Awful!!! never again!!!
"my wife and 2 kids and myself + friends got to the resort , waited for about half an hour just to get the key, got to the caravan and tried to put the central heating on, not working.. called the reception a guy came and said there was fault. my kids wanted to have a shower after a long day, no hot water! went to the manager who gave us a key to the leisure center and to our most surprise showers there not working either! went to the manager again apologized politely.. "there is nothing we can do and we are very sorry perhaps you would like a smaller caravan"... of course we could not take a small caravan as we were 8 people. the mattresses were awful as well small and the springs got to all our back, just could not sleep. the only wifi connection was at the bar, and... not working! cut the story short we had to leave a day earlier and the only compensation they offer is to reduce 30 pounds for the next order in their caravans. we left never to return, please do not do it for yourselves, rubbish place, rubbish service! with the same price you can find much better holidays!"

Helpful and friendly staff, good facilities, great location.
"Visited holiday park in early October 2013 on a Sun "£9.50 holiday deal". Good site, friendly staff, great location for touring. Had a car problem whilst I was there and a nearby garage Greensward 01507 358402 were real stars. Dropped me off at the site and picked me up when the repair was complete. Unbelievably cheap! "

Sunnydale is Great
"Lovely park. Clean, well maintained, nice facilities for all the family. Would recommend it to anybody, and thinking of buying a caravan on the site, as want to keep coming back "

sunnydale is ok
"We had a short break at Sunnydale and quite enjoyed it. We were basically using the park as a base to go sightseeing. The van was clean, comfortable and well appointed. We didn't really see much of the entertainment but it was mostly aimed at children anyway. The fishing lake is a pond, really, but I did see a nice carp being caught. What was very poor was that you have to pay for wifi and it was expensive! I mean, how much does a wireless modem cost? Not a lot. It was a good job I can use my mobile as a modem, so I'm writing this just before we leave. In short this is a great site to explore the seaside towns and Lincoln, and as it is right on a National Nature Reserve a great place for walkers and bird watchers. The seal sanctuary in Mablethorpe is worth a visit. Also don't use the council car park in Mablethorpe, there's one right on the sea front which is cheaper for all day parking at £2 "

Dirty and Disapointing!
"We wanted a last minute break to get away we have worked all year no time off until this holiday! What a mistake!! After unpacking in our silver 8 berth we went to store bags under 1 of the beds only to be confronted by huge piles of dust, sweet wrappers and even mould on the bed frame, as we were expecting the rest of our party to arrive shortly including young children we just swept the crap up and wiped the frame clean.. A few hours later we went to a supermarket which was miles away to stock up for the week with food, when we got back we noticed crumbs on the surfaces in the cupboards, greesy finger marks on fridge door etc In the bathroom was not to clever either!toothpaste over taps etc!!As one member didn't turn up with our party we moved the bed to find the sheets had loads of holes in them! The next day i noticed the white t-shirt i was wearing in the caravan was filthy dirty on the back from the sofa i sat on!It also came to our attention few days later there was only enough crockery for 6 people when it was an 8 berth! the door handle kept falling off the bedroom door which would be a fire hazzard! The list grew as the week went on!The bar and club was dirty and dated even the menu's were grubby!(we didn't eat there)! The staff looked miserable we never went back in there! We didn't want to stay in the caravan, the lake was a puddle! No life gaurd at the swimming pool on the morning of our first swim as we read (for adults only) which wasn't the case it,had been changed to all ages so i decided against it,the welcome package was not updated to changes!!!! The beach is a marsh,we heard machine guns at night then it came to our attention the field next door was a firing range, which was not mentioned when booking! We ended up coming home early as we felt so fed up and dirty!that was the happiest day of thye holiday!when handing the key in they never asked us if we enjoyed ourselves or why was we leaving early! When we got home we wrote a letter of complaint to the site manager feeling very upset and anxious and guess what?No reply appolagy and its now two months later!!! My dog had a better holiday than us and his kennel was cleaner!!!!!!"

"just returned from week at sunnydale as you can imagine this time off year is very cold in a caravan but we had a faulty fire after calling out the gas reapair man we were informed by him to keep the pilot light on constant so fire could be used. As you can imagine the thought off this with a 2 year old child running around was appauling so we had to resort to lighting fire with a lighter which wasnt safe either but park would not move us. The park is quiet which would off beeen fine if the facilities were up to standard so called soft play and pool are tiny with pathetic changing rooms and families are not allowed to change together leaving me to change my child alone and myself. Staff were rude and unenthusiastic the so called evening entertainer was the worst off all very rude in front off children. All together very poor save your money and don't go. "

Great Family Holiday! Cant Wait for 2010 Visit!
"My family and i booked a 7night break at Sunnydale and enjoyed every minuite of it! From the second we arrived on park the staff went out of their way to make us feel welcome and they all made such a fuss of all the children! The caravan we booked was a silver 12foot and it was excellent, spotlessly clean and in really good condition, we'd been in the accomodation about an hour and we got a visit from a reception girl who was just making sure everything was ok and there wasnt anything extra we needed, as it happens we had forgotten some towels so the young girl went off and returned 15mins later with 4 clean towels for us to use! a great start to the stay! The childrens entertainments is great too it really kept our little ones occupied day and night, and the live entertainment in the evening was also good. We ate in the park restaurant a few times and thought it was quite good, fast enough and the bar staff were always happy to have a chat with you. I know this wont appeal to everyone but my partner and my son enjoyed a few afternoons fishing in the parks private coarse fishing lake, and the whole family loved the activities in the pool. Theres a great little village pub at the end of the lane too thats got all sorts going on everyday and does some good food at reasonable prices. We've already booked our weekend break and 7 night break for Sunnydale for 2010 and cannot wait! 5* holiday and 5* staff :o)"

