Centery Farm Bed & Breakfast

A truly wonderful place
"My husband and I stayed for one night, and wished we had been staying for longer. From the moment we arrived we felt totally at home and relaxed. Our room (Foxglove) was beautiful, spotlessly clean, incredibly comfortable, and the tea and coffee making facilities were perfect (this included bottled water, and a flask of fresh milk, none of that powdered or long life stuff). After a beautiful nights sleep, we enjoyed a lovely breakfast which included cereal, fresh fruit and we opted for the traditional fried breakfast (other options were available). I am a vegetarian, and had quorn sausages which was really lovely, as normally there is just a space where the meat should be. We had a wonderful stay at Centery Farm, and will definately go back and stay there again. It was perfect in every way. (Oh and if you get the chance, do try one of Beverly's Devon Splits. I really thought I had died and gone to heaven, it was delicious. And why you are enjoying the Cream Tea you get to enjoy the beautiful wildlife that visits the bird feeder and pond. I could have sat there all day.)"

"Beautiful location, very quite. Every little detail to make a guest feel at home has been thought of. Very clean. Also a lovely little dog to meet and greet you.

What a find!
"Wanted to get away for the night with hubby and found this place on the internet. What can I say, it was fabulous and amazing value for money. You are welcomed warmly by Beverly and Stephen and given a complimentary cream tea, all made with local produce-delicious! The rooms are tastefully done and spotlessly clean, the tea making facitlies in the rooms were above the usual standard and you are supplied with a flask of fresh milk for your beverages, not the usual UHT pots. Breakfast is spot on and you can have the full english or continental.
The farmhouse itself is delightful, the grounds are just beautiful and even the local wildlife are well catered for! The whole place is just beautiful and well situated for all of the North Devon coast.
We were extremely impressed and will definately return."

Perfect - such a warm and friendly welcome
"We have been visiting for the perfect cream tea for a few years now and decided to have night in the B&B prior to our Honeymoon last year. The welcome was warm and friendly, the rooms are spotlessly clean and well furnished, the facilities are spot on and breakfast was cooked to order - perfect."

Their welcome made us feel like long term friends
"Stopping off at Centery Farm on the way back from a trip to Cornwall, we were pleased to find an excellent and wecoming B&B. The owners Beverly and Steven Green treated us like old friends and we couldn't fault any of the facilities offered during our stay. Our room was large, spotless and comfortable. The King size bed guarantees a good nights sleep!
As well as enjoying the "Full English" cooked I believe by Steven, we also had an evening meal there on the night we arrived - good home cooked food, well prepared and plenty of it!
Unfortunatley we stayed before the tea room had opened for the season so we weren't able to enjoy a Cream Tea during our stay. Something to look forward to next time, as we will definitely be back!!"

Lovely owners, lovely place, lovely location
"My son and I were warmly welcomed upon arrival and shown to our room. This surpassed expectation - it was immaculately clean, providing everything we needed, a home from home experience. The en-suite was fantastic, didn't want to come out the power shower each morning! Towels and sheets were obviously of a very good quality.
The food at breakfast was cooked to our own liking - my son did not like his sausages too hot!!! Plenty of choice with everything fresh and extremely tasty. Nothing was too much trouble.
Beverley and Stephen are doing a fantastic job on this farm and took time to talk with us each day making us feel right at home. The location is very good for the coast with some lovely scenic drives. Congratulations to both of you and hope to return some time soon."

10 out of 10
"We have returned again having stayed last September . A very comfortable guest lounge and internet connection are now available. Hospitality and food as mentioned before second to none. We enjoy the peaceful location and the wildlife is superb as Beverley and Steve do everything to attract so many different species of birds. We will hopefully return soon. Many thanks Beverley and Steve you once again made us feel very welcome."

Very friendly owners, comfortable accommodation, lovely spot.
"We can not fault this Bed & Breakfast location. We found the owners very friendly and ones who go out of their way to make you feel welcome and at home. Very clean and comfortable room with a nice outlook and huge variety of wildlife to watch. This is a very pretty area with something for everyone regardless of age including huge sandy beaches and Exmoor on the doorstep. We are happy to recommend Centery Farm and hope to return one day."

Luxurious B&B in the heart of North Devon
"We stayed at Centery Farm for two nights whilst walking some of the South West coast path. It's ideally located, just a short distance from Ilfracombe, Woolacombe and Saunton.
Centery Farm is a stunning farmhouse with a big lake and extensive grounds buzzing with wildlife. The inside is equally impressive. We stayed in Fern, an immaculate en-suite twin room with crisp linen, a TV and tea/coffee facilities.
The breakfast is of a high standard, in fact everything is of the highest standard here. Beverley and Stephen are truly wonderful hosts who can't do enough to make you feel welcome. We highly recommend Centery Farm, a cut above the rest."

A little gem
"Spotlessly clean. Lovely bedroom with en-suite that larger than most large hotels have.
Hospitality and food great. Cream teas a speciality. Hosts Beverley and Stephen very friendly, we went as guests and came home felling we had made new friends. Cannot wait to go again."

"Annoying. Annoying annoying. Avoid! Boring. Horrible house, horrible rooms. Awful food. Didn't feel very homely. Would NEVER come here again. Have to write at least 25 words, don't want to write anymore.
