"I don't know why more Brits don't stay at this hotel. The gardens are gorgeous and lovingly cared for by a team of very courteous gardeners. The hotel staff are all very friendly and love to practice their English with the English speaking guests. We have never been to a hotel where the waiters and entertainment staff have made such a fuss of both our two children and us.

The whole hotel area is immaculatey clean including the toilets. The Accommodation blocks which are set within the grounds are so pretty and practical inside. The bunk beds are a great option if your children are not used to sharing a double bed, which, lets face it, who's kids are these days?

The Haman is very expensive but we went for a turkish bath arranged by our rep and it was both friendly - the massage to die for - and reasonable.

The food is varied and offers something for everyone. My only critism would be a lack of labelling on the buffet - but otherwise it was great.

In summary this is a well run, beautiful but also very friendly hotel. This rubs off on everyone who stays there meaning that even if you don't share the same language you can all get along together fine. So come on Brits - try out this hotel - don't leave its delights to the Russians and Germans"

"What a fantastic holiday such friendly people with big smiles and very happy to speak English. we had a twin room which was great air conditioning was great, freshwater (bottle) every day room service 5 stars. the food was very good great choice. and if you can get a table at the fish restaurant go for it and say hi to sizer the best head waiter you will ever come across, just say mini nip and see him smile. the animation crew are just great fun even with the pigeon English great bunch of guys ( just ask for Mr pink)

the only down side and it is very small is the amount of British people but on the up side its really nice no yob element and the fact there is so few of us it means you make some really good friends. so if you don't mind a few hidden extras ( air con control and safe oh and tennis f you play take your own racket or you will be charged mad money) go for it have loads of fun and go for a Turkish bath i promise you it is fantastic but do the one your rep recommends, in the hotel this is expensive and one last thing don't and i mean don't get your picture taken by the camera guys unless you don't mind page 3 pics. overall 9 out of 10"

and i was 11 at the time an i remember that i got drunk because thats right the stupid german speaking bartrenders give away vodka to 10 year olds. the activities were fun like on the banana boats and the parachute thingy but why was the food so rubbish it was like eating cardboard we couldnt get to sleep because the air con was broken and it was too hot so we had to sleep with the balcony door open which intern lead to little bugs and mosquito type things coming into our room and biteing us it was by far the worst holiday anybody could wish for and i do not recommend going there."

"Well what can I say! I read all of the reviews before going and I thought our family was in for a great holiday - this did not materialise.

The air-con was very poor, leaving the fridge door open would have cooled the room more! Apparently it is centrally operated and the only time the room seemed to cool down was between midnight and 3am.

The food was very poor, there was very little fresh fruit and vegetables were either covered in cheese or oil. Meat and Fish was also of very poor quality - expect lots of liver!

The Jacuzzi never bubbled so that advert was a little misleading.

The water slides ran from 10.30 - 12.00 and 2.30 - 4.30 - it never said that in the brochure!

The beach is not private.

There is a charge for the hire of tennis rackets and balls, and for the billiards for the billiard table (also watch this as the hire is for 1hr but our kids were asked to leave due to closing before the hour was up!).

Most of the staff are very friendly although some were very rude!

The restaurant was very smoky, although there is a no smoking area there were never any tables free. Getting a table was also a nightmare and the restaurant is quite obviously not big enough to cope with the number of guests.

If you want a sun bed you will have to be up at 5am to beat the Germans and Russians! Although according to the hotel, reservation of sunbeds is not permitted before 8am - noone bothered to enforce this.

The positives were the friendly staff and the hotel is clean but unfortunately I can only think of those positives!

"We were not very impressed with this hotel, I can't understand how the people that had made comments before our's said it was so wonderful i.e. the food, the staff, the accommodation, the entertainment.

Lets start with the food, well I have never seen such unappetising food (if that's what you call it). We are not very fussy people and have been to Turkey and many other countries before, but the food at this hotel has got to be the worst that we have had so far.
To be fair the beach bar was better than the main restaurant, but after having Turkish pizza, chips and salad for two weeks for lunch it does get very boring.

The hotel clearly made the Russian and German guests top priority little English food was available. Now this leads me on to the staff, many of them did not speak English but all of them spoke fluent Russian and German. This made it very difficult to ask for anything even drinks.

We found there whole attitude towards us very unwelcoming. At reception there was only one lady that could speak English, but we don't think she really understood what we were talking about most of the time, but she kept saying “I understand " but she clearly didn't.

We had asked to be moved when another room became available, as our air con didn't work but we were not offered another room for the two weeks we were there even though people were going and coming all the time.

The entertainment for the children i.e. disco was the same every evening as in routine and the rest of the entertainment was very boring i.e. bingo in 4 languages, English not being very good and being the longest game of bingo that I have ever played.
The animation team tried not to talk to you very much so they didn't have to speak much English, this made us feel very unwelcome, especially as they used to stand and chat with the Russian's and German's for ages.

The accommodation was very basic for a "4 star" hotel and we eventually found out why our air con didn't seem to be working; it was on a timer which they controlled. The times being 7.30 am to 9.30 am, 4.30 pm to 7.00pm then 9.30pm to 12.30. When we were away the temperature was the hottest that it had been for 75 years in Turkey and as you can imagine it was a big culture shock from leaving England, there was no escape to your room from the heat during the day and you had to make sure you were out of your room by 7pm in the evening as your room turned into a sauna. This meant that your holiday was being spoilt, because it meant you had to keep to a time schedule, this also included the sun beds if you didn't get to the pool at 6am you had no chance of getting one.

This really spoilt our holiday as this is the time we normally get up at home. It was a shame, as the hotel as in where it is situated on the beach and the upkeep of the grounds and the rooms were good. But the rest of the above let it down tremendously.

