"Firstly I would like to say ignore bad reviews, this hotel is a little jewel and the staff do it proud! I can not believe some of the reviews, what a load of rubbish they are, this is basic, clean and friendly accommodation, right in the middle of olu deniz not to far from anything, the rooms were cleaned everyday, food here is lovely! Yes you do get a continental breakfast but there is absolutely nothing wrong with it, fresh bread, cheese, eggs, cereal, if you want English food then go to Blackpool for a holiday, people who put bad comments because of that are just ignorant, there were plenty of sunbeds everyday but going to the seahorse beach and blue lagoon are a must so so beautiful, the town of visor any is a 5min bus ride away for those who want the extra nightlife, although rosé bar is good fun, we enjoyed sooo much were going back end of may 2013 can't wait to see you all again at the magic tulip"

So good I have returned four years in a row
"The hotel is basic but clean and the staff are very friendly. I first visited the hotel with friends four years ago and have returned every year since then (which speaks for itself). I love Turkey and its the people. There are numerous very good restaurants in Oludeniz - Turkish food is delicious and the bread is to die for. I cannot agree with the comments about breakfast at the hotel. I loved the cheese and olives. When in Rome! Provided you are not looking for luxury I would thoroughly recommend the Magic Tulip. We visit early in the year - April/May before it is too hot when the season is just beginning and the swallows are nesting above the bar. Savouring a gin and tonic, with a twist of lemon freshly picked from the garden, whilst watching the swallow flying back and forth feeding its chicks - bliss! "

"hey people, stayed here a few years ago with a friend and we loved the hotel and place.. only reason I've not been back is because I'm back in Australia.. you need to remember your in a tropical paradise and it does get hot and sweaty so there is problems with mould and flies.. if you want to avoid this problem stay in England! because you may occur the same problem here in Australia.... missin all you guys at the Tulip.... "I stayed at the Magic Tulip for 2 weeks and didn't have any problem while there. The staff are friendly and always say hello and are up for a chat. There are always enough sunbeds and room in the pool, which is a good size. The hotel is also in a great location, very close to the shops and a short walking distance to the beach! The only negative I would say is if you like peace and quiet I wouldn't pick this hotel. There is constantly music on and if you are one for sleeping in silence, this is very unlikely! "

"absolutely lovely staff, (jason & jack) 2 wicked bar tenders. would recommend this holiday/ hotel to couples aged 19-70. everyone we met were lovely, rooms were fantastic, cleaned every day with roses layed on the beds lol. bathrooms were to an excellent standard by any rating "not what we expected at all" very relaxed atmosphere. would recommed quad biking and dalyan river excursion (including the mud bath) go to easy riders and see russell for the best prices. would also recommed going to the kebab house next to help bar and trying a fresh chilli or two. as you can tell we had a fabulous time and would recommend to all couples up for socialising but not wild partys, total chill out holiday not a holiday were you come back and feel like you need a holiday to get over the one you just had. Clean, friendly & basic..
"I stayed at the hotel for a week in 2009, it was very clean, the staff were helpful & friendly and the food was reasonably priced and average, the pool and patio areas were always kept extremly clean & tidy, the beer was cheaper than most bars. I was disappointed with my room as it was in a basement with no actual sun light, there was a patio door leading to a small court yard which was directly above the bar and reception, so i was woken in the early hours of the morning by the new arriving guests and the late punters at the bar... apart from that it was a an enjoyable break - the location of the hotel is perfect, 2 minutes walk from the beech, with all hotels you get what you paid for - I didnt pay much so i was relativly happy.... "I stayed at the magic tulip hotel with my two children and my sister and her two children this hotel is absoluetly discusting we paid for bed and breakfast and it was discusting just bread cheese eggs. the room that they put me in was up four flights of stairs knowing i had 2 children with pushchairs i told them i wanted a room change and they failed to do this you have to pay for a fridge absolutley HORRIBLE staff very ignorant and not HELPFULL what so EVER the food is HORRIBLE. The cot for my daughter she atually fell out of as there was big gaps in the cot the pool is very wet and slippery lots of people including myself and my son slipped over one man had fell over and hurt his shoulder i sent my nephew to tell the member of staff and he did't want to know. VERY IGNORENT never again will i stay here it is very expensive you had to pay for entertainment DISCUSTING i would never recommend this hotel to any one if you are planning to stay this hotel take my advise and stay away. "Just got back from a 2 week stay in the Magic Tulip and all we can say is that it was absolutely fantastic. Rooms were very clean and comfortable, just exactly what you need after a day at the beach. All the staff were friendly and always made you feel welcome. Jason and Harry especially. They all worked exceptionally hard, with the barmen working 12-14 hour shifts but even then they were up for a laugh. We were in the room next to reception and not once were we woken up by musicor treated with disrespect, even when my boyfriend was ill, in fact Jason and Harry gave us lots of advice. Everyone that we met there also loved the hotel and said it was one of the best hotels in Olu Deniz. Some people just go away expecting 5* luxury from a 3* family hotel, maybe they should try the Lykia World Village instead. Olu Deniz is perfect for a lazy beach holiday. Great location, many bars and restaurants to choose from. Little beach called Billy's Beach in lagoon is beautiful, only about a 15 minute walk from hotel. Plenty of shops as well, Fethiye market every tuesday is also a must."
