"Just had my first week end in a caravan at seashore, check in was effortless and took a matter of minutes,
nice pleasent staff etc the van itself was immaculate in every way and included on suite, the whole site was very clean and tidy. Food at the mash and barrel was quality and was also reasonably priced,as were the drinks at the club at night. swimming for the kids was good as were the other on site activities, the sand dunes and beach opposite are beautiful and worth a walk,we went into yarmouth a few times which was very nice (must have been revamped not so long back cause it was really tidy etc)
a day wrist band at the amusemant park was well worth it,lots of good rides for kids etc. we had a great break, will definately be going back.the only down side was the fact i had to listen to people who have nothing better to do than constantly moan about anything and everything just for the sake of it,please remember it says nothing in the brochure about 24/7 entertainment, sometimes you mite have to entertain your self. and if you want stuff at netto prices and netto quality find a netto and cook it yourself, and finally yes you do need to travel a mile and a half into yarmouth but i for one did`nt want a caravan at the side of the waltzer thanks. "we went to seashore with the sun holidays and paid for an upgrade i was pleased with the caravan it was obviosly new and very clean.i was most impressed with the 'sealed'toilet a nice touch. the staff were very welcoming and couldn't do enough for you. the entertainment was a tad cheesy i'm afraid but what can you expect it's all for kids. one or two small down sides, the cash hole in the wall didn't work and the burger king was really expensive. the bright side is the bar isn't that much dearer than the town ,the camp is really clean and looks totally different when we went there last.i would reccomend seashore if you dont pay top whack for a caravan it's staff and caravans are a lot nicer than 5 yaers ago."

"Just got back from a 3 night break at seashore with my boyfreind and 2 children aged 12,it is a loveley site and a nice place to stay but i personally wouldnt go there again. There is plenty of activities and play areas for young children and a sports court for teenagers. my daughter and her freind were bored alot of the time and we mainly drove off site everyday into great yarmouth seafront to keep them entertained on the pier and we also went bowling off site aswell.

the caravan was very clean when we arrived the only problem was the bedrooms with 2 beds were very small so there wasnt enough space to walk inbetween them. the freezer didnt work either and it was soo cold at night and during the day we had to leave the gas fire on all the time even while we were out. there is a hire shop onsite but it is just a rip off!! to hire a heater/heaters it cost £3.00 per day and a 10.00 deposit for each item so if we had 2 of them it would have cost us £18.00 plus a £20.00 deposit!!. the swimming pool was good kids loved the slide but they didnt have any inflatables out like in the brochure, it had to be booked free of charge but even then the kids have to be able to swim 25 metres so they couldnt even do that!!.

the mash and barrel was VERY VERY expensive £8.00 a meal and burger king was absulutley just rank!! rubery and expensive £5.00 a burger. we drove off site everyday to asda for little bits and mcds kfc and pizza hut(which was all about 2 miles from the site).

the weather was very very windy but sunny at the same time , if there was no wind it would of been nice and hot, so didnt really go on the beach.

it is nice to be so close to a sandy beach, but due to the caravan layout and driving off site into town, and the fact of everything being so expensive here i would not go again.

"The accomodation cost £1000 but I have stayed in better caravans for alot less. I found alot of problems with this caravan after paying so much I expected better quality. You can't go by what the pictures in the brochure and the website show as they didn't look anything like the caravan we got. I would not go for a Prestige next time but would choose a cheaper model. They do have some lovely caravans on site but not the one I got. Didn't use the entertainment complex but heard alot of yelling and arguements when it finished. We visited the circus in Great Yarmouth and saw the Chuckle brothers and Joe Pasquela as well. "

"We went to Seashore last year for 7 nights in a Superior caravan and we were quite happy with it, plenty of room but the bedrooms and bathroom was a little smaller than we would have liked, but it was very clean and I would recommend it to friends. The only problem we had with the site was that the club at night was always full and we could never get a seat, people were going to play bingo early and then keeping the seats for their families who wasn't coming in until much later.

We went back again this year for a 4 night break, booked a prestige caravan, so we thought that it would be alot better than the caravan we stayed in last year but to be honest, it seemed the same.

The caravan was very clean, had a shower on the first night, but the shower head was broke, we reported it the very next day and by the time we got back to the caravan 5 minutes later, someone was there ready to fix it. Very happy with that.
The staff are very friendly and helpful.
The club on site has been given a refit so there are alot more seats, really liked that, the toilets at the club were superb, very clean with automatic facilities.

All in all, a good place to visit, and I will be going there again soon."

