Fantasic hen weekend
"I have just returnd from the Trafford hotel after staying there for 2 nights for my hen weekend.
I would like to thank Robbie and John for being such fantasic hosts, they made our stay and couldn't do enough for us.
The hotel was in the ideal location for us by the centre peir it was close to main nightlife and the shopping centre.
The rooms were clean, basic and comfortable, just as I would expect for a 3* B & B in Blackpool.
The shower was fine in all 3 rooms we had. It does have to come from the basment so sometimes you may have to give it 5 minutes to get warm and then it was really hot but it really wasn't a problem.
All 9 of us that stayed intend to return to this hotel and I would recommend it to others.
Once again a big thank you to Robbie and John for a fantastic stay."

"WOW what can i say , just returned from a 4 day stay with The Trafford Hotel Robbie and John, what fantastic accomodation ,value for money and superb hosts in Robbie and John, they could not do enough for us. We went as a family with 2 boys aged 12 and 6 and they bent over backwards for us, not enough could be done. We had the family en- suite room with 2 double beds and 2 single beds. Water was hot for the showers , and the room was warm and cosy . Breakfast was very tasty full english , cereals , toast, tea , coffee , or juice again fantastic value for money. In the evening time they even gave my eldest son their laptop for him to surf the web with as i said before fantastic guys. Our stay with you guys was the best and will be looking forward to seeing you in the future, All the best you guys The Bailey family xxxx"

"Firstly apologies to "Trafford Hotel" , I mistakenly mixed the two up and posed this review to the wrong hotel.
I came away from my stay at this Hotel feeling extremely dissapointed. The room was very pokey, (not enough room to swing a cat!). All there was to hang our clothes on was a clothes rack with a couple of hangers on. The mugs for the tea and coffee didn't look clean either!
As for normal expectations of a room, it didn't even have a TV which meant that we didnt have anything to help drown out all the expected noise from the street below our window.
Also it took about 5 minutes for the shower to start getting remotely warm which surely can't be right? Plus I don't recall there even being a mat to stand on when you got out.
We didn't complain about the fact there was no TV because I said to my partner that at the end of the day we should have looked to see if it had, but we did casually mention it to one of the managers and he sarcastically replied, " Oh I'll just go and turn down the noise from outside then shall I?"
Now I come onto breakfast. The chef /waitress was very friendly I have to admit..we were offered juice and toast, cereals were self service. We chose to have a full english breakfast which was very tasty but we hardly got any food on our plates. (one slice of bacon one sausage about a spoonful of beans and an egg) We never got offered any more juice or toast either. I dont think we were being greedy, we just expected more for what we paid. I forgot to mention the fact that our table was next to a grotty ironing board and more or less shoved into the corner.
So, overall ..apart from ALL the above..the beds were reasonably comfortable which i suppose with some more fancier hotels you wouldn't get..but I don't think I would recommend it to people with children as they would probably go insane with such a small room. I do realise that a room is meant for sleeping but you also need to be able to move around! We later found that there were hotels close by for similar prices with more facilities so i don't see how they can charge these prices.
But there you go, we won't be making that mistake again."

Would def stay again !
"The hotel was warm and welcoming, the owners were friendly and inviting.
The room was small but very comfortable, the bed was fab and the bathroom was spotless.
The only bad point was sitting on the loo, it was too close to the sink. I found I used the loo on the landing rather than squash in the ensuite.
The shower was fab the water was just the right temp, it was so stong I felt like Id had a massage.
I would def stay again.
Thank you for a lovely stay John and Robbie x"

Great hotel with very friendly owners!
"Just got back from a stay in the hotel. This really is a good hotel and is excellent value for money. Breakfast is included and the full english was lovely, a great start to the day! The rooms are lovely and clean, we had an en-suite for a little bit extra and it's well worth it. The owners go out of their way to make you welcome, and give you advice of where's best to go. The bar prices are definitely reasonable for a hotel - cheaper than the bars and clubs on Friday and Saturday nights!
I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone thinking of going there."

THE TRAFFORD HOTEL, NOT trafford hotel, dont get em mixed up
"stayed here for a couple of nights in march, hotel is lovely and clean, rooms are clean and modern, ( really wanted to take the pics off the wall home with me ) ours was en suite, which was a lovely bathroom. Robbie and John who run the place are very friendly and gave us some great tips on where to eat out. The hotel itself is in a great place, just a few minutes walk from all the shops, (heaven) :D It has just been refurbished, and is not to be mistaken for the other hotel in blackpool called trafford hotel which is on south shore. highly reccomend this hotel to anyone, we'll see you again soon robbie and john."

Immaculate, friendly & beyond expectations!!
"Great value for money!!! For the price we paid, we expected mediocre accommodation. What we actually received was first class accommodation, excellent breakfast and the hosts (John & Robbie) were extremely friendly, proffessional & courteous!
Would definitely come back and will recommend to our friends and family.
Can't wait to see the rest of the refurbishments!!!!
Thank you for a great stay - see you both again in June!!!!!"
