My Second Home... :)
"The title sums it UP! Having read a range of different customers views, it is clear that some are happy and some are not! However my view and reflective summary is that of a Safe, Welcoming, Friendly Hotel. Having stayed at many hotel's in Marmaris in the past, I decided to stay at this hotel about 6 years ago and have continued to do so since. WHY?... The professional manner from staff at both management and general level is performed by a helpful, caring approach making you feel comfortable and at ease if you have any concerns or need support with enquires. This family hotel provides comfortable accomodation that is at a clean and is one of a good central location. I can only be positive as on many of occassions this hotel has been an excellent opportunity meeting very friendly people both customers, local nationals and staff. I would recommend this hotel to couples, families and single people and Im sure that having a professional workforce at hand and a friendly environment you will feel at HOME!! Enjoy your stay. "

Fab girls hol @ Oasis
"Myself and my friend have just returned from a 1 week holiday staying at the Oasis Hotel and had a brilliant time!
Room: Average size for 2 people and very clean. The towels were changed everyday and the aircon was available for no extra charge. You couldn hear any noise at night as the bars stop playing music at 12.30. The only down sides were that the shower leaked and there wasn't enough storage (one slim wardrobe but no drawers or anywhere to store suitcases so we had clothes everywhere!) There is also a mini bar which we only used to put our own water in to keep cool. You can rent a safe deposit box for the week for £10 (I think)
Pool: It's an L shaped pool and located at the front of the hotel. It was alway clean and not too busy. There is also a childrens pool as well. It is situated quite close to the road but it's not too noisy and you tend to forget how close it is.
Staff: Cheeky buggers in a word!! Bobby, Frankie, Jayjay, Jimmy & can't remember the others ones name! They do play pranks alot by the pool with tourists but it's all in jest and they like to make sure you have a good time without being too over the top. If your with a family / couple you get left alone more so than groups of friends (especially girls!) They are very accomodating though and would do anything for you.
Dining: Breakfast was basic but sufficent (served bewteen 8am-10am). It included bread, nuttela, jam/marmalade, cereal, olives, tomatoes, ham, tea & coffee, juice and melon. There is also a bar by the pool that did lunch time & evening meals. We only has lunchtime meals and they were great and really good value. It was a selection of salads, sandwiches, pastas, jacket potatoes and they also had specials board where you could get a chicken sandwich and chips with a soft drink for 7.50TL which is approx £3!
Amenities & Location: The hotel is in a really good location for supermarkets (only across the road and also a bigger one approx 100m away as some rooms are SC), bars/restaurants and souvenier shops. The dolmus which is the local bus service (and cheapest method of getting around apart from walking)stops right outside on both sides of the road and can take you to the Marmaris marina & beach or to Icemeler center and beach and only cost 2TL each way and run until about 1am.
Things to do: If you haven't been to Turkey before there is loads to do! You can book boat trips though the hotel with your rep but I'd recommend going to the locals to book it as it's often alot cheaper. This can be done either on the main roads or at the marina. There are all different types of boat trips suitable for all types of travellers. Other actvities include Turkish baths, Icemeler and Marmaris markets, quad biking and Turkish nights.
I would definately use this hotel again and continue visiting Turkey :D"

A total gem.
"I have just returned from an 11 night stay in the Oasis Hotel in Marmaris. The only thing i could say about the holiday was (amazing). The hotel is a tad dated but that would be its only fault and that the rooms are small. There was free internet, pool table, air conditioning. The rooms were cleaned everyday to a high standard. We were given fresh towels everyday and bed sheets changed everyday. We went bed & breakfast. It was a turkish breakfast so pretty standard. We ate in the hotel a lot as it was lovely and very reasonable. The staff were so nice and did everything to make your holiday enjoyable. The guys behind the bar Bobby, Frankie, Marcus and JayJay are lovely. We went as a family and had an excellent time. It is very close to the beach. On the night we left they all helped us to our coach and waved us good bye. We are hoping to return to this hotel again in September if not definately next summer. "

Spoilt my holiday!
"Before we went away me and my 3 friends looked for a holiday to somewhere pleasent and safe.
When reading the reviews we decided that the oasis hotel seemed a nice place to go.
When we arrived we were shocked that the pool was on the main road with alot of noise and the rooms were very small and dark and damp, we didnt let it spoil our time there and spent all our time on the beach and at a nice bar on the beachfront called faros.
The hotel night staff must have realised that we were not coming home untill the early hours of the morning as one day when we arrived home around 4am we were totally shocked to find one of the kitchen staff lying in a bed, helping himself to the mini bar and watching tv we were very scared and rang thomas cook who were very helpful and arrived within half an hour moving us to a different hotel in the morning.
The staff wer very seedy and seemed to creep around the hotel finding excuses to go in your room
i would 100% not recomend this hotel! "

"When we first arrived we were pleasantly surprised to learn that the air conditioning was free. Safety deposit box cost £10 for 2 weeks which is not bad.
Room is small but once you have got your stuff away and your cases shoved under the dressing table out of the road it is okay. Although would not like to have three people in the room, could have felt a bit of a tight squeeze I would have thought.
There is a fridge which is actually a mini bar but we took stuff out and put our own juice in.
Could do with a light in the wardrobe area as it is a bit dark
Bathroom small. Shower doors didnt shut very well so bathroom floor was wet all the time, dont think the cleaners mopped/dried it when they were in. Best time to shower is about 6pm as the water is warmer then than in the morning.
Air conditioning worked well & balcony was big enough for two people to relax.
The hotel is on the main road but noise was not a problem. We shut the patio doors at night and never really heard anything.
Breakfast was a basic turkish breakfast - cereal, bread, cheese, meat, tomatoes, cucumbers, olives, boiled eggs and jam. Orange/lemon squash was bizarre tasting, a bit chemically. Tea and coffee there as well. Cannot complain about breakfast, typical for a lot of hotels in Turkey and certainly fresh enough. Jay Jay refilled the serving dishes when they were empty and he kept the dining room clear.
You could also get a cooked breakfast if you wanted from the bar snack menu. We spent most days at the pool so ate in the hotel at lunchtime most days. Food was fine, freshly cooked and not a scarily huge portion - usual stuff, chicken, burgers, pizza, salads etc. There were normally various dishes from the snack menu on special offer i.e. a burger, chips, salad and a drink for a 7/8 lira.
We ate in the hotel twice at night. First time was okay, not the best meal we had this year but definitely not the worst (that was at the Piccadilly!!!) We also had the Sunday night roast which was an entertainment night with a Michael Jackson show, breakdancers and belly dancers.
The manager and night reception man were both very nice and polite.
Bobby, Frankie, Jay Jay, Marcus & Louis who were the bar staff were great, very friendly and helpful and there was always someone on hand to serve you.
Hotel pool was good. Sun works it ways round the pool. One thing that annoyed me was that when we were there we were heading back in about 1.15am when an english woman and a boy from another family were heading down with their towels to get the sunbeds they wanted in the morning. As far as I am concerned that is bang out of order. I dont mind people putting towels down 7am onwards but 1.15am!!!
There were a couple of computers you could use for free internet access and there is a book library where you can leave your finished books and get ones that other guests have left.
Have stayed in Marmaris 6 times, this is the first time have stayed in the Oasis Hotel but would happily consider it again."
