"We have just come back from 10 days at this hotel and really was not at all impressed. We cannot understand why everyone raves about how fantastic it is. The hotel itself is lovely and clean. Rooms really nice. BUT.....the staff, the food, poolside entertainment and other guests completely ruined the holiday. The only staff we came across that were friendly were the barmen who work really hard. The waitresses at the bar are ignorant and only choose to serve you at your table if your turkish. Otherwise you have to get your own drinks. The reception staff are just plain rude. On a number of occasions we were completely ignored whilst waiting to speak to someone at the front desk. The food is just awful. If you don't get to the restaurant for bang on opening time the food is barely lukewarm. The choice is awful, the same food gets trotted out night after night. We're not people that go on holiday to eat english food, we like to try the local food. But it was just dire. The only saving grace was the selection of salads but again it was the same thing every day - breakfast, lunch and dinner. Food was left cooking on the grills with no staff and queues of people waiting. We basically ate the same thing for 10 days (or would have done if we hadn't eaten out in Kusadasi for our own sanity for 3 out of the 10 nights we were there). The description said 3 restaurants and 2 a la carte, a patisserie, lobby bar and an english style pub. There was 1 a la carte open and the food was terrible - can cook better myself, 2 restaurants not 3 but in fact it's one because it serves the same food- it's just some of it is inside some of it outside. Patisserie, lobby bar, pub and other restaurants were shut. Leaving one bar at night with no entertainment other than the very late show at 10pm put on by the animation team - which wild horses wouldn't have dragged us to as all aimed at the children. Lovely pool area completely spoiled by the BANGING incessant music played from 10-6 every day. No relaxation available there!!!! The first day was gangster rap playing with all the profanities still in which we found offensive and we're not easily shocked! The other pool has no bar nearby and toilet inconvieniently located. Indoor pool temperature was sub zero!! The beds on the beach are crammed in together so tightly you could roll over and touch the next person!! The hotel is mainly full of guests from Russia, Turkey and Germany whose manners leave me speechless. Rude, ignorant and arrogant without a thought for any other holiday maker except themselves. By the end of the holiday we were just completely fed up of feeling like we were invisible to other guests and staff alike. We've been all over the world and never encountered anything like this at all. We booked this last minute because our holiday to Egypt was cancelled and to be honest if we'd known it was going to be like this we'd rather not have bothered going anywhere. Would not go back even if it was offered free. "

"Me, my Wife and 2 daughters (aged 7 and 3) visited for the 3rd time (visited previously in 2006 and 2010). We had a great holiday, the hotel itself is fantastic with loads to do and an absolutely first class animation team. Big thanks to Koko, Bibo, Gizem, Leah, Chris, Muzo and especially to Rocco, Sami, Joker and Kiko. You guys will never understand how great you are at what you do and how much enjoyment you add to peoples holidays. My advice to anyone would be that if you're polite and friendly, are up for a bit of fun and take part in things occasionally you'll have an amazing time. If you go out there and be miserable and moody and expect fish & chips and full english breakfasts every day, you might be slightly disappointed. The only genuine downside I can think of mentioning would be occasional behaviour by some of the other guests - theres a lot of guests from Belarus at this hotel, some of whom have "different" manners from us Brits. You occasionally find that the odd person pushes in at the bar or in the restaurant, seemingly oblivious to queuing up like everyone else - you can guarantee that its one of the Belarus guests. They'll usually have a mullett haircut, a dodgy moustache, wear skin tight trunks during the day and socks and sandals in the evening. The amusement you'll get from seeing these fashion crimes pretty much makes up for any bad manners you'll encounter. Another thing - always walk down the corridors to the right hand side as everyone seems to walk on the same side as they drive their cars in their home country. If you walk to the left a lot of people will simply try and walk through you - you'll be walking around them and not the other way around. All in all, if you've not been to this hotel before and are considering it - go for it! Being open and honest, we probably wouldnt go again to this hotel but the one and only reason for that is the fact that we've now been 3 times. This is a fantastic hotel, kept very clean, with great facilities and in a great location."

