GREAT VALUE, GREAT BREKKY AND VERY VERY FUNNY HOST. AAA+
"Well we came upon this accomodation simply from a friend who had previously stayed there once or twice over the last few years. They were spot on with there advice and we had a great time and could not pull ourselves from the bar as Joel the host was such a laugh and kept us entertained with his stories from his time in Europe, should write a book.... Well thanks again to all staff at The Leeway for making our stay, clean, safe and very enjoyable
See you again next year x"

Small and friendly.
"The Leeway is situated on the North Shore which has stunning views over the coastline. It is handy for the centre of Scarborough, and just down the road is one of the most beautiful parks in the area, good for kids and adults.
The new manager Joel is courteous and friendly, nothing is too much trouble, and he makes a great barman in the hotels small, but well stocked bar.
The rooms are slightly dated but this is being addressed, and I would have no hesitation in booking to stay here again."

Good location and service
"A friendly warm welcome from the new manager of the hotel Joel, who couldn't do enough to make our stay enjoyable.
An excellent breakfast was provided, and more toast and coffe was available if required.
I would recommend a room at the front of the hotel as there is a bit of traffic noise at the rear and this could be an issue for anyone who is a light sleeper.
Location means you are 10 mins walk from either the town or the north bay, and parking outside the hotel was limited to 4 spaces, but there is addiional parking on the street with a discounted permit system for hotel guests.
We will certainly return to the hotel in future, and would recommend it to anyone visiting Scarborough"

Perfect for couples :)
"We arrived at the hotel to the prefect views as the hotel overlooks the north bay. The room we had (Room 3) was spacious and had a nice view. There was a fully stacked tea tray so you could have a warm drink anytime you wanted :). The managers of the hotel could not do more for us anything were needed was no trouble they were more than happy and friendly which is always nice to have someone friendly and bubbly to serve you in the morning !
The breakfast was delicious and there was plenty of it. It set us up for the day.
There was a wide range of meals you could order, plenty of cereal, and jucies/tea/coffee.
Overall its a nice hotel with great managers really enjoyed our stay thankyou

Great Breakfast, great hosts and great value for money!
"We stayed at Leeway in Scarborough for 2 nights over the New Year. The rooms were clean and comfortable and the views were stunning over Scarborough's North Bay. Mine hosts couldn't do enough for us and you just have to sample the fantastic breakfast. ( We didn't need to eat again until dinner)!!
We'll be going to Leeway again very soon as it was such great value for money!"

"having stayed at owners other hotel the la biai . we expected the same service and were sadly let down .room we booked was awaiting plumber for shower alternative rooms offered were inferior. we agreed to have original room and use of small room for showering. breakfast was next disappointment we were given our tea/coffee with toast but had to wait until she came back to get our order to let her know ,we had not been given any butter for our now cold toast. my breakfast was served and finished before husbands was served. next day we packed to transfer to other room but when given keys discovered this was in middle of being painted, ladders, paint pots and dust sheets left. when pointed this out were told she hadn't noticed the painter had not cleared up."
