"Management & Staff customer care skills are some what lacking. If you watch the Scottish Soap "River City", then you'll find the female manager looks and talks like her. She was not polite at all. Swearing and very loud on arrival and also during breakfast and meal times. Food was terrible. There was a choice of meals. Food looked good but tasted awful. Soup was cold. Main meals were lacking taste, greasy & scaly fish, "tough as old boots" chicken, cold and disgusting lasagne. Deserts simple but edible. Rooms are small but fairly clean although there was rising damp. Bed comfortable. Quilt cover and carpet stained. Clean towels. Although the Brochure states there is an en-suite shower in every room you will find this not to be the case. Everything very basic. Don't let the nice photos on the website and brochure fool you. I do not recommend this youth hostel, sorry I mean hotel. In fact, Youth Hostels are better."

"Went to the georgian from the 3rd october to the 7th with 3 of my mates and the mum and smaller brother of one of them! The week was fantastic! The staff were good to talk to especially the bar staff at nights! The four of us will be back soon without a doubt so be looking for us!"

Hotel from hell
"Website says free car parking - false as you have to park at surrounding car parks at approx £12.00 per day. Rooms: Plug socket hanging off wall in first tiny cramped musty room, room changed 2nd night to ground floor directly over nightclub - window looked out on to brick wall, shower barely worked. Food horrendous and dangerous. Both chicken and fish were warm on outside and cold in the middle, chips always cold. Waitress carried 4 or 5 plates of food STACKED one on top of the other to the tables - food on bottom plates completely squashed - severe hygiene issues. Portions very small and service extremely slow and when asked for a glass a water was told "wait your turn". Manager very rude and abrupt to those many that complained. No smoke alarms in rooms. Stairs did not look as they had been hoovered for a few days. Would not recommend to anyone holidaying in Blackpool."
