a couple of times. The farm is two minutes walk up a little lane and as "townies" we were amazed at the peace and quiet - only the occasional car or farm vehicle! The neighbour was very friendly - he was having some work done and apologised for the mess in his garden when we bumped into him at the farm - it didn't make any difference to us though, certainly not "a building site" and none of it was in our way at all. It was great to see the animals on the farm too, especially the lovely dogs. We'll definitely be staying there again next year ... can't wait!!!"

Ideal and tranquil setting which exceeded our expectations
"What a place!! We hired Hunstile for our wedding on the 7th August and have no regrets what so ever. The place was amazing and Lizzy (the owner) is a legend in her own right.
She ensured that the whole day was trouble free and povided us with some truly awesome cakes!! (Highly recommended).
The rooms and farm left nothing wanting. We, and everyone that stayed had nothing but positives to say for Hunstile.
It is an awesome place, in the middle of nowhere - how nice to wake up and hear nothing but birds!!
We wouyld stay at Hunstile again and again.......and again.
If you are looking for somewhere to kickback, relax and enjoy a bit of peace and tranquility then this is your place.
Truly awesome place and truly awesome staff that work there. I feel confident in saying our wedding day would not have been the same without the Lizzy and everyone at Hunstile Organic farm."

Excellent B&B accommodation
"My husband and I arranged to stay at Hunstile with our son and his best man the night before his wedding. I booked the week before and spoke to the owner, Lizzie and she was very friendly and warm. We stayed in the Cider Barn which had a double room with en-suite, a twin room with shower room and a sitting room. The rooms were very comfortable, clean and well equipped.
There is a restaurant in another old barn and when we arrived Lizzie welcomed us and offered us refreshments of tea, coffee or alchol, which was much appreciated. Although we didn't stay for an evening meal (which you can if you like) Lizzie was brilliant at suggesting local holsteries etc where we could eat, she even phoned and booked a table for us (we had our daugther and son's 'girlfriend' eating with us as they were both bridesmaids. After our meal at a local pub we returned with our son and his best man and Lizzie provided us with more drinks.
In the morning we had a superb 'full English breakfast' which set us up for the day ahead.
I would thoroughly recommend this Farm accommodation (you can camp there if you like). It was only a mile away from the country house where our son was getting married and it was extremely well priced aswell.
Best things: warm welcome, convenient location from M5 and to the country house, excellently priced.
Worse things: There were quite a few beetles around (after all this is an organic farm!)"

"Owners tried to put us up in a shanty town (as shown in the pictures) then refused to answer the phone when repeatedly called to complain or move accommodation."
