"Stayed at Colson House for three nights over the Easter weekend. Stayed in the Marilyn Monroe room which was spotlessly clean. The room had tea/coffee making facilities and a TV/DVD player. Full english breakfast is provided each morning and Colson House is conveniently located for the sea front and Brighton centre. Hosts Mark and Eamon are extremely friendly and make Colson House a home from home."

"We stayed at Colson House the weekend before Valenties Day and we had a great time.

Colson House is in an ideal location and is the best hotel that we have ever stayed in.

We stayed in the Judy Garland room and it was so immaculate and very spacious.

Mark and Eamonn are great hosts and the breakfast is as lovely aas what everyone says.

We would definately stay here again,"

"Have just returned from a short break at The Colson, having booked following recommendations from other Trip Advisor members. We stayed in the Judy Garland Room, which was very comfortable and spotlessly clean. Mark and Eamonn were excellent hosts and made us feel very welcome. Breakfast was good and all in all, a good place to stay in a great part of Brighton."

"My husband had to make a delivery in Brighton and suggested staying for the week-end, great idea but i was left with the job of trawling through the net looking for somewhere to stay. Loads of accommodation that looked ok, but after looking on tripadvisor quickly changed my mind. Then i came across Colson House, checked the reviews and bingo everyone looked good. so went ahead and booked, we stayed in the John Wayne room which was small but imacculate ( which is everything to me) Mark and Eamonn are really great and make you feel at home straight away. We would highly recommend Colson House to anybody. This was our 1st time to Brighton and would definitly go back and stay at Colson House"

"We stayed for a week at Colson house and had a great time. Mark and Amon were great hosts and made our stay special. We stayed in the Judy Garland suite which was a nice room, and impeccably clean. The breakfasts were very good. We will be going back again next year - can't wait."

"Just returned from a two night stay at the Colson House - it was fab! We splashed out and booked the Clark Gable room with the four poster - it was great! The room was spotlessly clean and a decent size. The bathroom was up to scratch too with a modern shower cubicle and fresh tiles.
Breakfast was great - even had Shreddies on the cereal shelf! Mark is an excellent cook and Eamon the perfect waiter, mixing his professionalism with his charm and Irish wit!
Initially found the hotel on laterooms but booked direct as we wanted the Gable room! Maybe worth taking a chance and waiting if you are not fussed about which room you have!
Location excellent - 5 mins to Seafront, 10 mins to Pier and 10 mins into the thick of the shopping action!
Mark and Eamon are the perfect hosts. It is small enough for the personal touch, but they are not overpowering and in your face!
Would recommend this hotel / guest house to anyone!"
