10 Traveller reviews from Holiday Watchdog
"My best friend and I had the pleasure of staying at this delightful bed and breakfast for two days this May, and it simply surpassed all expectations. Upon arrival, Kimbra and her husband welcomed us with open arms and settled us right in for an evening of warm laughter and breezy chat. They are the supreme hosts and downright lovely people who are very determined to make sure every comfort is attended to. The bedrooms themselves are pristine-- clean, bright, cozy and very easy on the eyes. Morning breakfasts are very filling--Kimbra can cook up a stellar full Cornish! The location of the bed and breakfast is a great base for exploring the sights of Cornwall: only a two minute walk to the beach and it's less than an hour's drive from pretty much anywhere you want to go. In short, staying at Beaches is what made our holiday in Cornwall truly special. It is a terrific experience that I would recommend wholeheartedly to anyone traveling to Cornwall."

Beautiful Bank Holiday break at Beaches
"This B&B was an absolute delight. Kim and Dave are so sweet and helpful, they gave us so much good advice about places to see and places to eat. The breakfast was scrummy and made to order every morning. And for those not wanting a fry-up, there was plenty of other options. The rooms were modern, fresh and bright. It was a lovely weekend all round."

Best holiday in England!
"After spending the bank holiday weekend in Newquay and not having been there before we have had the best weekend ever! After travelling down Friday and feeling quite tired, we were welcomed with a large glass of chilled wine and a smiling face. Kim is one of the nicest people I have ever met! Very warm and caring. The hotel is just breath taking with modern rooms and beautiful decor, they really have worked hard to make this B&B just perfect for a nice little holiday. The breakfasts are to die for and the 'Hog Pudding' delicacy is just delicious!!! The location is ideal and only a few minutes walk from Fistral beach and only a 15 minute walk into town. The atmosphere was so enjoyable at Beaches with Kim and Dave that we didnt want to go out! We had fabulous weather with fantastic food and company. I cannot fault the holiday at all and am so pleased that we chose this B&B and location. I think we really have found our paradise."

"We had a fantastic weekend away. Cornish breakfast was the best! Set you up for the day. Rooms were suberb and hosts Kim and Dave were excellent. It was just like visiting old friends. It was just a short walk to Fistral beach and the town centre. I'd recommend going to Carnewas and Bedruthen Steps for the scenery. Fantastic views. We'll definately be going back. We didn't want to leave!"

Our perfect short break in Cornwall
"We wanted a B+B to base ourselves for a tour of Cornwall. We decided to choose Newquay as our centre and were lucky enough to find Beaches at Newquay. Our hosts Kim and David wellcomed us on our arrival and very quickly made the first of many pots of tea. We were shown to our romm which left us speechless newly refurbished to extreemly high standards en-suite tea and coffee facilities and a flat screen tv completed the package. Breakfst was a perfect cooked to order full English which left us set up for the day.If you want a perfect location with hosts who very quickly became our friends then you need look no further. We will return."

can't fault it
"A really lovely good quality B&B. Kim and David are great, and made us so welcome but also totally respected our privacy. We went for a relaxing weekend and had exactly that, the room was newly renovated, the bed was very comfy, the bathroom was new and spotless and the breakfast set you up for the day. It was perfectly situated away from the noisey centre of Newquay and was a short 5 min stroll from Fistrall beach. Booked again as great value for money."

Fantasic Little Gem
"We have just got back from a fantastic break in one of the best B & B's we have stayed in. We have never been to Newquay before but have been told it is a great place to visit and it was - even at this time of year. It has great beaches, places to eat and things to do. It was made even better by staying is this fantastic gem of a guest house. The owners are friendly and did everything to make our stay very pleasant. The rooms are very clean and well decorated and I highly recommend the cooked breakfast which definately sets you up for the day. If you are thinking of coming to Newquay I would highly recommend staying at Beaches as it is a great place to stay and enjoy Newquay. We are definatley coming back in the summer and have already booked to stay at Beaches again."
