A wonderful stopping place
"Mick and May welcomed us whole heartedly and tea was plentiful! They managed to direct us everywhere we wanted to go and accomodated a special request call from overseas for us on their home line. Breakfasts were good and varied to suit every taste. If we wanted to visit Great Yarmouth again one day, we will be sure to stay with them. The Canadian Pair"

Fantastic trip for fantastic price
"We stayed at Sandy Acres for two nights and we really enjoyed our self. We were made very welcome by May and Mick from the minute we arrived. The rooms are big and have everything you need including a T.V with Freeview and a DVD player. Sandy acres is very clean and situated very close to the beach. There are pubs, off-licences, chippies and laundrette all nearby. We will definately be staying there again and would reccomend this guesthouse to anyone."

"Just arrived back from Sandy Acres today 4th April 2010, and one word fantastic. May and Mick made us feel very welcome. There were 5 of us, my husband, me and 3 kids in a family room which as we walked in it was a wow. We were very impressed there were 3 single beds and a double and still plenty of room to walk about. It was spotless as so was the en suite. There was even 2 bottles of cola for the kids, and tea and coffee making facilities. There was soap, shampoo, nail file, shoe shine wipes and even a shower cap. The food was superb, having a choice for breakfast. It arrived very quickly. When we return to Yarmouth it will be Sandy Acres we will be stopping in for sure. May and Mick go out there way to make sure you have a good stay with them, they are a lovely couple and so friendly, you can't go wrong if you stay there."

Friendly and understanding of special dietary needs
"Great B&B located yards from the beach and not too far from town itself. Very friendly service coupled with excellent understanding of my girlfriends dietary needs really enhanced our holiday. Would recommend to anyone."

HIGHLY RECOMMENDED TO ALL
"An excellent place to stay, May and Mick made us all feel welcome, the room was very clean and more than big enough for the three of us and the en-suite was superb, complimentary extras such as bottled water, hot chocolate and even buckets and spades for the beach made this easily the best accomodation we have stayed in. Close to the beach and a beautifully scenic walk into Yarmouth alongside a fine breakfast with loads of choice and brilliant hosts make this a must return to destination."

"Sandy Acres owners made us extremley welcome right from the start. The rooms are very clean and fully equipped. Our room had a ensuite with a shower which was clean and big as i am six foot two. The food was wonderfull and the location was only a short walk to the beach. The hotel is great value for money and i would recomend it to all. Next time i stay in Great Yarmouth i will be looking to book at Sandy Acres."

fab family friendly B&B
"Lovely couple, May & Mick, very friendly and made us very welcome. Great value for money, loved the breakfast. Highchair and travel cot provided, leaving us valuable space in the car! The family room we stayed in was very large and even with the travel cot up there was still plenty of space to walk round. The en-suite was very clean, with towels provided. Sandy Acres is very close to the beach just a 2 min walk and only 15 mins walk into the buzz of Yarmouth. Our family is looking forward to going back next year."

"My husband and I were made very welcome by May and Mick and felt at home from the start. The room we had was lovely and everything one needed was in it as well as being clean and comfortable. Breakfast was first class and a large choice of food nicely cooked. We would definitely stay again when in Great Yarmouth, Thank You Both. May and Bernie. Parking in July was right outside the main entrance"

The best bed and breakfast in the UK
"Having just returned from our third visit to Great Yarmouth we have stayed each time at Sandy Acres. This bed and breakfast is absolutely wonderful, due to the fabulous hosts May & Mick Nolan. On arriving they give a very friendly welcome and they make you feel like part of their extended family. The rooms we have stayed in are spotlessly clean with very comfortable beds and have good hospitality including toiletries and bottled water and tea making facilities. The food is also excellent, breakfast is always served promptly and they give an excellent variety menu to choose from with the food being of excellent quality. This B&B is within easy reach of the seafront in Yarmouth in a very nice area of the town and I would thoroughly recommend this to anyone planning on visiting Yarmouth for a few days. Excellent hosts, food and service, well deserved of it's 4 star rating."
