ROYAL BEST WESTERN
"Just from a four night break at the Royal. What a great hotel - staff were brilliant nothing was too much trouble. Food particularly the breakfasts were excellent. Good value for money - great location -nice spacious clean rooms - we had one at the back leading onto the terrace which was lovely and quiet. Would definitely stay there again."

PERFECT HOTEL - PERFECT STAFF - BRILLIANT.
"I have travelled to many places in the world organising various trips for parties up to 52 people! This visit was a private "delayed Easter Break".
Staff could not be faulted with nothing too much trouble. Breakfast and Evening Dinner was superb - evidence was on return home when I checked the weight on bathroom scales!
The FREE wi-fi throughout the bedrooms and lounge areas was an added extra and worked very well.
My wife and I have not visited Jersey for many years but hope to return to the the "Royal" again soon.Large bedroom was first class for relaxing (and heating was on if the temperature dropped at all)
The air conditioned bar was perfect.
Alll in all a dream few days. Thanks to every member of staff!

"Stayed here with my mum and sister for 2 nights (we only live in Guernsey but went to Jersey to shop!). First night was awful, nice room but right on the main road and was awake listening to drunk people arguing outside a takeout opposite from 11pm - 4am (wouldn't normally mind, as its usually me that's drunk making noise but I was 4 months pregnant at the time!)...asked to be moved the next day and it no problem, got an even bigger, really quiet room at the back of the hotel. It's probably an idea to request a room that isn't on the main room at the time of booking.
The breakfast was fantastic, lots of choice, nice fruit salad and good English too.
Would defintely stay again - staff were more than helpful."

"Liked the hotel a lot, it was what we expected and even more. We stayed in a doubleroom, quite big and had a nice en-suite bathroom. The room was very clean, like the rest of the hotel. Breakfast was nice and good, but quite basic. Staff in reception was very friendly and cheerful. Have no complaints and would definitly go back to stay at the B W Royal Hotel when we go on our next vacation to Jersey."

Very Good Hotel
"Spent 3 nights in April and really enjoyed it. Requested move from 1st room as we travelled with Mum and Dad whose room was twice the size, no problem, given bigger room with king size bed overlooking the terrace which was very quiet. Staff were very friendly and helpful and as somebody else on here as stated the breakfast was unbeatable! Great choice and delicious.
Ate in the restaurant 2 nights and can't fault the food, although the choice there wasn't as varied. Highly recommended."

A great hotel in a great location
"This wonderful hotel most definatley made our stay in Jersey particularly enjoyable and memorable. The location is ideal, the room was clean, spacious and maintained to a high standard, and the staff were polite and friendly, attentive, and keen to help. The dining room is classy with an intimate feel to it and the inclusive breakfast was fantastic - lots of choice and very tasty, and served until 10:00 am, allowing the rare opportunity for a lie in. The bar offers well-priced drinks and is a comfortable and pleasant place to spend the evening. This hotel is certainly at the top end of the 3 star scale, with the little extras and attention to detail adding something special. This is a well run hotel which I can highly recommend."

Always very good
"My wife and I stayed at the Royal for the weekend. The staff are friendly and helpful. The room was spotlessly clean and comfotable. The location is perfect for access to St. Helier. The hotel has it's own car park so parking is easy. I have actually stayed at the Royal many times and I have never had anything but praise for it.
As a tip - Spend the extra few pounds on a four poster room - very nice indeed."

Great Hotel with a good feel about it.
"Just returned from a short break in Jersey. First time in this hotel but I don't think it will be the last. Friendly and efficient staff, lovely large and & clean room. On the corner of a fairly busy set of traffic lights, so it can be a bit noisy at times.
The breakfast was probably the best I have ever had, bags of choice, good quality and fresh. Didn't eat in the restaraunt as we were out and about most days. Did have a few quiet drinks in the bar, it had a nice feel about the whole place.
Very handy for town, just a 10 min stroll down the road and you are into the centre.
One small item to be aware of is that their own adjacent car park is small, only room for 15 cars in an 87 room hotel. There is however a pay & display at the end of the block."

Great Location. Clean Rooms.
"This is a great hotel if you want to be near the centre of St Helier. The main shopping centre is only a 10 minutes walk down a straight road. The staff are pleasant and efficient and the rooms are spacious and clean. Rooms at the front of the hotel can be a little noisy late at night. Breakfast was a buffet selection and was excellent. The evening meals in the restaurant varied from good to pretty poor and waiting staff were a little slow at times. The only real complaint was the fact that in the brochure and on the hotel website you are shown the conservatory where they supposedly serve breakfast and a modern looking bar area. The conservatory was closed the whole week we were there as was the bar which was devoid of chairs and tables and in darkness with no one serving at the bar itself. Apart from that not a bad hotel."

Superb hotel in a great location
"When we booked our holiday in St Helier, we had no idea we would end up at this gem of a hotel. We were originally booked into another hotel but checked out after 3 days due to the unreasonable amount of noise being generated by our neighbours and the guests above us.
From the moment we moved into this hotel, it was like a breath of fresh air. The location is wonderful, off one of the main St Helier shopping streets yet still quiet. The lobby and service is impressive and the hotel clearly aspires to achieve higher than its current 3 stars.
Our room was a family room and could not have been any better. A double bed and a single bed was provided, the room was very spacious and lead straight onto the terrace (which oddly looked over the car park), it was well in excess of our expectations. On a slightly negative side, the bathroom could have been in better condition but that is splitting hairs.
Breakfast is very impressive with a full english buffet including hash browns that our 3 year old couldn't get enough of! A special word of praise for the restaurant manager and staff who were exceptionally helpful. Our only regret was that we didn't try the restaurant in the evening although we did have room service one night which was good quality.
All in all, a great hotel which we would recommend to anyone."

Superb break what a suprise!!!
"Went expecting usual hotel dated and demoralised staff but WOW what can I say was blown away with the restraunt food and service, and ambiance very french cafe and michelin star food well done chef!!!! reception, bar staff also polite and very helpful, and in the evening entertainment superb duo they gave a feeling of friendship, family and fun pleasure to be in there company, not outsider as some places can make you feel. The only missing was air con as i get hot (lady thing) but all was spotless, in fact it was so good going back next week for another break."

A good place to stay in Jersey
"If you want to be in the hustle and bustle of St.Helier (there's really not much!) then its a good location.
I had a place to park the hire car, the room was a bit small, I ended up staying an extra night and got moved to a much bigger room for not too much extra money.
I guess the hotel wasn't that busy - it was good value for somewhere between £52 - £57 a night including a great breakfast.
Staff were friendly, rooms were clean - although it is a bit noisy if you are on the front or side of the hotel. I was at the back for my final night and it was much quieter.
I'd happily return to this hotel!!"
