The best B&B weâve ever stayed in!
"We stayed at Gurney Manor Mill in July for one night with family. It was simply outstanding in every way! The owner was really friendly, welcoming and made you feel at home.
The setting was beautiful! We thoroughly enjoyed sitting outside enjoying a glass of wine or two by the pond in the fantastic garden.
The rooms were immaculate and very comfy. The breakfast was lovely and served in their breathtaking dining room â we felt like royalty!!
I would highly recommend staying here â weâll definitely be back!"

"Everything about Gurney Manor Mill is delightful. The old Mill has been lovingly restored from a derelict shed to this beautiful home and B&B. Pauline and Bill are excellent hosts and the breakfast in the their stunning dining room is first class. If you ask, they'll even show you the original water wheel of the mill, which they have made back to good working order.
Cannington is a great spot for exploring the surrounding countryside. The village itself boasts many country walks, a good selection of pubs that offer good food and the village has a beautiful old church and grounds at its heart.
Enjoy your stay."

What a find!!!
"Stayed 2 nights over Bank Holiday weekend. I've found some fairly nice places to stay via the internet in the last few years, but have never been as pleasantly surprised when arriving anywhere. Lovely location, charming owners (thank you Pauline & Bill for making us feel so welcome). Fabulous rooms & a very good breakfast. I would have no hesitation in recommending this to anyone (no matter how fussy they are!). Will very definitely be returning. We would have liked to stay longer. Great place for chilling out in tranquil surroundings, but close enough to drive to seaside towns if that's your thing.
Could not fault it."

Fantastic B&B, such good value
"We only stayed here for one night but wish we could have stayed longer. The setting is absolutely lovely and the converted barn is so beautiful. The rooms have exposed wood beams and they're so clean and cosy. It's extremely good value for money too - we'll definitely be back!!"

"The location is quiet and peaceful. The room was beautiful and the bathroom was stunning. We ate a delicious breakfast in a banquet room fit for a king/queen. The owners were so kind and accommodating. I would like to highly recommend this b & b to everyone. As well as the above it was a very reasonable affordable price."

Excellent converted barn B&B!!!! Should be 5*
"Stayed here on Valentines day/night as we were attending a wedding at Haswell house, which is about 20mins away.
A fantastic place, located though fields at the edge of the small village of Cannington. Couple of reasonable looking pubs in the village (although no time to visit them).
B&B is a converted barn, done to a very high standard, I saw 3 of the rooms (as we had friends staying there too). Our room was in teh roof of the barn and had an excellent red/black bathroom. There is a stream running though the gardens of the barn, and white ducks paddling about. We slept with the window open for the relaxing gurgle of the stream at night.
Owners are nice couple, and breakfast was very tasty and served in a very impressive main room with a large fireplace and lots of intersting artwork and sculpures.
Highly recommend this B&B. I would advise taking a copy of the directions though as it's a tiny bit hard to find in the village."
