"One word sums up this wonderful family run hotel. QUALITY! Quality food quality rooms and above all quality people! Its a real home from home. Dave, Sanra and the two kids still at home, Jamie and Lizzie made us feel welcome from the moment we arrived, even Charlie the family dog was pleased to see us! Nothing was to much trouble for them and they even arranged a full roast dinner for us that we hadnt ordered until the last minute. Rooms were spotless and comfortable and we had such a great time that we have already booked to go back for the New Years celebrations! QUALITY!"

"My husband, son (9) and I stayed at the Cresta for five nights a week ago. I wanted to book somewhere that was child friendly and did not have large hen or stag groups there. I looked on trip advisor and other sites to check different hotels stumbling across The Cresta. The reviews were all really good as was the price per night so I rang up and booked five nights in a family room. When we arrived we were shown our room which was very nicely decorated and Sandra, the landlady even offered to help us in with our bags!!! The hotel is extremely clean and family friendly. It’s also well situated for the Pleasure beach and South Pier. To be honest we couldn’t have chosen a better hotel for our stay. The breakfast was lovely and the owners very friendly and accommodating and luckily like children. They have a lovely king Charles dog who our son fell in love with and tried to sneak in his suit case. We had a lovely stay and will be returning. We’d definitely recommend the Cresta."

"Wow!! We really enjoyed our stay in the home of Dave and Sandra Pass! A family run hotel - rooms were comfortable and totally adequate - we stayed two nights and with so much to do in Blackpool, a comfy bed at the end of a hectic day is great! - the men enjoyed the pool table and a couple of drinks! It was so great that being a vegetarian was absolutely no problem! - we even got sausages!!!!!! - breakfast was beautiful and it really did set you up for the day! Would really recommend staying here - basically everywhere in Blackpool is within walking distance - here, you are literally less than a 5minute walk from the Pleasure Beach!!!!! Enjoy your stay!!!(we did!) and in a year or two, when we hit Blackpool again, guess where we will stay??? - CRESTA!"

"Our family of 18 stayed for the weekend to celebrate mums 80th. Dave, Sandra and the family were absolutely amazing. Nothing was too much trouble and the food was marvellous. We would recommend anyone to stay there. It was clean, cheerful and little things like soap, shampoo etc were the icing on the cake. A wonderful family hotel with a wonderful family that runs it."

"We are a family of five from scotland and have just returned from a weekend stay at the Cresta, we have stayed at a number of blackpool B&Bs over the years and we found the cresta to be a breath of fresh air, everything was clean, modern and comfortable. Dave and sandra know what their doing and do it well, our eldest daughter and boyfriend were staying at a hotel in the next street and they were welcomed to join us at night in the bar, i know where we'll be staying on our next visit to blackpool."

"We have just come back from a weekend stay here,in our party there were 16 of us ages ranging from 65 to 5 years and we had a great time. About the hotel....... its spotlessly clean, the rooms are lovely, beds very comfy and blankets, pillowsand towles etc are also spotless. Little things like shower gel, soap and shampoo in the rooms is a lovely touch, plenty of tea and coffee in the rooms and they were serviced both days we were there.Breakfast was lovely and enough to get the day started (unless you are Andy then you buy chips for Sandra and you get a extra rasher of bacon next morning.....lol). We also had a 3 course evening meal both night and would definately recommend it, they were both very tasty. They also cooked the children different if they didnt want what the adults wanted. Plenty of chose at the bar and the prices are very reasonable. The location of the hotel is spot on, just a 2 min walk to the front and 3 mins to the pleasure beach, its in a quiet street we didnt hear any noise at all. Dave and Sandra are lovely lovely people they are proper down to earth, they like a good laugh and join in with the general banter in the bar....nothing is to much trouble. Overall i would recommend this hotel if you want a good break with good food and welcoming hosts this is the place to go. A big thank you to Dave,Sandra and everyone we met there including Charlie the dog we had a great time......x"

"after deciding to return to blackpool we thought we would stay at the cresta hotel in withnell road again having stayed their for our first anniversary. we were made so welcome the first time therefore felt it was the right choice. as soon as we arrived we knew this was to be the case. we were made to feel part of the family and they really went out their way to help in any matter. the breakfasts are fantastic and the rooms immaculate. all in all we have no complaints about this hotel or the family and would highly recommend it to other families or couples we definately will be staying their again in the near future. in fact already in the process of deciding some dates for november break.
