"The appartment wasnt brillant but the staff in the appartments made up for that. The food was excellent i highly recommend 'Somewhere Else' which is a resturant in kusadasi which is only a few minute walk from the appartment. I was very disapointed with the air conditioning as it was only available in the bedroom and it was not available for us on the first night of are stay. Staff in the appartments are very friendly and make you feel welcome. GO TO JIMMYS IRISH BAR!!! LOL"

"I booked a holiday for the first time with ON THE BEACH. via thier WEB SITE. I was introdused to this company by a friend. I was not aware that this company used other agencies to complete your holiday, I was given travel vouchers for the flight which was arrange by OTB with a company call Goldtrail The hote was booked with Hotel4you.the transfer was with Hotel4you.Iwas given a flight ref. OB/4 . THIS OB4 CONFUSED ME ! I tried to get some information from OTB ( FAILD ) Through being ignord by OTB after sales. I found out that the flight opperator was ONURE a small Turkish airline running cast off aircraft that had used more than half of thier flight life. Well all went ok untill Onure had aircraft go tech 5 days from my return, off caurse they have no spare areoplanes and no back up. They then play catch up. which takes time. My complaint is these organisers drag hundreds of people from hotels were they have been staying, to the airport knowing full well they are going to be delayed,in my case 18 hours ( WRONG ). Here at this point the reps do a runner and the tour opperator can not be contacted in this case OTB plus Goldtrail plus Onure. advise. DONT USE THEM !!!"

"We arrived early hours Monday Morning the 31st August 08... They gave us the wrong the room!! All Studios in these apartments are at ground level, the bar is right outside the room, the bar is a 24 hour bar and the music is pumpin all night till about 4 in the morning, having just travelled all day, this was very annoying when ur trying to sleep!!!! Because the Studios are on the groung floor, u have NO BALCONY, so hanging out clothes/towells to dry is impossible!! We spoke to the manager the next morning and to be fair they were helpful, they upgraded us, FREE OF CHARGE, to a 1 bedroom apartment. U could still hear the Music PUMPING TILL 4AM THO!! The apartments are not clean, dirty walls, dirty rusty shower head, yellow stained (i think pee) in the floor of shower. Tiles dirty, ants crawling all over bed, and in sink. Dirty cutlery and floor of balcony stinking!!!! The staff at bar/pool area are really dead on, one of which tho (gizmo) can be a bit crude, i enjoy a laugh but not when its dirty pervy stuff infront of your girlfriend! Not on! Air conditioning was 105 lira per week (£50) Didnt work properly, kept turning itself off after a minute and when we asked we didnt get any of our money back. U cant pay at the bar for drinks, u have to pay ur bill at reception the next day, be careful incase u run a big bill up!! All in all, its okay, clean the apartment urself, dont get air con and you should enjoy urself. We would def go back to Kusadasi, but NEVER back to Happy Apartments!!! EVER!!!!!"

"We booked this holiday at the last minute & did not know where we were stopping until we arrived in Turkey. All we knew was that the hotel would be a 3*. We arrived at the hotel at 3.30am. We checked in & paid for air conditioning (£5 a day but totally worth it!). The hotel is basic but you have to remember that you are in Turkey which is in the Middle East!! The rooms are basic but have everything you need for a self-catering holiday. Rooms are cleaned every other day although I'm sure our room was cleaned everyday. Just outside the front of the apartments is the pool which is right next to the bar! Plenty of sun loungers so no need to get up at 6 to put your towles down!! 10 minute walk from the beach & nightlife & the hotel is on route to get a dolmus into the centre. The couple who own the hotel are lovely although they do not a lot of speak English. The barman, Fuat, is very helpful & makes beautiful cocktails!! Food prices at the hotel aren't bad, £2.50 for a plate of chips but they are amazing!! Local beer is 4 lira (about £2), imported drinks will cost you more. Overall, our holiday was great. The people we met at the hotel were lovely. We are planning to go back next year & book direct with the hotel."

"after being placed here due to appauling previous hotel (palm club) was pleasantly surprised. hotel very clean and staff very welcoming and friendly. lovely clean pool with swim up bar, snacks available which were tasty and reasonably priced, drinks on the bar also. The hotel is on a steep hill but if you use the rear entrance - exit down the steps by the pool - it is a much easier walk. this hotel has a lift which makes life easier. the bar is a 24hr affair, so if you do like your sleep then thiis is possibly not the place for you; more geared up to the young and single and those who like a lively nightlife as it does get rather rowdy. many british guests stay there, also lots of irish. most of the staff speak very good english; reception offer fairly good exchange rates on your money and you can also pay by visa. no cash is taken over the bar, you settle your bar bill on a daily basis at reception, easier to keep track of what you have spent that way. We had no problems with this, staff there are very honest. a £20 deposit is payable on check in, refundable on check out providing you haven't caused any damage - fair comment given the amount of youngsters there. the beach is just a short 5 min walk away; Ladies Beach is lovely - plenty of good restaraunts, majority of which are reasonable. I suggest the one next to "somewhere else", sea garden, rosy and first bar - great for karaoke! the beach is very clean and there are plenty of loungers and parasols"

"An excellent holiday , great staff , smiling faces, spotless clean, good food. The policy of the hotel is "We make your wish come true". The location is good if you wanna make the most of the sea, sun and fun:) 5 minute to center - 3 minute to beach - lovely beach - just sand and beautiful view especially don't miss the sunset. Hotel is a family-run business. Manager is hands on , a lovely lady. It is not just a hotel it is like your Summer house in Turkey. I strongly recommend. Have a nice holiday!!!!!!!!!!!!"

