I had the most hospitable treatment at a cost effective price.
"The service offered was really five star, friendly and professional hosts. The rooms were neat and well organized not forgetting the privacy. The location of the facility is really so very accessible close to the main road and just across the sea wall, a very friendly and silent neigbourhood. I honestly got more than I burgained for... thanks for your superb service and keep it up."

Fantastic, Refreshing, Clean, Comfort, Triple AAA*
"You'll like it here. Now we do not like hotels much but loved it here. The hosts Audrey and George have created a super hotel, [ the photos do not give justice to the real thing]. It is situated in Blackpool South, very convenient for everything you would need whilst staying. Walk to the prom in a few minutes, restaurants and shops on your doorstep too, and all the events so close by yet The Glyndale Hotel is quietly situated away from all the hustle and bustle. No matter whether you are a group, a couple, old or young, you will find the hospitality very genuinely warm, friendly and helpful without being overpowering. The rooms provide tea/coffee making facilities and all the extra touches you would expect from larger hotels and great tv if you can catch a few minutes to watch! The ensuite is great and the shower perfect too. If you take breakfast, there is so much choice, from all cereals, fruit juices, toast and cooked breakfasts, both for vegetarian and meat eaters. The only reason for leaving feeling empty would be if you do not eat breakfast! Their waiting staff were exceptional and the food was nice and hot, cooked to perfection, well presented, and tasted so good too. Both Audrey and George found time to chat with us, and all their guests and crack a few jokes and the overall atmosphere was so light and refreshing compared to many other hotels. One other point is that their bar lounge provides a homely welcome for pre dinner/theatre/show drinks where you choose whether to mingle with the guests or do your own thing. Even after your sightseeing, a refreshing drink in their bar lounge is a welcome retreat. We all slept well, and left feeling rejuvenated. No matter what brings you to Blackpool, you must try the Glyndale Hotel. Having found The Glyndale, we would certainly stay in no other Blackpool hotel and it is exceptionally good value too. Great hotel, super atmosphere, a real gem. If more people left reviews this hotel would be much higher up on the ratings."

Excellent place to stay with a very warm welcome
"I stayed here as a group of girls on a 40th birthday weekend, some who had travelled over from Guernsey & we had a great time. The Glyndale Hotel is in a great location just off the promenade,so handy for a walk along the sea front & also for the trams. The hosts Audrey & George make you feel so welcome you will want to stay there again. On my next visit to Blackpool i will definately stay at the Glyndale Hotel. Great breakfast ,"

"Just arrived home from a fantastic stay at the Glyndale Hotel. We had a very warm and friendly welcome, the food was excellent. The rooms were very clean, warm and comfortable. I would definately recommend this hotel to anyone intending to stay in Blackpool. The location was very convenient for pretty much everything and Audrey & George were the perfect hosts. The rates were more than reasonable and we felt this is a place we would definately look to book whenever we stay in Blackpool ourselves."

lost count of the number of times we've stayed here
"we have stayed at this hotel i don't know how many times and wouldn't like to go to any other hotel in blackpool. Audrey and George the onwers are amazing and have become great friends of ours and we go up to see them every few weekends and every time we have a amazing and enjoyable stay. Their breakfasts and evening meals are lovely, proper homemade and great value for money with audreys very tasteful mash. Also you'll never be short of entertainment with george around whos busy busy busy but still finds time for his funny jokes and dressing up. ha ha ! audreys the real busy one making sure the rooms are lovely and clean to keep everyone happy. would definitley reccomend this hotel to anyone looking for a lovely stay in blackpool. see you soon audrey & george love lyndsey sharon & charlie"

"very warm and welcoming place to stay, very friendly hosts made myself and my family feel at home. great location, not too far away from the sea front but far enough that you dont hear the night time noise. absolutely wonderful breakfast. the hosts are always willing to stop and chat. i took my 2 children aged 4 yrs and nearly 4 months and george and audrey were great with them, my eldest daughter hasn't stopped talking about them since we got home. definately going to use the glyndale again next year."
