Premier Inn Ashford (Eureka Leisure Park) hotel
10 Traveller reviews from Holiday Watchdog
Really nice hotel with excellant staff
"Went here on Easter weekend having been here before and the staff even recognised us from last time (2 months after) and the service was as last time excellant. The staff here are very pleasant and friendly. The rooms are very nice, clean and presented which is what you would expect from a relativly new build on a Entertainment park. The location is also good for entertainment but is a little distance from Ashford itself. On the park are major brand multiplex cinema and a few different restaraunts like Frankie and Bennies all walking distance of course. Overall no problems at all and a lovely stay."

Another excellent example of the Premier Inn group
"The only negative thing to say about this Premier Inn is that "it ain't pretty". It is a functional building, but saying that the building is extremely well designed for its functions. Plenty of car parking space either in front of the hotel or nearby - it is on a leisure type park with other hotels and fast food places. We had a good sized room with a more than adequate en suite - another very good shower (we like our showers!). Comfortable bed, Freeview TV, lovely and clean, well equipped room overall. Great breakfast. Very friendly, efficient, and helpful staff. Very handy for an overnighter and only about 10 miles from the Chunnel, so the trip to Folkestone the next day was stressless. We would definitely use this hotel again."

Losing their touch
"After having read all the positive reviews here, I had no hesitation in booking two nights at the Premier Inn Eureka Park, while we toured around South-East England. Initial impressions were positive; the room was clean, which we expected having stayed in Premier Inns before. After that it went down-hill though. 1. The window wouldn't close completely, allowing traffic noise in all night plus banging car doors from the car park in the morning. We politely reported this to an uninterested individual on reception, but nothing was done about it and no note was left to explain why nothing was done. Conclusion? They couldn't be bothered. 2. Hotel boasted Freeview tv in each room, which would have been great except half the channels didn't work and many of the others had picture/sound break-up. Frustrating. 3. Only one bath towel provided despite two of us staying, which prompted a trip down to reception to get another one. Second day? Only one towel provided again. Grrr. 4. Used the kettle in the room to make coffee, sachets of which were provided. Second day they were not replaced so no coffee the next morning. 5. Soap dispenser in the shower ran out on the second morning. No-one had bothered to check/refill it. 6. The beds are too firm (personal opinion, I guess). 7. Another personal gripe here, toilet sheets (dispensed one at a time) instead of roll. Hate them! Had to go to nearest supermarket and buy some loo rolls! This was easily the poorest experience I've had at a Premier Inn. I expect them to be better than Travelodge at least, as they generally cost more. The beaming receptionist from the adverts must have been on holiday too. For that many problems to occur in just two nights was poor. On the positive side, the air conditioning was effective and not too noisy, and the shower was fantastic! One more thing, don't bother eating at the Beefeater next door unless you like your food greasy and over-cooked. Walk down to Frankie & Benny's (about 300yds) for a much better culinary experience and good atmosphere too."

"Fantastic stay at this Premier Inn! Plenty of parking and easy reach to and from the motorway. Breakfast in Beefeater restaurant next door, but also Pizza Hut, Burger King and other restaurants are in walking distance. Rooms very comfortable and clean, staff friendly and helpfull, reasonable price too. Would definately stay here again."

Usual high standard of Premier Inn
"As you would expect from a Premier Inn. A big room, a big bathroom, very warm, modern furnishings, good standard; all the essentials. This hotel is just off the M20 in a new leisure park, with a Beefeater next door, as well as a McDonalds, Pizza place, a cinema, Bannatynes fitness place etc. We ate at the Beefeaters next door which was very busy for Easter Monday but Premier Inn reception booked us a table. A bit pricey, but the food was great. Overall: Recommended. Positives: Excellent reception sets the right tone for the stay. Negatives: No mirror over the table in the room - not good for the ladies."

Good location. Friendly staff.
"Stayed for 4 nights while touring Kent (ideal location for Dover Castle & Museum, Canterbury, and coast). All the staff we met were welcoming and helpful. Breakfast and dinner in the next door Beefeater were excellent (good food, good service, good value). Surprisingly quiet, inspite of being close to the motorway. Pleased we found this place as a touring base."

A real suprise - a fantastic budget hotel
"I really can't think of a single fault. The hotel feels quite new, is very clean, well decorated, has a comfortable bed, good shower, friendly staff, a beefeater restaurant next door, is just off the M20 yet quiet and has freeview (compare to travelodge in the same complex which can't get even get ITV). Genuinely one of the best hotels I've ever stayed in. Obviously it's not 5* luxury, but I could really relax here."

Really Clean & Comfortable
"We initially chose this location to stay in as it was close to plenty of restaurants and as it was on a business park we assumed it would be easy to park and get on the road the following morning. We weren't wrong! It was easy to find, easy to park, plenty of nearby restaurants to choose from, we chose the Beefeater (right next door which was surprisingly fab!) and when we arrived we were greeted by a friendly receptionist and a spacious, clean, and quiet room! We had a fabulous night sleep and would definitely recommend staying here. The Breakfast was also delicious and set us up for the day. We look forward to booking here the next time!"

Setting the standard
"We ended up at this Premier Inn after finding the next door Travelodge completely unacceptable - and it was like walking into an oasis! The receptionist was delightful, the rooms were warm, immaculate and all set out ready for the children. This is a great spot if you are travelling on to Europe to break your journey - it is on a business park with the usual suspect restaurants and a good Cine-world. The room was quiet and the beds comfortable. Rooms were £59 when we stayed and really excellent breakfast at the next door Beefeater only £7.95 per adult - free for the children. Highly recommended."

Clean, comfortable, quiet stay. Great value
"Premier Inn (Eureka Park), Ashford: We'd never used Premier Inn before but we were delighted when we saw our room. It was clean, spacious, tidy, comfortable and surprisingly quiet, even though our room backed onto the road (not the M20 motorway, but an estate road into Eureka Park). Don't let that put you off because the rooms have air-con so you don't need to open the window, but when we did we still couldn't hear the traffic much. This hotel is on the Ashford Eureka Park leisure complex. Conveniently close to the M20 and Ashford. A short walk away from the hotel is a Frankie & Benny's restaurant, Cineworld multiplex, etc. We had a good meal at F&B and watched a great film. There is ample free parking next to the hotel. The room was great. The bed was very comfortable (although it was a little high off the floor!). The lighting was good, the furniture was utilitarian but fine. There was a tea/coffee tray. The bathroom was spotless. Towels are provided. The soap is dispensed through units on the wall, but the one next to the shower/bath was hard to squeeze out the soap. The toilet paper was a bit thin and is dispensed through one of those toilet paper units on the wall. These are minor comments but overall it was excellent value for money (we paid £59 for a double room, but you can get cheaper deals if you book in advance, but we'd booked the night before). At the check-in desk, the receptionist was very pleasant. She asked whether we wanted to book a breakfast at the Beefeater next door as it would be cheaper (we think they must be part of the same chain that owns Premier Inns). But we said we'd just turn up on spec. We did the next day and it was quite busy. We was pleasantly surprised by the Beefeater (new, modern decor, spacious), where you can get an all-you-can-eat cooked breakfast for £7.95 or a continental breakfast for £5.25. We had the continental breakfast, which was excellent. Overall, we had an excellent stay at the Premier Inn (Eureka Park). Don't get confused with the other 2 Premier Inns in Ashford. We'd definitely recommend this hotel. We used to use Travelodge but Premier Inns are better."
