Missing you already
"We arrived back in England only a few days ago but we are already missing Turkey like mad. The people are very friendly, didnt have a bad meal in any of the resturants we tried & the trips we went on were awesome (highly recommend Turkish Bath). Beach, shops & resturants are all within walking distance. If you want to stay in the confines of the hotel the staff make sure there is never a dull moment, from Bingo to water polo there is always something going on, they even come over to your table & have a chat with you by the pool! nothing is too much trouble for them. This was our first holiday in Turkey but certainly not our last & we will be sure to stay at Club Turquoise again, they made a good holiday GREAT."

This place is fantastic
"Arrived back on Saturday and still wish i was there. Me and my girlfriend spent a week at the Club Turquoise (pron: Toor-Kaz)
Whatta week!!!! When we first arrived it didnt look too impressive but i was tired and it was 0400hrs. I woke up in the morning to a totally different place. We were able to get a sunlounger really easy, the food was great and there is always pool entertainment. The DJ at the pool always played good music too. If yr a guy(or a hairy faced woman!!!??? lol) id advise a Turkish shave at the hotel hairdresser-£2.00!!-bargain. Excellent entertainment at night too and the bar never closes. All rooms have A/C but when we were there it was always between 44 and 53 deg in the day and 32 at night so it was essential. We are defo going back next year. Let meknow how you get on"

I Love You Turquoise
"Club Turquoise was absolutly amazing!! We got such a good deal with this holiday!!! I would have been more than happy to pay over twice the amount we paid as it was so fantastic....
the facilities are great and so well maintained...the rooms are kept immaculate as are all public areas.
The pool is huge and always clean.
The best thing about the holiday was the staff at the club turquoise. every single one went out of their way to help and make sure you enjoy your holiday.... The entertainment staff are fantastic they have so much energy and they get you to join in various things throughout the day such as the pool dance, water polo, bingo the cocktail game and dancing. In the evening they also have great entertainment and the turkish night held once a week is definately not to be missed.
The restaurant staff are so good they really do all they can for you.
When leaving club turquoise I was so upset I felt like Id left my heart there!!! the staff had become like best friends or family and the place just felt like home. The surrounding area was good there are loads of great restaurants to eat at nearby and also on the seafront.Bar Street was also very good... a great night out however early on it is very quiet and does not start to get busy until around 11 or 12pm so dont be put off if going there earlier...it will pick up!!
Everybody in Marmaris is so friendly it was incredible how welcoming people were it wasn't at all like anywhere else id ever been, I would reccomend Marmaris to anybody. It is not only great for younger people with fantastic bars and clubs on bar street. but also for families with small children and older people as well!
We loved it so much we will definately be going back year after year and I am also seriously considering going out there to work maybe next year as I work in the hotel industry in England already and I am just so in love with Marmaris and Club Turquoise!! So you never know this time next year If you are going to Marmaris I could be Serving you cocktails!!
I LOVE YOU CLUB TURQUOISE, HELLO TO EVERYONE...HOPE TO SEE YOU ALL SOON, ALL MY LOVE ALWAYS REBEKAH XXXX"

"I was dreading this holiday being my first holiday in Turkey with a 4 hour flight and the 2 hour coach ride to the Club Turquoise Hotel. I travelled with my wife, our twelve year old daughter and family friends. I was however pleasantly surprised with the standard of cleanliness of the air conditioned apartments and of the hotel in general.
The staff and entertainers were very friendly, a great laugh and gave excellent service. The pool area can get a bit crowded, and itâs no good playing a German, the staff wonât allow any placing of towels on empty sun lounges for long periods which gave everybody a chance of spending a day by the pool.
The food in the hotel and in the local restaurants was of good quality and very reasonably priced. The beach was about a 15 min. walk and very narrow, but no problem finding sun beds and good friendly service from the seafront cafes and restaurants. It has a small water park which was great fun adults and kids alike, with plenty to do in the sea with banana boat rides etc. I also highly recommend taking a boat trip for the day and taking some snorkelling gear with you.
One problem which Iâm partly to blame. I always use the hotel safe for my travels cheques and large notes, but what I forgot about was my daughterâs pocket money (£75) which she kept in her handbag in the bottom of the wardrobe. She only needed this money at the end of the holiday to buy gifts etc. but it was gone and we had no idea when. Also after packing away the clothes that we didnât need for the last day, we only noticed when we got home and unpacked that a selection of my wifeâs skirts was missing. So take care.
I will be going back to this hotel because it was a great holiday, but I wonât get caught twice.

