"We had an event planned to celebrate a number of different events in one. The hotel was extremely accommodating for us and our event - which was Classic Hollywood Night. The chef at the hotel put on a special menu specially for us themed as Classic Hollywood. We had an excellent time, and all staff were so accommodating. The hotel itself is very clean and tidy, and all rooms were very modern with access to all local facilities within walking distance. There was 13 of us staying in total, and we couldn't have asked for things to be any better. Another bonus was whilst there we met the cast of a stage show from London who were also staying at the hotel whilst there play was on in Blackpool. I'll definetly be going back and would reccommend to anyone wanting to stay in Blackpool!!"

Never fail to have a superb time here!
"This was my third stay here and it was another brilliant stay! Dan and Gav are the best hosts- whoever said Dan was rude is clearly moody. We had a Hollywood party and the whole night was brilliant- dinner was superb (I have a special diet and this was catered for no problem). The whole place is cool, clean and the rooms are very comfy. Brekkie was good- no crap and all well cooked. Can't wait to go again!!"

Only good thing was the location...found the rooms poorly decorated...
"It is my opinion that this hotel is overpriced with very poorly decorated rooms...we did not book this hotel ourselves it was booked by the organiser of the b/d party ...would not stay there again..........."

Warmest welcome in Blackpool - perfect for gay weekend
"Stayed for first time at McHalls in Blackpool . What a friendly warm welcome - Danny and Gavin could not do enough . We had dinner and lunch on Sunday too at a very reasonable price in the restaurant which was full both times . The bar , restaurant and lounge are tastefully decorated in a modern style . Could not be beaten for value , welcome and atmosphere . AND it`s right across the road from Kaos , The Flying Handbag & Flamingos - there is no nearer place to stay ! Danny is the perfect host . Thanks for a great weekend ."

"I have just spent the weekend at McHalls on a works outing, there was 11of us and we arranged to go to Blackpool for a night out at Funny Girls and came across the hotel on tripadvisor. As non of us are gay we had slight reservations. On arrival, we was greeted by Danny one of the owners and immediately put us at ease with his friendly personality and really funny jokes! The bedrooms were clean, and really nicely decorated, all with tea and coffee trays, tv and sink. The beding was clean and looked new. The shower and toilets are on evey landing and was clean and fresh. The bar area is relaxing and informal with couch's and bar stools to sit and chat on, the bar prices are ok with a good selection of drinks. We ordered a meal before we went out and it was excellent as was Breakfast, both cooked by Gavin. The hotel is perfectly located for Funny Girls and just a short walk to the bars on Talbot Square. There is parkng at the front and behind the hotel. Mc Halls is friendly, clean and inviting with Danny and Gavin giving 100 percent to make your stay is perfect ,they made sure we had a good time and looked after us really well. We enjoyed the stay that much that we going back next year and would recommend McHalls to anyone. A big thanks from eveyone! Gary Constable"

The best wee Hotel in Blackpool
"McHall's is a gay hotel run by a couple Daniel and Gavin. They offer a big welcome to thier guests in thier lounge. It is like home from home. Guests appearing at the local Flying Handbags were staying there and sent a buzz around the place. They have a wee bar in the lounge area and the patter from them adds to the fun. Breakfast is good, if you can get up in time. Very friendly atmosphere."
