they have a health problem that is a bad way of dealing with disabled people
"As above discussing, there are certain things you may leave at home, like a id card for a 24 year old man, don't ask for help or you will get a bad answer."

1st Haven holiday very impressed
"We loved it at Seashore our caravan Anchorage 99 was right near the beach, just a 2 min walk to the fun works and live lounge. The check in was quick and easy, staff very friendly. We thought the entertainment was great the fun stars are brilliant at their job.The only thing we found off putting was the pool had lots of hair in it and changing rooms were dirty."

"If you are looking for a restfull holiday stuck in the caravan then you are ok.However if you want entertainment don't come to haven, their idea of entertainment is a couple of scuffy idiots pratting about on stage amusing if you are 5 years old. There is no entertainment for grown ups and most of the yellow coats looked as if they come out of the nightshelter. This camp only cares for caravan owners they have their own clubhouse with all the entertainment.seashore has gone downhill it really deserves a -1* rating. If you are considering going save your money and sit at home watching paint dry it is more fun."

dont go by website and brochure..........never again!
"we have just returned home yesterday, a day earlyer than planned 4* park? more like a 1* park. we stayed at Gannet and had a deluxe plus, check in easy and fast, staff very polite and helpful, although caravan was comfy and clean it looks like the standard plus on website (did we really get the caravan we payed for?)so cold that all our blankets and pillows felt damp all the time and we dident want to leave the gas fire on when we were out incase of fire but the fan heaters built in our rubbish, not even worth putting them there. states caravan has all included but found our knives were blunt, broken potato peeler that was blunt too, no shreated knife for bread, no colindor, broom that was snapped in middle, no egg cups, ignition did not work on fire and we also had a broken knob on cooker which i had not noticed until i had a problem in the week with it, i was needing to use the oven and had gone to light the oven when a massive loud bang and orange flames which went out from inside the oven and the smell of gas all around caravan, i got my kids and got them out, luckley there was security van near and i waved him over, then 2 more security vans turnt up told us to move out the way, went in, opened kitchen window and sorted the problem which turned out to be the broken knob that caused it because although the knob turned round it was not actully turning it, replaced it and that was that, (not even an apoligie from seashore what so ever)(should have been sorted before we arrived) the balls on water are advertised for 5+ but they don't have the facilities for the little ones anymore so instead of updating timetable, there dissapointing little kids as my daughter was looking forward to doing it with her brothers but very upset when she could not, the activities are suppossed to be 30mins which they are accept the balls on the water as my elder 2 had 7 mins on them as there were lots of kids, alot of money for just 7 mins (if there were lots of kids they should have given them an extra session of them especilly when you pay between £5 and £8 per 30mins each child)time table also states that there is facepainting in the circus activity but there was not (another disapointing moment for my kids and the teachers teaching juggling could not juggle themselves. a lady at the reception was very very rude with a bad attitude(dont think she works on reception but mabe a higher member of staff as was not wearing uniform. we asked the man at reception about horse and cart rides but he dident seem to know anything, not very helpful and does not let you talk, buts in when your trying to talk.also found when we asked around in spar, clubhouse and mash and barrell for a local chinese number, noone new even though they work in the area and probley live local too (is it because they want us to eat and spend money with them?)states fun filled activities all day every day,(rubbish) age ristrictions on them all. kids will never be board they say, my kids got very board so had to entertain them out of camp most of time, for us most of the time it was a choice of swimming or arcades as we had allready spent £54 on activity sessions which the kids had used. we were looking forward to hiring the push bikes for the day but found out that there were no baby/toddler seats or karts to go on back of adult bikes.(the money they are raking in, you would have thought they would have some seats/karts to go on back of adult bikes, after all it is a kids holiday park and i think they are only £60 for the karts to buy new from a bike shop. heaters are £21 per week. laundrette cost £5.50 a wash (dident even come up that clean)and £1.20 for 15 mins in the dryer (dirt and rubbish on laundrette floor). (sick on pavment which i nearly walked in) spar shop very exspencive most things were double-triple the price of what they are at tesco and other stores.(selling cheep toys for double-triple the price) and when i was served by a man in the spar shop i found him nosey and rude, asking me if what i was buying was my dinner and also said my kids were supposed to be back at school. also don't sell tesco mobile top up vouchers. we ended up shopping at tesco. we found one of the young girls working here as a funstar in the clubhouse live lounge very rude and offensive to a couple of ladys (in an adults game where contendents had to collect items from others ie socks, bras, bags ect and when one had collected a bra the funstar lady had said it wasent a very nice bra holding it up with the tip of her finger infrount of everyone in there and another when she had gone through a lady's bag and phone, (shounting it all out on mic, personal). we had an evening out, just myself and my partner with another couple, first time in ages, was nice to have a break but 15 mins after ariving in the mash and barrell at 9.30 we was told that its last orders on drinks as they were closing as they were not making enough money and this was just after the football finished and some people had left. this happened the 2 times we were over there, we explained we had payed £600 for this holiday so how can they say they were not making enough money, (we payed so should be allowed to use the bar till normal closing hours, so so bad)BEWARE of bingo unless you have a loud voice or stand up so the bingo number caller can see or hear you as our friend played for £180, shouted HOUSE and even though others playing in the room heard here and vouched she has shouded HOUSE, the young girl (bingo number caller) said sorry she couldent accept it as she did not hear her and noone else had a claim on it so rightfully she should have won it but the game went on a 2-3 numbers later they gave the £180 to another HOUSE caller. (another thing that should never had happened.(mabe they should get some profesoinals staff in as these young girls dont seem to be doing there job to the max standard. note: the flumes are not open on mondays and fridays but are open 10am-12noon and 3pm-5pm on tuesday, wednesday, thursday, saturday and sunday. (does not state this on website) dont go by some of pics on website and brocure, compleatley a diffrent place/pic to seashore.(there a pic on the front of a leaflet that looks like australia? and vidios on website where people run out of caravan and the sand right on there doorstep? we walked round to see if we could see this but we couldent,as when we book, from watching the video on website we put in reoust for sea veiw, and when we arrived we were told the nearesrt they could get us was facing the pool, allough we new reouest wasent garenteed was this taking the mick? you walk over grass first to get to sand, some parts you have to go down steps, over grass then on to sand.note:big dip as you walk into sea. on are departure when we handed our keys in, we was not asked if evrything was ok and and if our stay was ok, just took keys and said thanks even though we left day early, if it wasent for the kids we would have left in first 2 days but how could you dissapoint children, we cant, so enjoyed most of holiday out of the site. if we was offered a free holiday with free spending money, meals ect, we would not go. alot of wasted money, first and last time for us and we will be making a massive complaint for faulse advertising and the rest.