Great for families
"We stayed at this hotel June 2005 2 adults and 2 children and thoroughly enyoyed ourselves. The entertainment team worked so hard they made the holiday. There was always something to do, if you didn't want to join in the activities that was fine. The childrens club was great, the rooms were basic but the maids left petals and sculpted towels on the beds-a very nice touch. The bar and restaurant were quite expensive but the food was very nice and the service brilliant. A big thank you is sent to all the staff who gave us and the children a holiday to remember."

"This was by far one of the best family holidays we have had so far.The appartments are very clean and well maintained. The staff make you so welcome from the day you arrive until the day you leave. The pool is great for children of all ages and the pool games/dance are a laugh. Food at the hotel is second to none and the evening entetainment is a scream. poolside drinks are, as you would expect, a bit more expensive than outside the complex. The complex location is only a 5/10 mins. walk away from the city centre so all the shops/bars nightclubs etc. are easily accessible yet far enough away from any late night noise. We enjoyed this place so much that we booked for 2006 as soon as we returned. Highly recommended for a family holiday My kids were aged 9 & 13."

"Got put in a basic room G4 - no balcony - noticed on 3rd day how nasty pillows smelt - on taking a look under pillow case realised how filthy they were, reported this to reception and Thomson Rep, to be told they are clean in April and get cleaned again end of season in october - anyone going on hols have to put up with this because they have no more pillows - slept rest of hols without a pillow!
complex quite scruffy and also staff are too annoying and nearly outnumber holidaymakers"

Great Hotel! already Re-booked for 2011!
" I am 23 and went for a week away with my 48 year old mum in September 2010. We just wanted a week in the sun without paying a fortune for it! So we went onto the Thomson website and booked a holiday staying at Club Turquoise in Marmaris.
We arrived at around 11pm and had a quick, smooth check-in and even had our bags carried to our 1 bedroom apartment on the 2nd level. We could see a tiny bit of swimming pool through our bedroom window but in the living area we were facing the main road. This wasn't a problem as when we were in the apartment we tended to be in bed so weren't disturbed in the night by coaches. We didn't have a balcony, just a french window type thing but my mum still enjoyed sitting by it doing her crosswords. We headed straight to the bar after check-in for a drink. 2-4-1 cocktails from 11pm-1am. Brilliant! The staff were very friendly from the minute we arrived.
We got up the next day at around 8:30 (well I got up and left mother in bed!) and there were ample sunbeds and the mattresses were free to use (whether this is because we went in September which was slightly out of the highest peak season I don't know). I sat at one side of the pool (where the sun shone all day) and my mum on the other (in the shade under an umbrella) which suited me fine. But the point is, you have the choice. The pool is big and very refreshing. Slightly cold in the morning but lovely to cool down in. The staff come round a few times a day for games e.g. darts, pool, bingo but the water polo was brilliant! I played every day I was there and it was so much fun and was followed by the splash dance afterwards. If you didn't want to join in with any of the activites, they accepted that and moved on. They also had evening entertainment such as karaoke and a Turkish night. They showed all the English football games as well.
The food was lovely at the hotel. A lot of authentic Turkish dishes such as a full english breakfast, and egg and chips were served! Great value as well. The drinks were reasonable too. A pint of the local beer (effes) was 5TL and cocktails were 10TL (but bear in mind theyre 241 7pm-8pm and 11pm-1am every day).
We got a safety deposit box which is located in reception and is very secure. Well worth the small amount of money. The air conditioning was free but only in the living area of the apartment, but in September it was slightly cooler overnight so not really much of an issue.
The hotel is in a good location. You go out, turn left and keep walking for about 150m and you will hit the beach. All down that road is the bars and restaurants (if you like your curries, go to the Taj Mahal. Lovely, cheap food with a chef all the way from Bradford!) There are a few clubs on the beach front but if you want the superclubs go to the Marina (where the Bazar is). You flag down the Dolmus and get there for 2TL. More restaurants there but quite expensive.
On the first day I was there I went for a turkish bath. Strange experience but meant to be very good for prepping your skin for a tan. I had the best tan I've ever had whilst I was there but not sure it was down to the Tukish Bath. We also did the Jeep Safari (very much fun but you WILL get wet!) and the Late Check-out day. It was an expensive day but was very good. I think I'd rather spend my last day by the pool though next time.
Overall, it was a great holiday and I met lots of people of all ages (hence me going to clubs) and the staff at the hotel even came out with us at night when they finished work! I would definitely recommend Turqoise and I have booked to return in June 2011 with my boyfriend!"