If you have already booked your holiday and are reading this, go and say hello to Yilmaz one of the photographers (he can speak English) and let them take your photo, as they are very good. If you are thinking of booking this hotel I hope you read this before you do!!!!!!

"The Taylor family were at Club Pacific in June 2006, it was our 2nd visit & was just as good as the first.

The hotel is spotlessly clean, and the gardens are beautifully kept, the staff are all very friendly & helpful and all speak a good standard of English.

The food is of a high standard, and there was always plenty to go round. The beach bar did mainly chips, pizza etc, and was as good as the main restaurant.

There was always sun beds to be had any time of day, either on the beach or at the pool. Uhr and his animation team worked tirelessly to make sure you had a good time.

The pool games were always good for a laugh and everyone joined in for the "club dance". The disco on the beach wasn't very busy when we were there, but you have to pay for your drinks down there after 11.30pm!

Overall a 10/10 holiday & we are making plans to return in 2007.

Ps...There is a great kebab stall & restaurant just 2 mins walk out of hotel. Also a small market!!"

"We stayed at this hotel in September 2006 and can honestly say that we had the best holiday we have ever had. On arrival we were greeted by a friendly English speaking receptionist who quickly checked us in as we were a night flight arrival with two children aged 4 and 6. We were then offered a freshly made ham & cheese baguette and were taken on a buggy cart with our cases to our room. The bell boy stopped at several points to show us where the restaurant, pool was etc. The room was quite sufficient for our needs with a good sized bathroom with walk in shower, we had two single beds and bunk beds for the children and a balcony overlooking the stunning private sandy beach.

When we woke the following day we made the short walk to the main building for breakfast served between 7.00 to 10.00 and here were warmly greeted by friendly waiting staff. There is no full English breakfast served here, however there is an excellent range of fresh breads, rolls, croissants, jams and spreads, cereals and always someone cooking a different food everyday, for example pancakes, scrambled eggs, omlettes, boiled eggs, there was also a toaster.

The hotel pool was beautiful and really clean, there was a children’s area which was an ideal depth for small children. The sun beds were always available no matter what time of the day you arrived at the pool, although we were here at the end of season this might vary in the summer months. The beach also had plenty of sun beds and is only a short two minute walk through amazing gardens. There is also a beach bar serving drinks and hot snacks although we found the food rather cold down here and a lot of flies so we tended to eat in the main restaurant but the beach bar was fine for drinks if you were on the beach. There was a kids club run by Biggy, a girl who could not do enough for the children, most days my children were the only two in the club but it was good for them to have an hour out of the sun and for us to have an hour relaxing.

Hussein runs the animation team who will ask you to join in with games such as bowles, darts, water aerobics, shooting, but if you want to just relax they do not pester you. They also run a kids disco in the evening followed by a show which was rather cheesy but fun. The beach bar also turns into a disco bar at midnight until early hours although with small children we did not go to this. Once a week a live band play and there was also bingo one night.

The lunch served 12.00 to 2.00 and Dinner served 7.00 to 9.30 in the main restaurant was fantastic, always several different meats in sauces or freshly grilled, rice, pasta, chips, a huge salad bar, soup and bread, you would never go hungry here and the cakes were amazing. The children always found something they liked but do not expect burgers, chicken nuggets, this is Turkey and they cater for mainly the Germans, Russians.

There is also a seafood restaurant which you can eat at once in your holiday free of charge, which was amazing and we actually went twice. Sezer the head waiter is fantastic and if you make an effort to speak to any of the staff they will bend over backwards to make your holiday.

During our stay there was only around 8 English families and only a few English children and the rest of the guest were mainly German, although we met, French, and Russians too.

We also paid £20 to have a full Turkish bath, body massage and facial this was the best £20 I have ever spent.

I would go back to this hotel without hesitation, the only slight negative we experienced was the beach bar snacks and this could have been the time of year we traveled as the hotel was quiet. I would give this hotel 9/10 please do not be put off by negative reviews you have read."

"This hotel was lovely, staff friendly, polite and whole hotel and grounds very clean, lots to do for kids and food was lovely, I worried as my children were picky eaters but they ate loads.

We went on a couple of excursions, Antala shopping trip which was ok but I had dodgy stomach and spent most of my time in loos. We went to Manavagat that was great for haggling. Beware if you go on the shopping trip to the leather place and jewels place as they have every intention of trying to sell you something, they will not leave you alone until you have brought something.

The beach at Club Pacific sort of went down in a dip so beware if you have children, the snack bar on the beach was handy and served up some lovely pizza strips and pasta, and was right on beach so you didn’t have to venture all way back to the resort to eat.

The entertainers were good with the kids, they love the English children, Hassain is a bit of a pain in the butt, his voice travels around the whole of the complex and after the first week it kind of grates on you!

I would defiantly go back again and would recommend this hotel to anyone, we were also very lucky as or room overlooked the beach and swimming pool and was right near restaurant...lovely!.

"I don’t think that the sizes of the apartments were suitable for families with children. The facilities were great; there were plenty of water sports on the hotel’s private beach.

The dinner in the lower restaurant I found that it was the same every day and the same in the upper restaurant.

I don’t think that the food was very suitable for children and I couldn’t have managed living in Turkey. In the local area there were a lot of markets and restaurants. The staff members were very polite and were good with little children and in the bar the staff were great when serving drinks. During the day there was someone there who was making pancakes, which all the people enjoyed, and in the late afternoon there were cakes being served.

Discos and entertainment every night for the kids, and then disco for adults afterwards. The entertainment team were fantastic during the day and night for both kids and adults and really got you involved. Slide for the kids to play on and kids club as well.

Private section of the beach, and food hut there too so you don’t have to go back to the main section for food or drink. Overall 10/10.
