"What a great hotel, coffee on arrival Steve and Elaine could not have been more helpful. The double room was modern clean and bright a welcome change, because of the weather we decided to eat in at the hotel, the food was delicous, service great, and the food was well presented. We would recomend this hotel to anybody wanting a home from home, will definately stay again."

Just what we needed!
"With it being my first trip to Blackpool I was pleasantly surprised at the quality of the Arthington hotel. You hear a lot of stories about old dirty B&Bâs in Blackpool, but the Arthington is a shining example of how to run a modern, spotlessly clean B&B. Our room was a little on the small side but was really nicely furnished, with a modern, clean and very comfortable style. The room had everything that you could need including an en-suit and a flat screen free view T.V on the wall. Everything felt like it had been finished to high standard. Breakfast was superb, there was a wide selection and everything was of a high standard. We paid £50 for a double en-suit room which included breakfast and felt that that was really good value as the whole experience had a more expensive feel. Only regret was that we only stayed one night, but if I am ever heading back to Blackpool I now know where I am going to stay!"

Best Blackpool B&B you'll find
"Myself and 11 girlfriends just come back from an absolutely fabulous stay at this gorgeous little hotel. Found it by chance and managed to pursuade the very friendly owners that we weren't your typical hen party so they agreed to have us. And we are glad they did! We have stayed in Blackpool before and have experienced everything from so-so to downright scary!! The Arthington, however, just excels on so many levels - not least the price - what value!! Rooms are not massive but you don't need them to be - they are very clean and comfortable, have all the things you would want or need - clean towels, tea and coffee with chocolates and biscuits, an ironing board, TV, clean bathroom with lovely hot shower and shower gel, etc. Each room is individually decorated and Elaine (owner) has made each room very stylish and homely - the lady has some fabulous taste!! Our requests to borrow an iron, sewing kit and hairdryer were also no problem at all Breakfast was very tasty - endless tea/coffee and toast and a great choice of cereals plus a high standard of cooked breakfast. The well stocked bar and lounge area are very cosy with a large flat screen television which you are welcome to use at anytime during the day or evening. Owners Elaine and Steve welcomed us very warmly, as did their gorgeous dog Tanya! And Steve was always on hand to offer restaurant/pub/club/shopping advice if we asked and was more than happy to book us taxis and help us park our massive minibus. They even waved us off when we left - including Tanya!! It just made the weekend that much more enjoyable and thankfully we didn't make any noise to wake up the other guests so are allowed back!! And I have already planned my next trip staying there!! If you are staying in Blackpool this hotel is an absolute hidden gem which I can very highly recommend. It's in a perfect location for both the Pleasure Beach, beach and town. You'll love it as much as we did!"

really pretty hotel
"Have just returned from a one night stay at this hotel. The hotel is very clean and very tastefully decorated,I would say it is decorated in a very contemporary style. The owners are very welcoming and courteous. We usually choose a larger hotel with more facilities, but decided to try a smaller hotel. Good points. Decorating very nicely done. Very clean Food excellent for breakfast and dinner Near all attractions Bad points The room we were given was very, very small but nicely decorated, we only booked last minute, so am sure other rooms were bigger. shower area very cramped. No wardrobe, but didnt need one for 1 night anyway Very small allotted times for both meals, but food excellent"

Wonderful little hotel
"Just returned today from our stay at the Arthington (only one night). I was very unsure when booking as so many of Blackpool hotels are run down and not to the standards we like and so usually we book into a chain hotel, (but even these you cant guarantee). This was very different. The Arthington is a very clean hotel, which is our main priority. The current owners have owned for approx 18mths and have gradually been refurbishing each room with modern furnishings and linens which were very tasteful. Im not sure if any rooms still need refurbishing but im sure the owner would be happy to advise. Still have bar area to refurbish but this was very welcoming and comfortable and we dont use bar areas very much anyway. We are a family of 5 (3 children 11, 15 and 17yrs) so had a double ensuite and a triple ensuite room for the kids. Both rooms had tea/coffee making facilities and TV. The breakfast was fabulous with 5 courses, cooked or continental. Continental consisted of rolls, croissants, melon, cheese, boiled egg and ham, all brought to your table on the plate, (not buffett). Reasonably priced Hotel with friendly, helpful owners. We would definately go back."