"booked the happy on a cheap and cheerful basis as was gettin cosmetic dental surgery done while there.. if i was going again to turkey which i am i would not stay there as i expect more from a place but it done the job. apartments were fairly ok.. not bad .. the shower wasout of date as was the whole bathroom surrounding. shabby looking.and dirty looking . it was clean however the maid was inevery 2 days but been a frequent holidayer if i needed anything i jus asked!!! it was also a bit far out from kudasi itself having to get a taxi maybe 3 or times a day but saying that they are cheap. the bar staff were very friendly however u are expected to tip with their sad stories drink isalso very expensive there and u pay for everythin on a tab basis so dont be gettin drunk and think its a good idea puutin it on tab because u det a bad shock in the morning .............. including toilet roll! ladies beach is right beside you but isboring and we had kids with us.. the staff do tell u the shortcuts ..!! the pool is lovely for kids and the sun shines al day, but we found the barmen to brainwash u into staying for their in nights only we are frequent holidayers and no better. overall is grand for a last min job but i would nt stay there again .."

"As it was my first time in Turkey I do not have much experience of accomodation in this country but I have to admit Happy Apart added hugely to our brillant holiday in Turkey. Staff are extremely friendly-even the cleaners!! Very clean apartments, spacious and extremely airy (we didnt need to pay for AC even though it was 30-35C). View from balcony is impressive. The building itself looks well, clean and not as simple as it looks in brochures or even on the website. Music playing late is a problem for families to a certain extent. With apartment door closed music is muffled and not that loud.It ends between mid-nite - 1am. It is not a major problem for most people. Mosque is very loud @ times but that is Turkeys culture and is quite an experience to hear the muslim songs. Water in apartments was perfect- hot or cold any time. shower was bit dirty and old but nothing to complain about. Safe boxes @ reception very handy and secure. One MAJOR problem is that if you drink @ happy apart bar it goes onto your room tab!!!! which means you will spend alot without knowing!!! in the morning you will have a hangover and hefty bill to pay! same goes for sweets, milk etc in the on site shop. Pool area perfect for getting a tan. Clean and safe for kids. Hqppy apart is 3 min walk to beach. The hill that happy is located on is CRAZY steep, especially in hot weather. There is a less steep route to beach but its longer. However considering the price of Happy its not a bad complaint. Turkey is the best holiday and i will def be going back!!!! id encourage everyone to try Turkey, young or old! "

"We were sold a holiday staying in the Happy apartments by a travel agent who stated it was family-friendly. We had our 1yr old daughter with us. It is NOT family-friendly at all. Music is played up loud from 11am until 1am. It was very difficult to get the baby to sleep, or to sleep ourselves. The cot provided for the baby was dangerous. It was made of metal and the sides were only 1ft high. The baby could easily climb out of it. There is a mosque near the apartment. 5 times a day the Muslim call to prayer rang out on loudspeakers, from 5am until 11pm. It was nearly as annoying as the constant loud music. The water ran out at peak times and took a long time to come back. Staff didn't inform us of a much easier entrance to the apartments that avoided the punishingly steep hill. We found it for ourselves after two days pushing the buggy up and down the hill. There was a lot of late night noise from other guests staying there. On the plus side, the apartment was kept clean, the staff were generally helpful, laundry service was excellent and very cheap, restaurant and market facilities covered the basics. Had we been on holiday without a small child we probably would have had no complaints. "

"I stayed here wiith my partner for a week, the happy appartments are very central & very clean!!! you are only a five minute walk from ladies beach, also there are always taxis outside the door to take you into kusadasi centre at only €5!! I was dissapointed due to the fact that the sun was shaded by the apartments from 4pm onwards,so if you were lying by the pool, forget about tanning from then onwards, whereas on the beach we used chill out everyday until 7ish as the sun shines until 8:30pm which is great!!! also the food & drink in the apartments is VERY overpriced,on the first day we had breakfast & 2 soft drinks which cost €29,to eat the same in a lovely restaurent on ladies beach it cost only €13, to rent the safety deposit box for a week was a complete rip off at €31,our friends were staying in a similar appartment block & they only payed €10,also their exchange rate is 15 crona per euro dearer than anywhere else in the resort as we found out!!!!!"
