Great value, good quality hotel
"We were visiting family and wanted a hotel reasonably close to them.
We got a fantastic deal for two nights at this hotel and were not disappointed. The location makes it easy to get into Manchester city centre or the surrounding area. The rooms were not huge but had everything you needed and everything worked. The staff were very polite.
We didn't eat dinner in the hotel, but breakfast was excellent."

"We stayed for 4 nights the room was small but comfortable. The staff were friendly and attentive. We got a deal through Menzies hotels so were staying on DBB basis. The food was good but there could have been a bit more variety on the set menu.
The hotel is conveniently located for travelling around the area,we visited Lyme Park and Bramhall Hall.We took a train into Manchester the station is only a 10 minute walk.
We would stay again if in the area."

"We stayed here for one night as we were flying from MAN the following day. Great hotel, easy to find as signposted from the main road, and free secure parking. The grounds looked nice, although it was raining heavily when we arrived so we didn't see them at their best!
We booked through lastminute and got the room for around £60.
Nice hotel, would recommend especially if going to the airport as not far away, but not an airport hotel so no plane noise."

Fantastic hotel and great value
"We only stayed one night at the Menzies Pinewood as part of a airport parking deal and it was truly fantastic.
The room was beautiful - a shame we weren't there for longer.
The bar was good and the gardens lovely, shame it was getting a little chilly to be sitting outside.
The price we paid included one night at the hotel and transfer to the airport and collection on our way back. This service was excellent - a minibus to take us very early am and when we rang to say we'd landed on our way back we were told to go to the Airport Carz desk and they got us a lift immediately.
Wonderful service and a lovely clean, modern hotel. Perfect and exceedingly good value."

the photos don't do it justice!
"This hotel is lovely! The photos do not do it justice, the bedrooms are beautiful and the garden is divine.
On top of all this, the staff are really helpful and pleasant and nothing is too much trouble.
We stayed for 1 night before catching a early morning flight from Manchester airport and I would certainly do it again.
We booked via a airport hotels website and got a great deal!
We got the hotel room and 2 weeks parking at the hotel for a bargain price, very little more than the price of parking alone.

"The hotel was just coming to the end of a major refurbishment programme being carried out by the new owners and was looking great. Despite some of the works still being carried out while I stayed there at the end of July, I was not disturbed in the slightest. All the public areas appear to have been done along with some of the bedrooms. They have managed to modernise the hotel while still keeping some character giving the hotel a unique feel. The only downside was there was no air-con in my bedroom. However on the whole it's hard to fault this hotel."

Beware, stay away ,not recommended
"Stayed there overnight expecting it to be an 'Airport' hotel. Its no way near the airport. The taxi costs 16 Pounds one way. Hotel cant arrange pickup. It is NOT a 4 star hotel by any definition.
The staff were NOT welcoming and unhelpful. Rooms were exceptionally small.
Breakfast was average."