"we took our 2 year old daughter to tusan beach 0n 6th june!it was an excellent hotel very clean everybody friendly!animation team was excellent especially chris one of the team!!!there was plenty to do lots of activities through the day,if you want to relax theres a quiet pool on the other side of the hotel!the food was good but very repetitive but what can you expect for an all inclusive.the only down point to this hotel is the other guests the russians are very rude and arrogant people we had a run in with them but as they were in the wrong the manager did give them a warning!thats another good thing about this hotel you get well looked after!our balcony looked over the pool and the beach it was lovely.the beach is right off the hotel grounds and small enough to watch where the little ones are!!the animation team made the holiday with the entertainment of a night time my little girl loved the mini disco they had on every night.the only downfall to this holiday is i would never book with on the beach again!they messed up the booking right from the start then we arrived at turkey to find out they had forgot to send us our taxi transfer so we had to get a taxi half way to meet our transfer that was meant to be at the airport!all in all it was a lovely holiday and we will defo be going back"

Best all inclusive holiday
"We have just returned from staying at the resort for 8 days. The resort is excellent, it has everything you could possibily want for the family. We had an amazing view over the pool and the beach "breathtaking". My 3 year old son had a great time, the staff made a big fuss over him and his cousin (same age). The staff in the kids club were really helpful and welcoming, and I had no concerns over leaving him there. There were security guards at all entry points to the hotel, so it felt safe for the children to roam around and have fun. My son is not happy to be home (UK). The entertainment at the hotel was really good, we really enjoyed every moment of our holiday. All of the staff at the hotel work really hard and were always smiling and friendly. The range of food was really good and a different menu was served everyday. I actually lost a bit of weight, because of the healthy choices available. I would recommend this hotel to all especially families. We will definitely be going back in the future. "

Amazing Hotel, Amazing Environment, Amazing Holiday
"In August 2010 we went to Hotel Tusan in Kusadasi and stayed there for 2 Weeks with our 12 year old son. We had an amazing holiday. The Hotel itself is very nice, you have everything you need right there. If you want to have a fun time, hang out on the big pool side, the animation team is great and there is lot´s of activities going on. If you want to chill, the beach is simply beautiful to hang loose. The Lobby has an amazing spot to take a seat, enjoy the great view over the ocean and drink a nice turkish coffee. The rooms are standard, but nicely done, bed´s are very comfortable, way enough for the time you spend in your room during the Holiday. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The Food is amazing, open buffet 3 times a day, you definatly find something that will siut your taste. Fresh fruits, vegies, and differnt meet dishes, all tasted really good for us. Location is peferct, 5 KM outside the Citycenter, 10 KM to Ephesus, best spot in Town ! What more can i say, it was an amazing holiday for all of us. Last but not least, price performance ratio makes this resort nothing less then a bargain."

An Amazing Hotel! ignore bad reviews!!!
"i go to tusan beach resort every year and its all because i cant imagine not going there! the first time i went blew me away, its so surreal how comfortable and happy you feel just from the first day! the hotel at first view is beautiful, we normally arrive at night where we see this big fountain that lights up and its just gorgeous! as we get off the coach you can see all the others look out and say WOW. it only take a few minutes to sign in and sort out rooms... then your cases are taken up to your room. The rooms are quite big and spacious and no matter where you are located in the hotel you are guarenteed a stunning view! the food is lovely, especially at night, theres always a chef cooking something on the grill, from kebabs to steaks! the waiters knew our orders of drinks and we was always reserved a table every night with our drinks ready for us! the barmen where brilliant! always happy and up for a laugh, even when the bar got quite full at night they worked fast and efficient, and was always fair! which meant anyone who pushed in, would still wait until those who had be patient were served! but by far the thing that tips the hotel into perfection, is the animation team. koko, pikachu, bobo, bibo, danni, ozi, katy , chris, Dj crazy , joker! as well as ilker and ice the camera guys! your all bloody fantastic! always happy and joking about, very welcoming. I LOVE YOU ALL!!!!! the team eventually become more than just your entertainment they become great friends that you never want to leave! i know i cried buckets when i left! theres not a bad word i can say about this place, so ignore any bad reviews cos its all nonsense! EVERYONE is happily greeted and welcomed by the staff and team of tusan! see you same time next year guys! as always :) all my love Olivia ( and pako, shaun bev and hannah of course ) x"