Nice Quiet Relaxing Break
"We booked to stay at Sunnydale to enjoy a quiet and relaxing Break as per the Park Resorts Brochure Description. On arrival we found our caravan to be clean and tidy and the reception staff friendly and helpful. Although the entertainment centre is outdated slightly the staff were more than friendly and the food was of a very good standard. Swimming pool and toilets all clean and tidy, only downside was the little camp shop that was not very full and slightly overpriced. We even received a curteousy visit from the General Manager who asked for our feedback which we thought was a caring touch. We would definately return to this site."

The Site Is Quiet Good
"We arrive slightley early and were given our keys with no fuss. The caravan was clean but was its age, but it was very livable. I must stress you need transport as the surrounding roads aren't very good for cycling. On the site the food is reasonably priced although for me the postions were small, the they are very nice. One draw back is you can only have the set meal. One of the members of my party only wanted a burger and it cost him £4.99.The two bars are clean and the prices are reasonable. This is a holiday site I would reccomend"

sunnydale my [--]
"Just got back from a weeks helliday, yes helliday ,at sunnydale park resorts in lincolnshire, what a dump ! We paid over £500 for a caravan that looked like it had been dragged off a farmers field , it was liveable if you have bad eyesight, we were only given 1 door key as the key for the other door had been lost , not really a problem !It was after having a shower and seeing the water seeping through the bedroom wall on to the floor that it got annoying , so , after mopping that up and wiping the bathroom floor we noticed that the floor was absolutely filthy , the wardrobe hanging rail was held up with a 2 inch screw sticking out the top , our parents even went out & paid for rubber gloves & cleaning products to clean the bathroom from top to bottom because after complaining , the "maintanence man "resealed the shower only to leave lumps of silicone all over the floor & sink .We replaced a lightbulb in the living area after getting fed up of waiting and that was just the caravan . The site was very dated and staff didnt seem bothered that kids were running around annoying people. They say its close to its own beach , that is after you walk about a mile through a muddy salt flat to get to it , also advertises a fishing lake on sight , to be honest with you i've seen bigger puddles, anyway they did give us £20 in vouchers for cleaning their caravan which we used towards a meal from park resorts delivery service , the meal was nice enough . Don't get me wrong i'm not a snob by any means but for the price they charge the caravans should at least be cleaned to an acceptable standard , and if the staff smiled they must have done it by mistake .If you are thinking of going there , think again , there are better sites around the area that might just be a bit more welcoming. We tried a cheap sun holiday last year that cost us just £74 and the caravan was spotless and the park was better maintained , just goes to to show you dont always get what you pay for."

Good but could be better
"We stayed here in a static caravan (Platinum class) for short break in June 2009. This is their top of the range accommodation and I have to say is the best of this type we have ever seen. It was immaculate, spacious and clean. We reckoned it was probably new that season. As far as the site goes it depends what you want. It is quiet there with not a great deal to do. We have only one young child but you would certainly struggle to keep older children amused for any length of time. The swimming pool is okay but there is not much else on site unless you like fishing (which I don't) where there is small coarse fishing lake. As with a lot of these places some parts of the site were a bit run down and could do with some refurbishment but on the whole it was better than average. They need a decent shop on site though as the overpriced kiosk thing they have is just not adequate. There is little in the way of shops for miles around as far as we could tell. There is a garage up the road but again their stock is very limited. We had nice weather apart from being very windy all the time but I would not want to be there if it was poor weather as there is nothing much of interest in the immediate area. The park itself backs on to a former RAF weapons testing site and there are some areas on the flats where there are signs warning of potentially unexploded shells. It's not something I was too bothered about as we didn't go to those areas but it's something they won't mention in the brochures! It's not near any beach either. We tried to order food the evening we arrived and was told we would have to wait an hour even though the kitchen was supposedly open. We never did get to eat there and were told by more than one guest that food the on-site was terrible. This was further confirmed when the local chip-shop owner told us that the camp staff prefer his food rather than that on site. The chip shop food was quite good by the way and just 50 yards or so from the camp. To be honest there are not many places to eat in the area at all and Sunnydale are missing a trick as they could be making a good profit by providing decent food. Also the bar staff need to be a bit more customer friendly as well. We know they do a boring job but it wouldn't hurt to smile once in a while. The entertainment was okay, nothing special, but we wished the kids club stuff had started earlier than 8 o'clock in the evening as our little-un was half asleep by the time it got going. Be prepared to drive if you want to go anywhere. Mablethorpe is about 1/2 an hours drive away and it was incredibly windy there (as it very often is on this part of the coast). We were disappointed by Mablethorpe and thought it was a bit grotty to be honest but some people will like it and the beach isn't too bad. Overall It was a kind of okay but it's a bit dull there - 6/10. "
