Clean friendly hotel 10/10
"The hotel is wonderful our cases were taken to our room as we were shown around. The owners are very friendly and helpful. There is a carpark 2 minutes away with cctv which we were given a pass for. Unfortunately breakfast is 8.30 to 9.15 so we didnt make it down but i'm sure it was lovely. Will definately be staying at peppers again 10/10"

very welcoming hosts
"A lounge to die for and enjoy an evening glass of wine in,spotlessly clean throughout and hosts whose willingness to do anything for you was second to none. A very good breakfast.A shame thats its right on the main road and that partition walls in the bedroom meant some sounds travelled but thoroughly recommended and a place to return to."

Torquays little gem
"I had the great pleasure of staying here most weekends in 2009. I have always had a great welcome ( despite arriving very late some times),Viv and Gary are a friendly proffessional couple. If you like a good comfortable room with a fab breakfast to start your day ,then I can truely recommend Hotel Peppers"

"We stayed for one night in the Hotel Peppers in August 2009. The hotel is in a superb location being only a few minutes walk to the town centre and seafront. The hotel itself is not close to any noisy bars so we had a good nights sleep.
There is only a few parking spaces at the hotel but an overflow car park about a two minutes walk away offers plenty of parking. The accomodation is very clean and modern which is a pleasure to stay in. The included breakfast was excellent, served in a modern dining room by the hotels very curteous and friendly staff.
If and when we return to Torquay, we will not look any further than this hotel."

Over- rated and over priced!
"The most claustrophobic room with the hardest bed i have ever tried to sleep on.Please note this is a guest house..not hotel..where they like to close their bar at about 8pm.Also,rubbish parking....we have been back to Torquay since and stayed at The Imperial..what a difference....worlds apart."

Really lovely place
"Hotel Peppers was a really lovely place to stay. The hotel was near enough to the harbour and eating places. The room we had was very clean and spacious, nice bathroom and the bed very comfortable.
The breakfast was fantastic !
The owners could,nt have been more helpfull, we were picked up from the train station, suitcases carried in for us, and taxi booked for our return journey.
Would stay again for sure, and for longer next time, highly recommended."

"very clean warm comfortable. nicely decorated. Great location opposite bowling alley so only few minutes walk to main part of Torquay. large decking area to sit out on, also have a bar area, but did not use this. very small car parking area but there is a car park within minutes of hotel. plenty of hangars for clothes and lots of storage. hairdryer provided but will bring my own next time as not very powerful! beds a little too soft for me but that won't put me off going back."

"Great location being only a short distance from Torquay Harbour. The room was spotless and the full English breakfast delicious. We will not hesitate to stay at peppers whenever we are in Torbay in the future."

Spotlessly clean, great location and helpful and friendly owners
"We travelled from Scotland to Torquay for a 60th birthday party , staying for three nights . We arrived at the hotel about 11.30am which was before the usual time to check in. We just wanted to leave our cases but the owner said to wait and before we knew it we were in our room. It was the only one that was ready but it was ideal.
The room was spotless. . It was a little small but we could cope with that. There was an ensuite shower room and toilet again spotlessly clean with lovely white fluffy towels. There was plenty of room for our clothes...wardrobe. sideboard and bedside cabinets..all nice quality. There was the usual kettle, tea and coffee and a hair dryer. What more could you ask for?
The room was at the back of the guest house and looked on to a lane with trees and below was a decking area with seats....ideal for a summer's day.
The breakfast was good....breakfast cereal; fruit juice; yogurts and of course the full English breakast...very tasty. if you just wanted scrambled egg or a boiled egg that was fine too.
This hotel is situated in a great location. Its a stones throw from the harbour and buses for Brixham; Plymouth; Paignton and many more are just a few hundred yards away , outside Debenhams.
We have relatives in Torquay and will be going back. We will certainly book into Hotel Peppers."
