"Not the first time we have stayed here..and certainly won`t be the last! Gareth is the perfect host, providing a relaxed friendly atmosphere,as soon as you step through the door. The rooms, and en-suites,are spacious, always very clean, with all requirements catered for. The "full English" is the perfect start to the day, along with as much coffee and toast as you can manage. All in all, very highly recommended!!"

Home from Home !
"We feel we must share our experience of staying at this great little hotel with others. From the minute we arrived we had the warmest of welcomes from Gareth, the Owner, and nothing was too much trouble throughout our whole stay. The room was very comfortable, well presented and with a well thought out refreshment tray that offered us everything we could need. The food was superb, the breakfast menu offered choices to please all, and the full english really DID keep us going all day, quite an achievement I can tell you, hubby & I DO love our food.....and we are really glad that we booked the optional evening meal, that too was excellent.!! Well cooked, well presented and great tasting ! The bread & butter pudding was wicked !! We felt thoroughly spoilt during our stay and would happily recommend this hotel to everyone. We had a problem with our car on the morning of our departure, and Gareth was immediately on hand to offer us all the help he could. The atmosphere within Grosvenor View is warm , friendly and comfortable. It is situated in a quiet road, but is just a couple of minutes from the bus & tram stops which take you easily to the bustling heart of the town Staying at the Grosvenor made our trip to Blackpool a VERY happy one, and I am looking forward to returning , as I am sure we will Thank you Gareth, You are a Star !!"

gem of a B & B.
"Just spent Friday to Monday at this great B & B. It is off the main road and in very quiet surroundings. Food excellent .Spotlessly clean in every aspect and nothing too much trouble for Gareth. Would certainly recommend it, and I have already done so to my friends and if in Blackpool again will certainly see if they have room for the pair of us."

A little gem
"I would definitely recommend this little gem. Although the room was not huge, the shower was quite hard to operate, and the paint was a bit peely in places, the extra effort gone to by the affable and welcoming Gareth made it a lovely place to stay despite the minor problems. The rooms had lovely extras such as a little pack of choccy biscuits, and fruit teas and horlicks as well as the more usual coffee and tea you might normally get. Breakfast was fast, hot, well cooked and tasty. A great choice of full English, or an interesting sounding omelette, and even the option of croissants instead, along with hot toast and a selection of cornflakes. I got the impression that if you had wanted anything other than that, it would not have been too much trouble to rustle it up. I would particularly recommend trying the coffee, which was the real thing, served in a cafetiere. All in all, a lovely stay - would go again."

Great rooms, great food, great location and more importantly, great host
"We booked the Grosvenor View on reading reviews on this site and also on another. We were attracted by the provison of family accommodation together with the fantastic comments about the cleanliness, food and the host, Gareth. And we were not disappointed. On arrival Gareth ensured were were parked ok, and checked us into our room. With us having a three year old who is used to his own room, we had the family suite which consisted of a double room, with an additional 'connected' room with bunk beds (This was integral and did not have a seperate door which was great for security). The rooms were warm, extremely clean and very modern. A tea tray with biscuits, big fluffy towels, bed side lamps, hairdryer, and a freeview flat screen televison were all provided (which meant that we had cBeebies to keep our little one happy and quiet!). Overall, first impressions were excellent. During the rest of the stay nothing was too much trouble for our host, from cooking snacks for our little one to taking the time and trouble to give us advice on events and attractions. Whilst on the subject of cooking, the Full English is marvellous, and a must for setting tourists up for a long day of exploring Blackpool's many attractions. Again, Gareth was more than happy to cater for our toddler, either bringing him one hash brown and a sausage or making sure that his toast was cut into EXACTLY the right shape...and parents of toddlers know, I'm sure, how crucial that can be sometimes!! Location-wise, it is perfect for those who want a bit of peace and quiet - however Grosvenor View is very conevenient to main attractions with a tram/bus stop at the end of the road which is literally only two minutes away. To conclude, we base our holidays around our little one (as most parents do) and as we mentioned earlier we were not disappointed......in fact we have already planned oiur next visit. Whenever we visit Blackpool in the future we will be sure to stay here."

Great Atmosphere, Great Location, Great Staff!
"Very warm welcome, Gareth looked after us very well all through our stay! Spaces for off street parking, great location (just a few minutes walk from the beach and trams). 20 Minutes walk from Blackpool tower along the seafront, 5 minutes by Tram!! Dinner served in the evening- Chicken was great and the dessert of pancakes was really nice too! Plenty of vegetables and gravy! Room had just been refurbished- very comfortable with all the gadgets you need (alarm clock, flat screen tv with freeview) spacious ensuite with shower. Great Atmosphere, Great Location, Friendly Staff! I would thoroughly reccomend this hotel to anyone, thanks for a great stay! P.S- Full English Breakfast that fills you up for the whole day!!"
