Wonderful 3 night stay.
"We were thrilled with the price of this B&B and couldn't fault the wonderful friendly service and super breakfasts. Room was comfortable and lovely and warm despite freezing February temperatures. Rooms were well serviced daily with ample coffee and tea! We had only booked 1 night and it was no trouble to Marco to accommodate us at the same rate for a further 2 nights. Nothing was too much trouble. Loved it and didn't want to leave! "

Our stay by ann jackson
"Not an enjoyable stay I'm afraid Marco was quite abrupt and very customer unfriendly on the phone when i inquired about parking before our arrival a few hrs later he was eager to please but to over bearing for us room was ok but extractor in bathroom stayed on for ages in the bathroom after use in the very early hrs of the morning and kept me awake needs addressing on that issue shower curtain was grubby people talking quite loudly outside our bedroom window in the evening would have stayed in London if I wanted noise breakfast was a not enjoyable experience and appeared haphazard, waited nearly 20 minutes just to be what we'd like, then we waited for breakfast , we'd come down at 8.05 am finally was eating by 8.45 not good and wasn't impressed . Then as we left we got accosted by staff on Marcos behalf of not paying and then had to show him our receipt of proof that we paid in advance online . The girls who served us were pleasant enough but the broad lands guest house is some where we will not be coming back to I'm afraid to say "

" The Best"
"The best place to stay if you want a friendly welcome and home from home comforts. All the en suite rooms are well furnished spotlessly clean and warm. The host Marco is friendly and helpful and treats you as if you more than a guest we have stayed at Broadlands many times in the last 18 years and Marco treats you as as friend and makes all his guests most welcome nothing is too much trouble. The breakfast menu has a fantastic range of choices there is something for everybody and the portions are most generous. If you want good value ,cleanliness and a friendly host this is the only place to stay at in Bourton on the water. The location is perfect not too far from the main village but in a nice quiet location in a residential area. We have just got back and can't wait to book again. Carol and Mark Allen Leicester England"

Fantastic family rooms!
"We were met at Broadlands by the friendly and cheerful host, Marco, who showed us to our family 'room'. The wrong description really, as it's more of a mini-house! You enter a good size double-bedroom with flat-screen TV and bathroom, then go upstairs to a large twin-bedded room with it's own sink. My children (7 and 8) loved it - they had their own space whilst we were just downstairs. It made our evenings easier as we could still watch TV whilst they slept, not easy if you're all in one room. Breakfast was fab, and more tea/coffee and toast was offered. The area was fantastic and perfect for a weekend break. We didn't have to use the car at all as everything is within walking distance; the Maze, Birdland, Model Village, Motor Museum, Railway Exhibition, etc. Had some lovely cream teas and a wonderful evening meal in The Chester House Hotel. Also a good meal in the Rose Tree, although it was stiflingly hot in there for some reason. We fed the ducks each morning and would have gone for some lovely walks, had the rain kept off a bit more. Bit still, a wonderful weekend, can't recommend the area or Broadlands enough."

The Place to stay in the cotwolds
"Broadlands Guest House - Marco Our host, what a fantastic time we had at Christmas, we arrived Christmas Eve for 3 nights. We had lots of fun, sleep, rest and great breakfast each morning. We spent a day with Marco out and about, what a great day that was. If you want cleanliness, comfortable surroundings, peace and quiet, good food, easy accsess to places and a brilliant host. Broadlands is the place to go. We will be returning again and again. Thank You Marco Julie Williamson"

Great place to stay
"We stayed 4 nights at Broadlands Guest House and cannot speak highly enough of it. We used it as our base to explore the wonderful Cotswolds area. We found the rooms were well maintained and clean. Marco was a great host and very helpful to us. We would recommend it to anybody travelling to that area and have done to many Australiand travelling there next year."

"Took the wife and our 3 year old to Bourton on the water for 2 nights and having read some good reviews of Broadlands (and Marco) we decided to stay here. From the moment we booked on the phone we were treated great, Marco was the perfect host and made us feel incredibly welcome. The room itself was absolutely spotless and the location was ideal as it's about a 3 minute walk to the centre and thus avoided any noise. After driving to Stow-on-the-wold and Broadway during our stay we felt we'd definately made the right choice in Bourton on the water mainly because of the river and a couple of cracking pubs (what more could you wish for) Perfect place for our daughter as there were quite a few kids her age and a lovely toy shop in the centre that she demanded to see everyday! Definately coming back to Bourton and The Broadlands next year, hopefully for a lot longer this time!!"

Excellent Guest House
"I can highly recommend The Broadlands Guest House after our recent stay. It's situated very close to the main street and the River Windrush that runs right through the village but is far enough away to prevent you being disturbed by traffic or pub goers. The room we stayed in was a suite and was large and very clean. The bed was very comfortable and it also had two leather chairs and a flat screen TV. The en-suite bathroom is small but nicely appointed. The dining area is nicely decorated as is the lounge area and the breakfast was tasty and plentiful. Marco the owner is a very nice chap and is always on hand if you have any problems or if you require information on the local area."

"We spent 2 nights here and I was sorry we had to leave. Despite being a very miserable and rainy weekend, the owner Marco brightened up everyone. We stayed in the suite, which was like having our own appartment with a huge living room. There was plenty of parking, breakfast offered a multitude of choices (or you could practically make up your own), the staff were really pleasant, and the owner was like no other B&B host I have ever met! He was brilliant, and no task was too small. I would thoroughly recommend the Broadlands and I would love to go back myself soon."

"Just returned from a weekend break, very impressed with the standard, both of the bedrooms, and the breakfast. The room we had was very clean, and all the space you need in a hotel bedroom. Nothing appears too much trouble for the owner Marco, and several of the other guests seemed to have been before, which is always a good sign. There is plenty of parking, which is good for Bourton, and overall I could not think of any bad points, and would recommend it to anyone"
