10 Traveller reviews from Holiday Watchdog
"Trinity Townhouse has a great location; right in the middle of the town with virtually no traffic to distract one. Everything was as it should be, good food, warm welome, but the star is the beautiful Georgian house. Parking in Colchester is a bit of a pain, having to park 10 minutes walk from Trinity Townhouse but don't let that put visitors off."

"I stayed here for one night with my boyfriend for his birthday and it was perfect! The room was beautiful and the breakfast was delicious. It was in a great location and the owners couldn't have been more helpful. Would recommend it to everyone and would go back anytime."

"Super B&B, nice old town house, friendly family and a very good cooked breakfast. A lovely place in the center of Colchester"

Beautiful, characterful B&B in heart of Colchester
"Good value bed and breakfast in the very centre of Colchester. Large, spacious rooms with period features and modern decor. Some luxurious touches - fluffy towels and toiletries - though the tea/coffee tray was a little sparse and fresh milk would have been appreciated. House is large enough not to be disturbed by the other guests, but did find our Friday night stay meant we were kept awake by the Colchester revellers walking past in the square below. The breakfast room is stunning but found the service very slow and the cooked breakfast, when it came, was not particularly well cooked. The selection howver was good for a B&B of this size and we could have breakfast between 8 - 10 at the weekend. Overall, I'd say it's a lovely place to stay, but avoid a weekend if you're a light sleeper!"

Wonderful, wonderful, wonderful
"We stayed here as part of our 20th wedding anniversary trip to England (we live in Colorado). This B&B really could not have been any better. The location was central, the room was lovely and modern (though the house is centuries old), and the breakfast was varied and delicious. We loved the owners; they were friendly, available and extremely pleasant. We found everything to be just great. We would wholeheartedly recommend this B&B to anyone."

Highly recommended, can't wait to return
"An unexpected gem located in a picturesque Square - central but not subject to the noise of late night revellers. The staff were friendly and welcoming. The suite was homely and spacious, with a view of the Square. Overall, a delightful find which we hope to return to time and again."

The best accomodation in Essex by far!
"I stayed at Trintiy Townhouse for a romantic weekend with my partner as I was leaving the country for awhile and had an amazing stay. Trinity Townhouse is fairly new and truly a hidden gem. I have stayed in a lot of hotels/b n bs in the Essex area and this is by far the best. The rooms are lovely and comfortable, the breakfast was delicious and the staff are brilliant! Trinity is also located right in the heart of Colchester town so walking distance from the bars, clubs and restaurants. I would really reccommend this place to anyone for a romantic getaway, business, or just somewhere to stay for a night! The prices are also very reasonable!"
