"Just returned from a 7 day stay at this hotel. We stayed in the apartments, which had 2 bedrooms, which was ideal for our family. The food was excellent. The pool area was spacious and clean. There were many steps down to the beach, but you needed the exercise after eating great food every day. There were pedals at the beach which were free to us, so it was great fun to beable to go out on them every day. The staff and animation team were very friendly, but not in your face. We would recommend the the aqua park, which is in walking distance, however there is a bus service. We went to the Doplin show which was well the worth the the 10TL each, and we also got to have our picture taken with the dolphin, as well as touch it, for 30TL. "

"Today I returned from a holiday in Kusadasi and I am eager to share my expirience, as my parents and I spent a memorable week at Hotel Ephesia. I must say that this was the best holiday I have ever had - the accomodation was a lot more than satisfactory, the cuisine was exquisite and we were quite impressed by the excellent service. As a guest of the hotel I could use facilities such as swimming pool, beach, sauna, fitness centre, etc. free of charge. In addition to this I could participate in the numerous activities and enjoy the amusing evening shows, organized by the entertainment team. What created a great impression on me was the attitude of the staff. Actually people working in Hotel Ephesia are really friendly and free-hearted, which sets guests at ease. Namely that is the main reason that makes me resolved to visit the hotel again next year and to urge you to do the same."

Best Holiday we've had
"We were a family group of 8 and we'd booked 3 rooms. we had a problem with 1 room, air conditioning didn't work but within a few hours they'd moved us to an alternative room. The staff couldn't be more helful and friendly. Very clean and food was really excellent. I would recomend this complex to anyone, my daughter is already looking to book for next year but she'll go for 2 weeks as 1 week didn't seem long enough."

"Super hotel - right on the beach, altho it's a very small beach! We were in the garden rooms - single storey almost like bungelows - not in the best position and probably the oldest part - but hey it was cheap & clean and who spends all their time in the room anyway. The rest of the rooms were nearer the ameinities in 2/3 story blocks, from what we saw they looked great. Garden/landscaped/pool areas - again very well kept and clean. A bonus for me was that everything was accessable via ramps - as I use a wheelchair this was a real bonus. Food - very good, not the best we'd ever had, usual tons of different salads but cooked food was a bit sameish - still very good and value for money tho. Overall a very clean, super friendly hotel which I would go back to. The only drawback is it's 99% Russians & French so obviously geared towards them, plus they can be awefully loud!! Didn't like the fact that all outside bars served beer & drinks in coco cola card & plastic cups - I assume for safety but not very nice. AI - brilliant - food is available 7am- midnight, the pool bar serving great burgers, chips, turkish pizzas all afternoon, saved us going in for a big meal at lunchtime. Overall would recommend to all ages for an exceptional value for money hotel."

"we have just come back from a 2 week holiday at the ephesia hotel kusadasi. we had a really great holiday here and the children loved the pools and the kids club which they used every day. It is an all inclusive hotel and you definetly get your moneys worth although the food is a little repetitive and not a great meat selection but over all very good. The hotel itself is very clean and the rooms are very comfortable especially if you have a family room which we did and the children have there own room. The hotel entertainment is ok again a little repetitive. They have a mini disco every night for the children but it is a little bit late and doesn't start till 9.30 and then at 10pm is the rest of the entertainment. Over all a very good. And definetly good value for money."

"Me and my partner had a weeks holiday here at the Ephesia Hotel. We decided to go all inclusive, We loved it, it was so clean and neat. The food was amazing and there was always something different, staff were friendly and generous with the drinks. The location was great directly on the beach! There were snacks inbetween lunch and dinner. Also ice cream for the kids. The room was big with patio doors which was stunning to sit out at night, as you have the beach and sunset. The photographer was amazing and took some great photos which we will treasure. We will definatly be returning. 10 out of 10."

