"My boyfriend and I stayed for 2 nights, Debbie was lovely - so friendly and very helpful. Excellent breakfast. Very clean. Brilliant location, just a 5 minute walk to the beach. Resturant and convienient store a stone's trow away from the Guest House. We will be recommending to our friends and we will get back again."

such a nice welcome
"Normally book travelinn or similar but was recommended this hotel. Such a warm welcome from Debbie and Pete. Nice room, tea, coffeee, etc. Lovely hot breakfast, freshly cooked! . A few minutes walk from Boscombe Pier. Buses to Bournemouth not far away. Stayed friday and saturday, would have stayed sunday but they were full. Not surprised! A mixture of people staying but all were friendly, much better than staying in the usual impersonal chain of hotels. Would love to stay again."

"My partner and I stayed at this lovely hotel for a weekend break. The booking process was very efficient and Debbie and Peter are wonderful hosts. We booked the Kingsize Suite which had been recently decorated and was very comfortable. The shower was wonderful and, as many of the other reviews have said, there was always plenty of hot water. The only disadvantage is that the hotel is on a very busy road and since our room was at the front of the hotel the traffic noise took a little getting used to. However, with plenty of sea air it didn't take us too long to get to sleep. The breakfasts were wonderful and really set us up for the day. Overall a very nice hotel, ideally located as it is very close to most places one would wish to see in the area. We'll definitely stay there again if we're in the locality."

A Home from home with loads of local knowledge to share
"We received a professional although very relaxed warm welcome. 10/10 for the cooked breakfast that set us up for the entire day (and that's saying something given our love of food and being close to the sea air!). Debbie was always around in the mornings and available to ask about local venues. Not only did she always have the little brochures to hand that often had discounts for the entry fees, she could direct us accurately, tell us about the venue (eg Compton Acres) and give an accurate opinion of the venue based on her own and other visitor's experiences. She was always up to date on other local events (eg the Thai Fair) in case we fancied going along. Our rooms were very spacious, warm, clean and comfortable without being tatty. Indeed they were fresh and well maintained. There was always plenty of hot water to shower daytime and evenings - returning from the beach (something of a luxury in some small guest houses of past experience!). Boscombe is very close to Bournemouth, has a lovely beach with plenty of shops and restaurants to choose from. We found it handy for getting to Poole, Wareham and along the coast to Lulworth, inland to both The New Forest and Southampton. I visited with my retired mother and ten year old son and they were equally satisfied and comfortable as me. We look forward to staying at the Rosscourt Hotel again in the future."
