"we booked this hotel by phone, we we were told a standard room was £64/night and £70/ night for a superior room, we booked a superior room for two nights while our elderly parents had a standard room. we arrived on a sunny saturday afternoon at 1pm, this hotel has 21 rooms and six yes only six parking spaces. we were told to find a parking space somewhere in town, the town was very busy , the nearest place i found to park was a 10 minute walk away, but as i said it was a nice day for a stroll, if elderly guests arrive by car on there own they should consider that they may have to walk some distance back to the hotel. The superior room was ok with two beds pushed together to make a kingsize, the standard room was very small, breakfast was ok too. When we came to check out we were told that the price quoted per room was actually price per person so this meant our two night stay in filey had cost us £280 and our parents £256, they had not made this clear on the phone as we could of went to Barcelona for the weekend for less than 2 nights in filey. To summarise ok hotel if u dont mind parking your car in a side street some distance from the hotel, and searching for a parking space every time you go out"