"We have just returned from a week in this hotel & I cannot recommend it highly enough. We had an amazing holiday & would book again in a flash!! The hotel was clean, the staff could not do enough for you & all in all we had no real complaints at all!! The hotel did get busier at the weekend as apparently the Turkish go then for a mini break so you have to put you towels on loungers when you go down for breakfast but every other day there was no problem getting loungers or parasols. We went with our 5 & 16 year old daughters & our 15 year old son. Our 5 year old had a whale of a time in the kiddies club & at the disco & the girls that ran it couldnt do enough for her. Our daughter was totally besotted with them. They were lovely. My son & my husband played darts, did rifle shooting & went scuba diving. (at an extra cost but well worth it they said & they got a DVD too!) amongst other things including belly dancing on a surf board in the swimming pool which was hilarious!! The food was brilliant. Yes it was a bit of the samey but it was lovely & well cooked & there was enough variety that you could swop & change. At lunchtime we tended to have pizza, freshly cooked & beautiful. Beach towels were included so dont take your own & try the hair braiding our little one looked gorgeous after. As there were 5 of us we found it as reasonable to get a taxi to the market & the harbour rather than catching buses & the drivers gave us a card & we rang them to get picked up after for the same agreed price. The only disapointment was Adaland. We paid about £160 for the 5 of us to go through our rep. The bus that picked us up had a broken door & was held shut by a piece of rope & 2 passengers!! The food at Adaland was extortionately priced & there were 7 dolphins in effect what was a swimming pool. The dolphin show lasted approx 35 minutes & wasnt worth £5 each never mind £13. Very disappointing but that is more of a reflection on the tour operator & the place than the hotel. The photographers are absolute stars & are soooo friendly. We had some sunset shots & they are out of this world & very reasonably priced. Finally, the animation team, Boby, Aykut, Mert, Jojo & Elavn (the ones we can remember) they were soooo friendly & knew our names by the 2nd day. The kids disco & the evening entertainment was hilarious & varied. Yes it ended at 11pm but we then had a game of pool (charged at a reasonable rate) There was also playstation, internet access & computer games at a reasonable price too. There was plenty to do. All in all a very safe, clean, enjoyable holiday...Cant wait to go back.. The animation team & staff made it, thanks guys you all deserve medals & you made our holiday!!!!!! "

"Found the staff very friendly and obliging. Rooms were clean with linen changed every other day. Towels changed daily. The food and drinks were mediocre. There were was not enough variety as far as the food was concerned. The salad bar was good but the hot buffet comprised of chicken, turkey, meatballs, which after being repeated for 2 weeks became very boring. Chips were often luke warm or cold. My first drink was a gin and tonic which had no taste and the tonic was decidely flat. The beer was ok. The wine is kept in a jug so if you want a white wine ask for ice with it as it is usually warm. It appears that in May the germans get cheap deals resulting in there being 3 english couples in the hotel. It was annoying when you were queuing for something and they would just push in front. At night there is not much to in the way of entertainment. On the whole though not a bad hotel, but don't think I'll be going back."

"HOTEL EPHESIA: This was the first holiday abroad we have taken with our children. Aged 10(while away) and 8 we chose this hotel as it was advertised as a family hotel with a beach nearby HOTEL AND ACCOMMODATION: First impressions of hotel very very clean and tidy. We were on the second floor in a family room air-conditioning very effective two bedrooms were large and spacious... Bathroom very clean and newly fitted. Our room was at the end of the building. Sunsets were amazing!! STAFF AND ENTERTAINMENT: The staff were friendly and helpful all the time and spoke brilliant English compared to our Turkish. Activities available included aqua gym, petanque pool volleyball, and beach volleyball darts shooting! There was entertainment every evening in the Anfi theatre which started at nine thirty with the mini disco the same songs/dances so by about the third evening all the kids new all of them and couldnât wait to join in. CD of this available to buy. Entertainment was aimed at the family audience very slapstick. FOOD: Breakfast was continental style you could also get omelettes fried eggs and pancakes cooked to order. (My only complaint other guests to do not understand the concept of joining the back of a queue!!!!) Lunch was a huge salad table and various hot options. If you like more basic âEnglish foodâ the beachside bar catered for this... There was also âpideâ (Turkish pizza) and gozleme (very thin pizza dough with filling). Dinner was served in a separate restaurant with outdoor seating area food looked and tasted amazing... FACILITIES: Freshwater pool with plenty of sun beds with parasols. On the beach there pedeloâs and kayaks to use were free for the first 15mins and a few Euros per hour thereafter. They also had banana boats and doughnuts to hire at a cost of 8 Euros per person. Rides were toned down to suit kids! OVERALL:. Our son had his birthday in second week. Staff made it very memorable singing happy birthday with a huge cake it could have served about 20 people!! If you go on any the excursions you are the first hotel to be collected and last to be dropped. Hotel has in house photographers who take pictures all day and night. They also take stunning photos of you and your family with the sunset 14 photos cost 40 Euros (worth every penny!!) I donât think we could criticize anything, entertainers were brilliant and really made you feel welcome. (Particularly Denny!!) . Would we go again?? Tomorrow -- FANTASTIC."

