Just OK for me
"Having read the reviews for the Perissia we were understandably excited about our stay. The room was great and in the main the staff (especially in the buffet restaurant) were excellent. However as the week progressed the food became monotonous and drinks generally were questionnable, avoid at ALL COSTS the locally produced vodka, brandy, etc.
It also became apparent that whilst we were on all inclusive some of the other residents (you guessed it - the germans) were on ULTRA all inclusive and entitled to a variety of other drinks stored in a secret cupboard underneath the bar. The barmen themselves obviously found the situation embarassing with the way they poured the better quality booze (by stealth under the bar !) Honestly it was laughable. Food at dinner was usually whatever was left from lunch with a bit of a spin (the number of ways the meatballs appeared, each time tasting more & more salty and burgerish was very inventive). In the end we were glad to get home. To sum up - yes cracking staff and good rooms but 5 star......not for me."

cheers to the animation team
"Well what can I say, this was one of the best hotels I have ever stayed in. \It is difficult to find a fault with this hotel. We had a wonderful time. Food, entertainment, staff and the bedrooms were fantastic............. I never use that term lightly.
Top marks for this hotel and would not hesitate in booking again

"Booked through Thomas Cook and what a fantastic Holiday it was for my Wife and I. First time we have visited Turkey, and would certainly come again. There is nothing that we could fault.
If you like Massages the european way (simply skin and a towel), then you will not be dissapointed. Make friends with the waiters and you will be looked after - "Hatice" (pronounced Hat-idg-ee) is a really good waitress who always remembers what you drink and has a smile to light up your day.
If you like sunsets, and have a digital camera, take it along with a tripod and enjoy some wonderful results.
What can I say - Enjoy."

Exelled in all aspects
"I have just got back from this fantastic hotel and we are trying to book to go back in july.I went with my girlfriend i am 20 and she 17.The hotel guests were prodomently German but dont be put off by that because its not true that ALL of them are stuck up and arrogant although a lot of the older ones are,we found them easy to mix with and a majority of them spoke realy good english. There wasn't much activities to do on the hotel grounds with it being out of season which we knew from reading the broshures but they had an animation team who were excellent throughout our stay. They held a show every night apart from sundays they were only short sketches but very humorable. We were promised in the summer there are a lot more things to do and the shows get better and are longer. The food was very nice in the main restaurant i was having two meals and a dessert every sitting because i didnt know what to choose (im not even big i weighed only 10 stone when we went and i think i must be pushing 11 now).We tried the two al a carte restaurants which were open the Turkish and Italian which were both very dissapointing there was a set menu well choose between two things. This was the only dissapointment which we experienced during our stay. All the staff in the hotel recepcionists, waiters, bar men, cleaners and animators were all polite, friendly and helpfull. We would definately recomend this hotel to everybody old, young couples and families and we are definately going back."

"We have been to Paloma Perissia 2 times and it was a wonderful experience. the 1st visit was for my 17th Birthday last Febuary, the satff was very outgoing and very friendly to me and my Family. the second time we went was in October 2007 we got a lovley warm welcome as they remembered us from febuary. we had a beautiful room, overlooking the pools and the beach. The weather in Febuary was quite warm and in October was hotter but bareable. As we liked it so much we are going back to Perissia again this year for 10 nights in July 2008 and we are very much looking forward to seeing our friends that work in the Hotel. Myself and my Family can`t wait to go back to Perissia as we have told our friends who live in our country to go and have a holiday in Perissia. The hotel is very clean to a very hight standard as you would expect for a 5* hotel all inclusive. Me and my Family enjoy it that much we want to keep going back to Perissia. we always keep in contact with staff either via telephone or email"

Lovely hotel Terrible flights
"This really is a fantastic hotel and does exactly what it says on the tin.
Comfortable rooms(although all the TV was in German) Exellent facilites and great food.
The only complaint that i have was that some off the Waiters in the restaurants were very over familiar to the point where they made me fell very uncomfortable they will misconstue any attempt to be friendly as an open invitaion to be touchy feely and inappropriate,To the extent that we avoided parts of the dining room and one particular waiter that got quite creepy and would turn up whenever i was left on my own and make really suggestive comments and would not take no for an answer.
However,The hotel as a whole was great and i would go there again albeit more aware.
The flights however are shockingly bad if you fly with Thomas Cook due to the fact that they arrived last in Turkey they have to worst time slots.
We had the forsight to extend our room till 6pm(the latest that you could)but our pick up was not untill 2am the following morning(mon) and there is no enetrtainment in the hotel on a sunday making for a very long evening.Although our AI lasted until we left. But still a really long uncomfortable wait,so unfortunately i think this will stop me form ever going there again.
My advice is goe to Sharm the flights are better,The Hotels are just as good if not better, the food is pretty much the same and the waiters are more respectfull."

