"We've stayed in Southport many times, but this was our first time of staying at the Seaview, and without doubt it proved to be an excellent choice of venue. We were met on arrival by Alex and Mike who extended us a warm and friendly reception, swiftly followed by the very welcome appearance of freshly brewed tea, coffee, and biscuits, kindly presented to us within only a couple of minutes of stepping through the front door. The off road parking facility was a welcome relief as parking in Southport can be a bit of a nightmare. Alex and Mike are rightly proud of their guest house which is both cheerful and comfortable and where we were made to feel completely at home by Alex and Mikes relaxed and smiling manner; for whom nothing seemed to be too much trouble throughout our stay. The rooms are all spotless clean and comfortable, and include imaginative and practical complimentary extras which we found impressive; an attention to detail that displayed an unexpected element of extended care towards their guests. Our room was located at the front of the building on Bath St, yet the outside area was quiet and peaceful throughout our stay. Breakfast was served with a smile, and the choices excellent both in varity and presentation. The full English breakfast was a delight, served hot, it contained generous portions, and was cooked to perfection. The Seaview is a gem of a guest house and a perfect base to see Southport. It is well appointed, just off Lord Street, Southports main thoroughfare, and the Promenade, the pier and Floral Hall (Conference centre) are literally just a couple of minutes walk away. We can thoroughly recommend this very appealing guest house and look forward to future visits. "

" The Seaview is a lovely Hotel near to all the shops and close to the shows. The room was very clean and had everything you might need even a sewing kit. Breakfast was fresh hot and tasty. Worth the money we paid and would stay again. The staff made us very welcome like home from home Shame the weather was bad. "
