"Being a returning customer we stayed in the east do cottage as we always do cannot fault the site the new complex and pool is over nice the problem now is the cottage is very close to the rear of complex and the noise from the fans is annoying also deliveries start at 5.30 in the morning which wakes up those sleeping in the back bedrooms. The other problem is the parking the spaces in front of the cottages are for people in cottages but several staff tend to park there plus people using pool which you are then fighting for a car space. Perhaps a notice letting people know who should park there would be a good idea. One of our party was a little under the weather and we had already decided to eat in Amelia's pantry that evening we asked if something light like an omelet could be served but was told no which wouldn't surely be a difficulty thought that was a bit negative considering most of the staff are usually helpful"

Swimming Pool! Woodland Zipslide! Donkeys! We'll be back :o)
"We only needed to stay one night (we were attending a wedding nearby) and had brought our tent with us. We weren't really looking forwards to camping so asked if they had a holiday home available which, joy of joys they did. Reception staff by the way were efficient, professional and very friendly.
We stayed in a Tamar, which I think is the smallest model they have so it wasn't huge but absolutely fine for the three of us and probably roomier than a hotel room would have been. The accomodation was clean and well equipped - not exactly cutting-edge but more than sufficient.
The morning after our son explored the play areas (the woodland zipslide was a particular hit) and visited the donkeys, and then later we all enjoyed a full-English by the pool.
My partner has never been keen on campsites/holiday homes but he's sufficiently impressed that we're coming back later in the year for a longer stay."

Missus Was Happy! So were the kids - Job Done!
"Bought a tent three yrs ago & have used it 3 times. Determined to use it more but weather & high standards of the family when it comes to camping has worked against me!
So this year determined to give the tent an airing early on!. Booked Cofton at beginning of June for a weekend. I've passed it on a number of occasions & thought it looked nice.
Its not far from us but anywhere different from home is an adventure for the kids.Wasn't dissapointed! Kids were kept busy with loads to do & met loads of new "best friends" . Wife was impressed with the Facilities. She does like them to be clean.
Me, I had a great time, a few pints & a bit of peace & quiet.Lovely"

Relaxing and Peaceful
"Lovely campsite, good facilities. Hard standing pitch by the lake worth the little bit extra as more secluded. Very close to Dawlish Warren. Set in lovely woodland area and you can walk over the hill int Dawlish. Would definitly go back here again for caravanning or camping. Laid back atmosphere...just what we were looking for!. Amazing value for money."

An amazing setting with outstanding facilities....
"This was our 7th time in 2 1/2 years to Cofton Country Holidays. We love it that much we now have a seasonal pitch so we can now make the most of the area and facilities the campsite and area have to offer,
We have always found the staff wherever on the park are both friendly and very helpful. The facilities are great for all ages including the fishing lakes which if you dont fish are fantastic to walk around, family entertainment, swimming pool, adventure playground in the wood amongst others.
The Pub serves lovely food and there is also a great chippy on site. There are two laundrettes and great toilet and shower facilities. We have never had any reason to complain. We know every time we go we will have a fab time."

Fantastic Value and So Much To Do
"We had a terrific Easter weekend here at Cofton and will be back. The standards are so high it was almost unbelievable. We have stayed in many, many hotels that espouse such good service but these people really know how to get it right.
The pub on site was really nice and walking down to the beach really was pretty and with well kept nature trails.
Thanks David and Elizabeth"

Loved Every Minute!!!!
"We have been to Cofton Country Holiday Park several times a year in the past , most recently camping but before that we always took our caravan. The site is set out over several fields all with fabulous views. We have ALWAYS found it a spotlessly clean site and very friendly staff and owners. The shower blocks are amazingly clean, modern & well equiped. We would recomend this holiday park to families and couples alike!!!
We have very fond memories of Cofton....and that is why we are going back this Friday for 10 days in our tent and frankly we can't wait to get there. YOU MUST GIVE IT A TRY."

"myself and my family stayed at cofton for our easter holiday, we had a fantastic stay and enjoyed every miniute of it!! The staff were fantastic and made us welcome from the very minute we arrived onsite. Obviously the weather wasnt fantastic but that what you get at that time off year!!! The location was really handy to get about to the local amenities we went to dawlish and saw the local sights it was beautiful on dawlish beach. We ate at cofton swan a few times as we liked it that much although we ate out in the week as it wasnt open all the time which was a shame. We will definatley be booking to return again and i cant wait to get back down there."

Nice, if you like sleeping in Sewerage
"OK, it was rainy on the first couple days of our camping holiday, and yes you expect to see a lot of mud, and for the morale to be a bit low but we, a family of 7 can usually make the most of it.
BUT you do not expect the stanch of raw sewerage and flooding drains into the pitch you are paying good money to stay on... where you do the cooking, eating sleeping etc..
To make matters worse, when we asked for the manager the son of the managers came out and had a complete disregard for safety or comfort of the patrons. We did not ask for free holidays, reimbursment for numerous tarpaulins that we actually had to leave behind because of the stench, or any compensation for then cleaning equipment needed for the tents, we simply questioned whether he believed what we, and many others had been rented to camp on was even safe. The answer he gave was 'yes' in a very blaze manner. No explaination or apologies whatsoever. We were all astonished, how can sleeping and eating with sewerage beneath the tarpaulins be safe for anyone??! I would say that small children who put their hands in everything drop toys etc.. could have been at risk especially. We spoke to the surrounding people in caravans/tents who experienced similar problems.
We personally will never return to the site, and we would advise anyone else to steer clear too."