"We have just got back from the seashore park and i must say it was a lovely park. We only went for 4 days but ive just booked another for next year for 7 days. We had brilliant weather luckily and the outdoor splashzone was really good for the kids. We stayed in a standard plus caravan because we took our dog and it was a lot better than i expected it to be, it was very very clean and quite spacious than i thought there was lots to do and a beach right at the front of the park. I must admit the beach didnt look too good when we got there as it was all grass at first but once u get over it theres a lovely sandy beach. I would definitly recommend this park :) "

"Stayed for a 3 night break during the october school holiday with my partner and another couple. The site itself was good plenty to do. enjoyed the entertainment (evening) although it was hard to get a table. we had to wait until about 9pm until people started going to get seated. we didn't use the pool or get involved with any of the day time things going on.
The booking in system was a bit weird! we had no idea we had to get a number like at the supermarket cheese counter. It could have been made a bit clearer. we ended up having to wait until last for our allocated accomadation as we hadn't collected a number!
We were unfortunatly disapointed with our caravan. we booked a superior 6 berth for 4 adults. When we got in to the van it stunk of an illegal substance! had to spray deodrant to get rid of the smell. The floor was all stainned and the walls and windows had mould growths. Our friends had the double room and my partner and i the twin. Beware the twin room is designed for children. we are both almost 6ft tall and it was very crampled. the beds are only 5ft long and 2ft wide!!! The matresses were extremely uncomfortable. mine actually had a spring sticking out!! I ended up sleeping on the sofa in the lounge but even that wasn't comfortable and it was dirty and stank! we wondered where the other two people were supposed to sleep as it was a 6 berth. It was also very cold it the caravan. the only heating being a small gas fire in the lounge. The cups provided were filthy we had to wash the up before we used them. The bathroom was the best bit about the caravan. lovely shower. we should have complained really but we were only there for 3 days so we put up with it.
we found the mash and barrel pub good. althugh annoying that as it was nearly the end of the season the had no stock. It was a busy half term week they should provide all the things they advertise. we had breakfast in there twice. good value. very slow service and once again no pepper, napkins or brown sauce!!
the site was a good 30 mins walk to the britainnia pier. We got taxis from reception. cost £6 between 4 of us one way. there is a little noody train which i think is £1.50 each on way.
We wouldn't return to that haven site."

"Me and my family 2 adults and 1 child 7 years old stayed at Seashore Holiday park for a week at the end of August. We stayed in a Superior caravan, after reading some of the reviews i wasn't expecting much. The caravan we had was lovely really nice, clean, bed linen was clean, everything was in there that should of been.
We got to the caravan park quite early and our check in wasn't till 4pm, but all though we couldn't go into the caravan we could use all the facilities on site. We found the site to always be clean, there was a lot of security which was good cause it meant there was no trouble. The location was ideal as you only had to walk 5 mins and you was on the beach, its only down the road from Great Yarmouth which was also good. All the staff on the park was very friendly the entertainment was good something for everyone to do. As a family we couldn't fault anything."

"On September 4th my family and I rolled into Seashore for a holiday, we'd been before and enjoyed it... but this time around... it was pure naff, the entertainment (except for one night) is TERRIBLE. The "Havenmates" or whatever name they have now, had two shows...these were poor, the toilets in the club stunk constantly of urine. The caravan was not what we asked for OR paid for... though they proclaimed it was the best one available... we paid for prestige & got a caravan even a pikey would be ashamed of... we expressed that we had a disabled person with us... but to no avail, they did not help with much. we had 2 or 3 defunct plug sockets... the fire alarm & smoke alarms did NOT have batteries... AND we were short one set of bedding too... all in all a VERY disappointing stay, and I will not be visiting that black hole again."

"We have just returned from a week long break at Seashore. It was fantastic. The caravan was lovely and even had an en-suite in the large bedroom. It was clean and tidy. The check-in was quick and we had our keys 15mins early.
We have visited approx 8 other Haven sites and this one and Primrose Valley are the best so far.
The staff are friendly and polite and very helpful. One night my 3 year old ran into an older girl, cutting all the inside of his mouth, I took him into the toilet to clean him up and a lady from reception was in there, she quickly went to fetch a first aider to take a look at him for us.
The entertainment was great and fun for both the kids and the adults later on. Although it is very busy at times and hard to find a seat.
There is lots to do on site, including a climbing wall, football coaching, a large outdoor wooden play area and pedal cars. It is also 5 minutes from Great Yarmouth itself and also has access to it's own large beach.
The pool we felt was brill, all parts were open at all times (we have stayed at other parks before and nothing seems open), there are 2 large water slides, a childrens pool with small slide, a large pool and a large outdoor splash area. It was properly staffed with lifeguards checking safety at all times.
The Mash and Barrel was large and spacious and the staff were realy nice. We only ate there once as we have had bad exeriences before. Our meals arrived 10 minutes after ordering and the childrens arrived at the same time also, piping hot and were very tasty.
We were really sad to leave, and we are definately booking for next year."

The shop is best avioded and the supermarkets in town are cheaper!
next year we will be going back to caister as this is where we went last year and it was fantasti!

"Me and my partner and baby son have now been to seashore 5 times and were off for our sixth time monday! I love the park itself, we always stay in a standard caravan as we take our dog and all caravans have allways been very clean and if ever we have had a fault the haven staff come out quickly and sort it out.Ideal if your taking your dog as the park is right near the beach itself. Only been in the club house once or twice and thought was okay but very busy, but the club house itself is not my thing. My only real critism of seashore is the food outlets, very expensive and the chip shop was revolting but apparently they have knocked that down and a new pizza/pasta outlet is there! Easy to get into yarmouth itself with a bus or land train or even your car or walking. I think for a caravan holiday its great,Ive never expected 5* as really for us its just a base to sleep. We cant wait to book another holiday just wish I could afford to buy one down there :-( "
