"From the moment of arrival, Sue and Colin welcomed us like old friends with a much needed cup of tea in their clean, friendly guesthouse.
First impressions of the building were warm, welcoming, very clean and fresh smelling too.
I travelled with my daughter aged 11. We had a twin room at the top of the building, everything very clean and fresh (with provision of extra blankets should we need against the February chill).
We enjoyed our cereals and cooked breakfasts on both mornings, feeling well set up for the day after eating.
Sue and Colin were extremely helpful with recommendations for where to go, and good places to eat and showed real interest in their guests.
I would happily return there, and would recommend for anyone who would like somewhere clean, welcoming and friendly to stay."

"I've just had a very enjoyable stay at The Laurels where the proprietors Sue and Colin made us very welcome. The location is very convenient for the tower seafront and town and all the other attractions are in easy reach by walking or public transport. The rooms are decorated to a high standard, very clean fresh and up to date. I found the atmosphere friendly and very relaxing especially considering Blackpool is such a busy resort., I felt that the owners were very attentive to detail and have high standards. Good for couples singles small groups of friends."

"As I work long hours in a high stress job, I find having weekends away a must. This is the first time I have stayed at The Laurel's but not the first time I have visited blackpool, I found my stay very enjoyable and hope to return again very soon. Me and my partner turned up on the doorstep to be greeted by sue and colin the owners, we had not booked they had no idea we was going to turn up at unsocialable hours. They were lovely politer and made us feel so at home there was no fee for us not booking or for turning up the hours we did, at other places we have stayed there is but NOT here. We were seen straight away and made to feel as if we were the ownly people there. Every night we stayed our room was serviced everyday at no inconveniace to us, also everywhere else I have stayed we haven't been so fortunate to have such clean experiance. The hotal its self was lovely, clean, airy, and had a lovely smell all day around. I became ill on my trip and the couple were so understanding and helps with all the needs I had. I reconmend any person, group or family that may go to blackpool to stay here, as they cater for all types of cumstomers. Form start to finish the hotel and everything about the couple was professional, clean, tidy, the food was super and great sized potions. I hope everyone reading this will take note and stay at the laurels. This is not treated as a business but as an extention of thier own home and hospitality."
