Excellent value for money
"This was my second stay at The Beausite and I will certainly visit again. The Staff are friendly and helpful --nothing is too much trouble and the food is excellent. The car park can be a little tight for space if you are driving a large car"

feels like home
"When we arrived they had made a dinner for us and we went to our room which was very comfortable. The staff were very friendly and the food was good for half board, there was a good selection. the lounge felt like you were at home when you sat in it.The pool was nice and it was a good alternative if you didn't want to go out or the weather was bad. I would reccomend this hotel to anyone wanting to stay in Jersey, althought i think it is best suited for families. At the end of the holiday i didn't want to leave and i hope i can go back this year."

Hated the Restaurant
"We stayed at this hotel for a week. The Restaurant was unbearably hot. The staff moved us near a window, but we had to take the very early sitting for dinner as we still could not stand the heat later in the evening. We were served the worst cup of coffee we have ever tasted. Requested, hard boiled eggs were served with the white runny. The food was unimaginative and sometimes cold. Strangely, although sunbeds are provided, no mattresses were available, so pillows and cushions were co-opted. Our garden view room was dark. Parking can also be a problem, with insufficient spaces for all guests. We were without hot water on three occasions. On one occasion were were served filter coffee in plastic filters, but when we pourd on the "water" we found it was tea. Staff are pleasant, but that does not make up for the very sub-standard three star offered here. We complained to Premier Holidays, but received no satisfaction. J.Knight"

Good Value -nice hotel
"Stayed here for 3 nights in October 2006. Very impressed with hotel - staff very friendly and helpful - room very good. Had dinner in hotel for two of the nights - food was very good and excellent value. Bar prices were reasonable. Didn't try the pool but other guests who did said temperature was a little on the cold side. Overall would highly recommend this hotel."

Down Memory Lane, Beausite Hotel in Gorey, Jersey
"We love the Island of Jersey and returned to this hotel after some twenty two years; although the hotel itself was much bigger and now with an indoor pool complex our stay there in early May could not be faulted in any way, just as good as our memories; clean and quiet room, excellent food and friendly and helpful staff. We are looking forward to returning next year to enjoy the many coastal walks and would thoroughly recommend it"

Relaxed and satisfied Seals
"We have just returned from staying at the Beausite Hotel Apartments. We had the leisure facilities available to us and enjoyed the jaccuzzi and swimming pool. The staff were always smartly dressed and courteous. The apartment was cleaned every day. We had two meals in the restaurant and were very impressed with the service. Altogether a relaxing holiday . As I have a bed and breakfast guest house near Cardiff in South Wales I appreciated all the effort that goes in to making guests welcome and comfortable. I think my only criticism would be that so few of the staff had only limited command of the English language. Only two minutes to the sea. I would be interested to know the route if this is so. We will visit again. Deanna and Malcolm Seal"

The brilliant BEAUSITE HOTEL.
"My wife and I have stayed at the Beausite hotel in JERSEY every year for the past ten years and we have had no problems with the accomodation or the quality of the food in all that time. The gardens are kept beautiful by Chico (restaurant manager) and his wife. During the time that we have been going to the Beausite the staff have been very attentive, friendly and helpful at all times and have become very good friends of ours including Miss Andea Gregory (hotel manager) Chico (restaurant manager) Carlos (resaurant staff and mini coach driver) Paolo (barman) and all of the other staff involved in the efficient running of this beatiful hotel at GROUVILLE. In our opinion it deserves the 3* RATING. I have photos of the hotel which I will post on this site at a later date. We are planning to go back there at the end of September. Would highly recommend this hotel to anyone. Note:- The Beausite hotel has now purchased the empty pub (Grouville Tavern) behind the hotel and turned it into first class self catering apartments and all of the fitting out of these was done by Chico (restaurant manager) to a very high standard and are highly recommended, they were being booked even before they were finished during June2006. Very poor value for money!
"Booked the Beausite on the basis of previous reports, but found the hotel to be dated and poor value for money. Room was large and clean but needed modernisation - part of the dorma window didn't have any curtains and was covered with cot sheets! The bathroom was adequate but the over the bath shower temp fluctuated in the mornings..... not a pleasant experience. At breakfast on the first morning we were moved halfway through the meal, and weren't permitted to sit at a window, as tables were allocated for your stay. The food choice for breakfast was limited between served cooked English and/or cereal, ham, cheese, tinned grapefruit segments or tinned prunes and fruit juice. These factors led us to dismiss the hotel for an evening meal option. The staff were generally dour but the receptionists were pleasant - and check in procedure was swift. The saving grace was the pool and sauna rooms which were good and well maintained. On the whole, one of the worst hotels I have stayed and does not merit a 3* rating. I would not recommend the hotel, unless you are looking for something other than a basic no frills hotel, or a '70's theme weekend at a price!"