fantastic fun, life changing holliday
"we arrived at the sea shore resort Great Yarmouth 0n the 30th july 2012, we were greeted with friendly staff full of smiles, who were warm and welcoming. The caravan we were located with (40 herring) was close to all ammenties, which was lovely with the kids, the caravan was spotless. Our children absolutley loved it, acctivities for kids was amazing as was the evening entertainment, not a dull moment atall, plenty to do for kids and adults. we so amazed at how quickley any problem we had Nikki hall, shantel and caroline dealt with immadietley in our time of need.
We enjoyed it so much that we came to a life changing decision looking into moving to Great Yarmouth. Thanking sea shore for such a wonderfull life changing holliday experience. We have booked again to return in october."

best haven place i have been to
"just came back from seashore after a week what a great place have been to other haven hoilday parks but found everywhere so hilly to climb at seashore it is just flat ground we stayed at clipper right next to the racetrack a lovely area plenty of sports to do for the children spar shop is big but a bit expensive but there is a tesco and asda nearby nightlife was ok we took the parks train into the town a couple of times and there is a bus stop over the road with a mini bus called ourbus that takes you further into town beach is oppersit park a bit stonney but further in the town there is a nice beach with a boat that takes you out to sea the sealions. seashore people are very friendly carvan spotless the only downside was the wifi was only in the mash and barel it was a bit of a pain esp if you wanted to download books would recommend seashore and would def go there again it has everything you want and the town isnt far as well"

will never go there again
"go every year away with family to relax and enjoy but the last time we went it was just horrible one of my children was accused of exposing himself although these were not the words used it was one word **** i found this on its own the icing on the cake it was very very offensive and we were asked to leave the next night when we entered the complex we were asked to leave the staff were heavy handed rude and generally thuggish i wrote to complaint but as you can imagen was not believed neither me or my husband would ever allow that kind of behavior from any one of our children give a group of men security passes and they seems to become a group of crack sas officers in there own minds "

A FANTASTIC HOLIDAY
"Have just come back from a weeks holiday at Haven Seashore, what a fantastic holiday. We went with other extended family and had three caravens between us, ages ranged from 3years old to grandparents in their 70's.Everyone enjoyed themselves, the activities for the children were great the staff interaction with the children was fantastic they really enjoyed being with and helping the children in their activities couldn't fault them.In fact all the staff were friendly and helpful and nothing was too much trouble for them.Would recommend buying the activity sports passes in advance as that gives you better value for money. Our accomadation was the prestige caravans which were very clean, well equiped and had plenty of storage except for the size of the fridge which was really tiny especially if you want to cook for yourselves and not eat out all of the time. The only slight fault we had with Haven was that when we booked we asked for two of the caravans to be as close as possible to each other so that the children could easily and safely go between the caravens to see each other without an adult having to go with them all the time, but unfortunately this didn't happen.Would definetly recommend Seashore to other families."

"I've just came back from seashore, the entertainment at night was amazing, every night something good was on for the kids.I would say that the caravan we stayed in was very dated, it was a luxury one however it was not that luxury. A good point about the caravan is that it was very clean. Its wonderful that is located on the golden mile this means it was close to all the pubs clubs shop arcades ect ...and is walking distance to the beach. My children loved the holiday and we will be booking to go next year.

Good Clean Holiday Site
"We were 2 adults plus a 1 an 3 year old and stayed in a 2 bed Prestige Caravan. We found the whole site very clean our caravan was immaculate and looked as if the fixtures and fittings were new. Spacious with loads of storage space - more storage space than we actually needed which is certainly a plus point. Kitchen well eqipped. Caravan had a bathroomn with shower plus an en suite toilet and basin. We were right opposite the Mash & Barrell, pool, splash park so had an excellent location.
Everything on the site was pricey in particular Spar and Papa Johns (rip off). There is a local Asda a 2.5 miles away. Various leaflets were dropped around the caravans for take-aways in town that delivered. We only tried Noble House Chinese which was foul ... threw it away.
The only downside we really found was there was not much put on for the pre-school age group for entertainment (we stayed outside school holidays) but what there was they thoroughly enjoyed."
