"we stayed her for one night our friends also stayed here in the garden room the rooms and bathrooms were nicely decorated and furnished and very clean our friends loved the garden room as they both smoke so ideal to pop out of the door for a ciggie in the garden which even in winter was inviting the people who own the b and b were friendly and helpful and the breakfast was nice.the beds were alittle hard fine if you like that but prefer mine alittle softer thats my only fault and thats just personal preverance the walk to chester is quite long and uninspiring get the bus or a taxi there is a nice place over the road for something to eat"

Great place for a short break
"A very pleasant stay at the Lavender Lodge. The room was very clean and en suite immaculate. The B & B is on a busy road so our room at the front was noisy with early morning traffic. The rooms at the back would probably be fine. The full english breakfast was very good and the fresh fruit was especially good. The bedspreads maybe need replacing as they give an overall impression of being a little tired, but the pictures on the web site certainly do not do the rooms justice.
About a 15 minute walk into the centre of Chester, and Fred, the landlady is very helpful in suggesting places/gardens to visit and walks in the city. There is a park and ride bus stop about 50 yards away if you do not fancy walking back again.
Overall a very pleasant couple of days away from work, even though it snowed!"

Excellent choice of B&B, location superb for Chester.
"The cleanliness of Lavender Lodge is fantastic. The breakfast is exceptional, fresh fruit and berries and lots more. I have a Gluten intollerence and this posed no problems. My children are dairy free and they were catered for too. Nothing was too much trouble. This and car-parking too so close to Hoole and Chester City centre made it an ideal choice."

Nicest B&B - so clean!
"We stayed at Lavender Lodge last year for the weekend and we had a great experience. The thing that always makes me nervous about staying at a B&B is that they are not always clean but Lavender Lodge was the cleanest I have ever stayed in. We received an incredibly friendly welcome when we arrived and Frederika seemed interested in us which made it even more pleasant. I would definitely recommend staying at Lavender Lodge to a friend."

"This was our second stay at Laveder Lodge and once again it did not disappoint, from parking up to driving away. There is a very warm friendliness about the place and the rooms are very comfortable. The breakfast served up was very nice and freshly cooked, set us all up for the day. This hotel was recomeded to us and we would not hesitate to pass on that recomendation,an ideal hotel to enjoy your Chester experience."

Loved the location
"Additional accommodation was needed for a family get together and I am so glad that my husband and I elected to be the ones to stay at this B&B. Its location was great, being very convenient into the centre of town whilst having fast access to the M53 to get back into the centre of Birkenhead. Our room was very comfortable and contained everything we needed but breakfast was the highlight of our two night stay and set us up for most of the day. I would recommend Chester to anyone interested in history, culture and shopping and this B&B to anyone who wants comfortable surroundings and value for money."

A lovely bed and breakfast in the beautiful town of chester
"The bed and breakfast is located not too far from this beautiful and historic town of Chester.
It is a lovely place to stay, the owner is a lovely person and makes you feel comfortable and welcomed.
The rooms are tastefully decorated and it is an ideal place for both families and singles"

The pictures don't do it justice!
"I can't stress enough how much the picture's on their site let this place down! Our stay for the Races at Chester really was great. We really enjoyed the excellent breakfast in the dinning room over looking the sun trap of a garden, and the owner Fred could not have been more helpful. The rooms are clean and spacious, and our stay really was much, much better than we antiipated for the fair price - give it a go!"

Nice,Clean and Budget Lodge at KK
"Been staying there for 4 nights. The family rooms was big enough for 4 of us and very comfortable too. The bathroom and toilets was clean. The staffs and lady boss was very friendly. They even guide us where to take the local foods and where to visit the places. They provided us a map that was very useful due to this is our 1st time to drop by Sabah. A very good lodge to stay when you are the 1st time to visit Sabah. This is a budget lodge too."

Good B&B with parking!
"Clean and efficient with good family rooms.
Not particularly cheap (paid £100 for one night for couple with teenager) but you do get a decent size room , a generous breakfast and a car parking space."