Think twice - read all reviews
"We have not too long returned from a two week holiday here. Please read all the reviews carefully and do take note of the negative ones as they are true. We are a black professional couple with two young children. I do not think this hotel is suitable for black families and they do not like English people, so what chance did we stand! One day a stood at the bar for 45mins before being served, once I complained it all changed. The best part of the holiday was the entertainers, they were lovely and friendly, the kids club staff were also great, especially Danni, and Betty. This holiday has totally put me off of Turkey and I would not visit again!!!!!! Please read all reviews before booking!"

Not too bad
"Just returned from a 2 week AI holiday . We are a family of 4 with 2 x children aged 16 & 12. The hotel is huge with 2 good sized pools, shops, numerous restaurants, snack bars, bars & a large entertainment team. The hotel is on the beach which is lovely & clean with numerous watersports available (some free). The hotel is very busy but is mainly occupied with Turks, Russians, Dutch, Iranians & Polish. English families are a minority & our children didn't really make any friends here. The entertainment team do work hard during the day but the night time shows were awful & very repetitive. Due to there being so many nationalities everything that is said is repeated in various languages & takes forever! Plus the kids disco doesn't begin until 2130 & the main show at 2200.... far too late. The food was great with a huge choice & we never went hungry. Drinks are topped up throughout meals & the waiters are very friendly. Kusadasi is a 10 min bus drive away but be prepared to be hussled outside evry shop! Make time for a visit to the market on a Wednesday... great for bags, clothing, perfume etc. There are 2 water parks very near by too, we visited Aqua Fantasy Park which was fab. Make sure to take plenty of mosquito repellant, they were a nuisance. "

great great great
"we arrived at the hotel early hours of the 2nd august.. first impressions were good and from there the holiday just got better and better. the hotel was very clean and quite large, the two pools were clean and a desent size the main pool was always busy and very lively. the beach was large (quite narrow but long). there was always plenty to do, with the entertainment staff always organising games and activities throughout the day. including crazy darts, table tennis tournaments, shooting, boules, and pool games in the pool. the entertainment staff themselves were top class and always came over to talk and say hello, but were never pushy. just like to say thanks to Chris, Bobo, Bambi, Pikachu, Bibo, coco, and ozzy,, and of course the females betty and danielle.. the only one i would have any thing bad to say about was joker she was always moody and didnt smile or talk much. the other staff were also fab including tom the bar man,,, and yusef in the resaurant he would always have our beers ready on a table when he saw us walking to the resaurant even when the resaurant was full,,,,, And to all the other staff that really looked after us we couldnt have asked for any better,,, THANKYOU TO YOU ALL you made our holiday....................... and of course to stumpy who made us howl with laughter.. he he he we are definately going back next year and cant wait, hopefully with a fab family we met there (HELLO GUYS IF YOU READ THIS) this hotel is well recommended by us do not take notice of the bad reviews "

NOT for wheelchair users!
"We travelled to Kusadasi in June for a holiday booked through our local travel agents. They assured us that the Tusan was suitable for wheelchair users but we found when we got there it clearly was not. The access ramp to get in and out of the hotel was far too steep and slippery to use. Once in the hotel their idea of a disabled room was one near the lift. There was no access to the bathroom for wheelchairs - an essential requirement. Many paths in the hotel grounds ended in steps and the beach and the a la carte restaurant were inaccessible. We had to transfer (at our own cost) to another hotel that did have disabled facilities, the Aqua Fantasy. If you are disabled I recomend avoiding the Tusan at all costs."