"Where to start.....?
The Perissia isn't a huge, concrete block hotel. Despite having 900 bedrooms, it has the air of a small, high-class boutique hotel.
The reception area is stunning - beautifully decorated and in immaculate condition with the smartest, friendliest staff I've come across for a long time. They knew our names as we checked in, gave us all the information we needed about the hotel, and remembered us for the whole of our stay.
The bedroom was superb. Big, spacious and perfectly clean. We had 2 beds, a sofa, armchairs and a coffee table - and a balcony overlooking the pools and the beach. The bathroom was clean, linen was plentiful - and there was a huge amount of storage space in the bedroom!
Even in January we had a massive choice of restaurants. The all-inclusive package meant that there was always something open: breakfast, late breakfast, lunch, afternoon tea and dinner. There were two A La Carte restaurants available - one Italian and one Turkish. We ate in both on our All Inclusive package with no problems at all, even though we only stayed 4 nights. Both were amazing - the food, the style, the service and (especially in the Turkish restaurant) the authenticity were all outstanding. The all-inclusive restaurant was also of a high standard: there was plenty of food, plenty of choice, and great service from both the drinks waiters and the chefs.
We loved the quiet library (complete with books in 4 different languages) for tucking ourselves away in on a wet afternoon. The Turkish hamam was fantastic - and included in the package. The indoor swimming pool was spotlessly clean and very warm - perfect for a lazy day. The bars catered for every taste; the in-hotel seating areas were calm and comfortable; the outside pools were beautiful, clean and serviced - even if it was a little too cool to use them!; the beach was on the doorstep; the entertainment was varied....... ...I could go on!
The only complaints we have are that the standard of room service was disappointing. Our room was tidied each day rather than cleaned, and we expected more from a 5* hotel. Also, it took us ages to find the hotel when we arrived - but we'd travelled independently, and that wouldn't be a problem if you arrived by taxi or tour bus.
Overall, the Perissia is a fantastic experience. We loved it - and we talked to plenty of other guests who loved it just as much."

Loved This Hotel Will Go Back !
"WOW where can you start on this impecable hotel. 5 Star quality, service, rooms, food, staff, animaters all trained to a very high standard. We went for Christmas with my parents, and 3 young children under the age of 6. We all (especially the children) were treated with kindness and respect. You asked for something and you got it !
The swimming area was closed due to the pools not being heated, which was a shame as they looked divine to jump into from your room balcony, you had the indoor area which was a little too small. We took a superier room which was great as you had a great view of the sea and of the 3 swimming pools.
The Hotel is clean to a high standard, except the rooms could be cleaned properly, we found that we had to nag the reception to ask for shower cap, or shampoo. Mini bar (fridge) was refilled each day to our delight.
I will certainly return to this hotel as I don't think I could find another to the same quality. 10/10 for everything and thank you for a memorable time for me and my family !"

Absolutely loved the Paloma Perissia
"What an amazing hotel and holiday. I had one week of absolute bliss at a hotel which understood the meaning of the word "Service". From the front reception staff to the waiters everyone wanted to help. Something you may not know from other reviews is that the themed restaurants which you need to book for have the same menu every night for the month so eating twice at one of these can be a bit much. However there is a huge a'la carte restaurant where the chefs cook in front of you (for certain dishes) and there is ample choice.
If you go here, you will not regret it. We booked through Thomas Cook and got the best deal but shop around."

Perfect stay in an excellent 5 * hotel with friendly staff
"We have visited this hotel many times and each time we feel as coming home. Each detail will be checked by the complete management. The rooms have been refurnished and they look very nice. As always, in the main restaurant the food was excellent and could not be beat for the variety and the taste. You really need to visit a à la crate restaurant. You can walk along the seaside on the promenade. A beautiful hotel to visit. "

"We have stayed at the Sentido Perissia for the last two years and have had an amazing first class holiday both years. We consist of myself, husband and two sons aged 11 and 13. The hotel is kept spotlessly clean and staff are always going round cleaning both inside and around the grounds and always collecting litter.
Tolga and Murat the managers along with every member of staff work exceptionally hard for very long hours. Despite this they remain professional but are so incredibly friendly. Nothing is too much trouble for any of them. Special thanks from our family go to Adil in one of the many restaurants for being so kind and sincere and treating our family so well.Habip in the avenue bar, Murat in the Bacchus bar and Ibrahim in the avenue bar who all remembered us from last year and went out of their way to ensure we had a great time. Also Abdullah our waiter who was lovely and even took us on some trips in his taxi. Lastly we must mention Nuh who works in the restaurant, Sandy Beach and on the beach, doing many jobs. Nuh was fantastic at his job and so friendly and smiled all the time. All these staff have become like a second family.
This hotel also has the best animation team ever who keep the guests entertained all day. From activities during the day by the pool and on the beach to providing stunning shows in the evenings. Each and everyone of the team deserve a mention. Hakan, entertainment manager who preofessionally leds this team of wonderful warm friendly people, Oksana,Giizzmmoo,Yazuv,Natalia,Natailya,Emrah,Andrea,Ozge and of course the super Suleyman.
The food and drinks here are first class you will never go hungry.
This hotel really does pull out all the stops to ensuring you have a fantastic holiday. Never have we been more upset to leave a place and be still wishing we were there. We are looking forwrd to hopefully returning next year as we dont think anywhere else can match up to the Sentido Perissia. Well done to a great hotel."
