Absolutely delightful - just what we needed
"Stayed 1 night while in the area for family party. Didn't eat in restaurant, although dinner & breakfast were offered as additionals. Check in used an online/auto system & the receptionist took us through all the touch screen options, & finally it gave us our receipt & 2 room keycards. The keycards were needed to call the lifts - a good security measure. Room exceeded expectations (1st time we'd used Premier Inn). Clean, light, comfortable. Room to hang our clothes (hangers provides). Enough tea & coffee for 2 cups each. Good selection of TV channels (I'm English, but live abroad so sorry if I'm stating the obvious in some of the room features - as said, better than we thought it'd be). Room to laze around. Lots of electric sockets (6) in bedroom. Only negative was no razor socket in bathroom - our electric toothbrush needed charging & we couldn't do so. Bathroom - clean, spacious, clean fluffy towels (no face cloths). Liked the shower rail - curved out at the part of the bath where you need most room when standing under the shower. Shower curtain clean & non-static. Water pressure good, & good jets of water. Dressing mirror - I find most hotels I stay do not have sufficient lighting round the dressing/makeup mirror, but this had 6 or 8 lights in it & it was too bright, so used 3/4 mirror for makeup. Carpark - 3 levels, just along the road. Not good if it rains, as no cover. Each level has its own entrance ramp, & takes maybe 16 cars each. We had a hire estate car - not a lot of room to maneouver, & after our night out, ended up reversing down the ramp & into the only space left - painful, but better than finding somewhere on the road. There is disabled spaces right by the steps in front of the main entrance, but none of the cars parked there had disabled stickers in them."

Great budget hotel
"We chose this hotel due to its convenient location (to attend a friend's birthday party) and reasonable price. The staff are very friendly and attentive; the check-in kiosk process is very easy to use; the rooms are large and well appointed, with an amazingly comfortable bed (just like the one you see Lenny Henry collapse onto in the adverts!). The only thing we would say is to ask for a room at the back of the building if you can, as you get quite a bit of traffic noise at the front, and the windows don't seem particularly well double glazed. Being a Saturday night, there was also quite a bit of noise from the Sports Bar outside the building. Overall though, a good place to stay."

Service with a smile
"The hotel is excellent value for money. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful, the rooms were clean and modern and the breakfast is excellent. A few points - not all rooms have baths so if you want a bath, its best to phone ahead and ask for one. Also my room never really got warm enough despite it being very cold outside. I ate in the hotels own restaurant for dinner and although the food was generally good, the portion sizes weren't that substantial. I probably could have got more for my money at a local pub. Apart from this, I really can't fault the hotel. The service from the staff is faultless and should in particular be commended."

Very good for money
"My third Premier Inn in a week and every one of them was excellent. This one was supposed to be a twin and turned out to be one double and a sofa bed single, but the sofa bed was comfortable. As ever, bring your own tea and coffee if you want anything decent but it was spotless, the staff were very helpful to a rather chaotic set of guests swapping room keys etc. and staff actually took notice of a "do not disturb" sign. Staff also went out of their way to help us retrieve lost property left at a shop nearby."

Excellent in All Respects
"We have stayed at Premier Inns before and know the standards they set. We were not disappointed by this one - which I understand is in what used to be named 'Amstrad House'. The staff were excellent, not just one of them but all of those we came into contact with. Friendly and wanting to help. The food was also plentiful and well cooked and presented. Plenty of other people there at the same time and not one of them complaining. We will stay there again. The view from the 7th floor at the back of the hotel is a bonus - view all the way to Canary Wharf & City of London."

One of the Better Ones
"This is a good Premier Inn - fairly new with electronic check in and access control. Like most Premier Inns you get onloy the basics that you need for an overnight stay but the basics are very good andf just what is needed. If you can get a room on an upper floor as the hotel is in the town center."

Very comfortable, clean and friendly staff
"My boyfriend and I stayed at the Brentwood Premiere Inn because we needed somewhere to sleep to escape the paint fumes from redecorating the bedroom. Seems slightly extravagant in some ways, however it was well worth the money. On arrival we were greeted with very friendly service and dealt with very efficiently. The room was spacious, clean and the bed was incredibly comfortable. You can adjust the temperature of the room with ease and it was generally very, very pleasant. Our evening meal in the restaurant was also delicious. The pizza I had was exactly like the ones you get in Italy! Very well located, (used to be the Amstrad HQ, former residence of Sir Alan Sugar). This is located directly next to a Sports Bar which we often go to. It's not noisy though. The train station is also directly over the road, if a 3 minute walk. For a basic room to rest your head in comfort, this totally fits the bill. Highly recommend this place!"

An excellent facility
"You know what you're getting with the Premier Inn group and this is at the top of their chain. Very clean & comfortable. Helpful good staff. Breakfast was of good value and of excellent quality. Adjacent free car parking in a city centre location. We would have no problems in returning time after time if they can keep this standard up."

Very clean and comfy new hotel
"Not exactly very classy, but as far as crashing out for the night, it was perfect. We were staying because of a wedding and it was beautifully clean and very comfy. The continental breakfast was ok too."
