Good value hotel
"Stayed here on business a few times. Really good value hotel. Would describe as on a par with Travel Inn. Nice bar and reception area. Restaurant a bit small but the food there is very good. Rooms fairly good size with a double and single bed. Parking available opposite in the railway station car park. Would recommend and certainly better than some of the supposed "higher calibre chain" hotels in the area."

"Me and my boyfriend stayed at the Jurys Inn in Brighton for a short weekend away, the rooms are really big and comfy. A bit of a walk to the sea front bout 15-20mins but its nice to have a bit of a walk. Staff were friendly but had to wait till exactly 2 o clock to check in so when it came their was a quite a long queue when it came to 2 o clock, but overall was a lovely stay and nice food in the restaurant as well. 9 out of 10"

Impersonal but fine for price
"The room was nicely laid out and large with good bathroom and facilities such as large LCD TV etc. Good location also right beside the train station, however the service seemed very impersonal and very cold and uninviting entrance, and reception.
However as Brighton attracts alot of stag parties and Hen do's, the accommodation is good for price but be prepared for potentially alot of noise from nightclubbers no matter where you stay!"

New, but already showing signs of wear and tear!
"New hotel and in a good location (next to the train station).
Hotel is very similar to a travel inn or travelodge, but it is not being kept up - lift and common areas are showing signs of wear and tear.
The hotel room was small and a bit plain. Not worth the £80 a night we paid."

Great Value 3 star, better than most in the centre
"We stayed at this hotel for 1 night for work purposes but i thought the hotel deserved a review as i found it to be a brilliant example of a true british 3 star.
The rooms were more than adequate and very clean if not a little old fashioned. They had more facilities than i expected including tea and coffe facilities, flat screen tv, internet acess and a hair dryer. All the rooms and bathrooms i saw had ample space and working air con and heating plus opening windows.
The communal areas of the hotel looked lovely, very typical of other hotels but certainly not charaterless like others have said. The staff work really well and are very polite. Check in and out was also very swift.
The food and drinks on offer are also very good and very well priced. The hot chocolate was lovely and breakfast wa sa reall treat and very nice.
The proximty to the station and parking is very good and although it is a walk to the town centre this would not put me off as the quality for 3 star was better than some i have stayed in in the centre.
All in all this is a lovely, clean, spacious hotel and excellent value for money."

"My partner and i stayed at this hotel for a weekend break. On arrival first impresions were good as brighton station car park was directly opposite althogh the hotel's exterior and intertior could have ben mistaken for a lesure complex, charactorless.
Check in was good quick and efficent and reception staff were very profesional.
Bedroom was clean and tidy and quite adequte for a weekend break, beds were comfortable room was well equiped with all the usual.
Bar staff were very friendly and looked after the residence in a profesional manner althogh not always appricated by stag and hen party straglers towards the end of the evening.
Breakfast in our opinion was of poor quality. Bacon was tuff as boots and must have been reheated many times. Sausages were of very poor quality and didn,t taste of any meet whatsoever. Scrambled egg was made from powdered egg, i could go on but i think you get the idea it was awful!!!!!!!!!!!
I would sumerise our stay at this hotel as OK, it just lacks chartater, a good breakfast and a little bit of the brighton charm"

A great hotel, if a little noisy.
"After searching through many reviews for Brighton hotels we came across this hotel and were not dissapointed. Brighton hotels are usually something to be desired, over priced, dirty, weather beaten holes full of stag doos and hen parties so I was pleasantly surprised at finding this reasonably located and priced hotel in Brighton.
Slap bang right next to the train station and an NCP carpark, and just a 5 minute walk from the town centre you cant go wrong for location with this hotel. Staff were pleasant, albeit not very English but friendly and welcoming. The room was compact but very clean, bed was extremely comfortable and the bed linen didnt smell of that horrid cheap washing powder you sometimes get. Your not going to get any luxuries like free shampoo or power showers here because they implement an environmental policy but this didnt bother us. The room was very clean and comfortable and had a fairly nice view over Brighton and the downs.
Our only complaint would have to be the very thin walls. Either your going to be lucky and get quiet neighbours, we had a rather randy couple next door to us which was interesting to say the least but if your unlucky enough to get a party crowd next door to you then I imagine you will hear everything. This was the only let down to what I would consider, a very good hotel !!
We didnt eat at the hotel but the restaurant and lobby area looked very swanky and new. The hotel all in all had a very nice feel about it. I think its worth the money."

Good value short break or business hotel
"We used Co-op's Breaks to get a good value rate (£65 per night per room B&B) at this hotel for a long weekend away (Sept 08). The hotel is brand new and in an area of Brighton which is being redeveloped (so ask for a room at away from where the work is taking place - strangely, the front rooms nearest the station were quieter than the ones at the back!!). Rooms are super - clean and comfortable - shower/bath great. Don't expect a view though! Pretty handy for the town which is just a short walk away, through the station. Paid parking is available immediately opposite the hotel and was undercover and reasonably secure - I think there were cameras but anyway our car was fine! Breakfasts were great - the full range from cereals, fruit, pastries to full English. Staff friendly and efficient. Perfect for a lovely weekend away (if you're not looking for a sea view!). Enjoy!"

"I agree with a lot of the points made by Dadikins, A good hotel and location. The hotel has only been open since February 2008,so still very new. We stayed in a triple room, which was well proportioned for three people. The reception staff were pleasant. The hotel appeared to have people gearing themselves up for hen/stag nights, but there was no noise at all during the night,so well done there! Did not sample the food in the hotel, but used the plentiful food outlets nearby. Brighton itself was very pleasant and appeared to be very, very popular with young people, but every where we went we witnessed no unruly behaviour, in fact it felt very layed back.
Would love to go again."

Another great stay!
"Another great stay whilst on a business trip in Brighton.
Room was spotlessly clean and as it was a corner room, slightly larger than most.
As previously I cannot fault the location and will use this Jurys again on my next trip."

"We paid £69.00 for the night at this hotel, It appears to be fairly new so everything worked well and was relatively clean (not spotless but clean)
The breakfast wasn't great but a reasonable start to the day, to be fair at £69.00 we weren't really expecting too much.
Service was as you would expect in a corporate hotel efficent but nothing more.
I would stay again as the hotel is good value"

Good Hotel Well Positioned for Town, Beach & Entertainment
"Fri - Sun Weekend break for wife (57) and I (59). Hotel interior modern clean and comfortable. Bedroom good size with air con. Excellent breakfast. Hotel is a 5 min walk from the North lanes, 2 min from railway station and 10 min from town centre. No 7 bus from station takes you to Brighton Marina where there are shops and a good selection of restaurants. We used the Weatherspoons West Quay where prices for food and drinks are very reasonably priced. Did a similar weekend break 3 weeks ago to Bournemouth and fount it to be not the place to be on a Friday or Saturday evening whereas Brighton had the same amount of revellers/hen/stag groups but seemed to be much better behaved and less threatening. In conclusion I would thoroughly recommend Brighton and the Jurys Inn as a weekend break destination."