We booked our holiday through Sunshine.c...
"We booked our holiday through Sunshine.co.uk, but as the available flights were late evening (22.30) eventually leading to arrival at the resort at about 06.00. We booked our flights direct through BA leaving at 14.15 and arrived at the hotel reception for 21.30. This enabled us to get a drink or two and a snack meal prior to a goods nightâs rest, ready to start our holiday fresh next morning. We also booked our transfer from hotel to resort through Sunshine, excellent value for £20 ea for return travel and in a lovely air conditioned mini bus all to ourselves. Taking into account the three elements to arrange the travel plan, we still saved circa £20 each on the original package price offered by Sunshine and with BA, had free drinks in flight and the availability to book-in and preselect our seats 24 hours in advance through the internet. This enabled spacious seating in the emergency exit positions on both flights, a further saving of £60 each. Travel both ways was excellent and was trouble free and on time with no delays. The hotel, the facilities, entertainment provided and bars & restaurants were excellent and fully justified the 4 star rating; the staff were extremely helpful and friendly even though they seemed to be on duty about 10-12 hours each day. Plentiful choices of food was on tap from 07.30 up to 21.30 with a facility at midnight to get a plate of fresh made soup. Apart from the main restaurant there were a further two bar / snack bars in the gardens and beach location offering a wide range of snacks up to 18.00. A large pool with childrenâs own pool attached plenty of sun loungers with mattresses and umbrellas and free towels for the pool were available to guests each day. The hotels own private beach attached adjacent to the gardens with beach bar and snack facilities was excellent, tidy and clean with a sandy beach ideal for children. The entertainment team were fun packed and had a great relationship with all the guests especially those with young families. There was plenty of choice to be involved in a busy schedule of events during the day and evening shows for kids from 21.00-21.45 and occasional adult entertainment after these as well. I would recommend the hotels Turkish bath, sauna and massage facility which was operated to a very high class standard. Reading previous reviews we found on travel sites we were concerned about our choice of hotel as we selected this one based on its beach front position in Kusadasi (although these comments were mainly from season 2005). However we thoroughly enjoyed our one weeks stay and can confirm our concerns were unfounded. I would not hesitate to recommend this hotel to anyone and also Sunshine, who arranged a low cost holiday which ticked all the boxes for an excellent relaxing holiday."

"We arrived at the Hotel at 22.45pm we were greeted by the reception who sent our cases to the hotel room and escorted us to the bar for a drink. The hotel staff were very helpful and friendly. The food was excellent all varieties of Turkish and English food, burgers, chips, pizza etc. There was a chef in the restaurant cooking omelettes and pancakes; food is available almost all day. There are four bars serving Efes beer, spirits and coffee, again the staff were very helpful and friendly. The room was excellent, towels and bedding was changed daily, there is a mini bar in the room stocked with beer, spirits and chocolate, even the cleaners were polite and helpful. The entertainment team and photographers were excellent trying to involve everyone in daily activities, water volley ball, shooting darts etc. After the evening entertainment on Saturdays the team arranged a mini bus to take you into Kusadasi to a Turkish night club, 11.30pm to 02.30am, a night not to miss The hotel is almost built on the beach you walk through the hotel gardens and you are on the beach, where there are sunbeds and parasols, there is also paragliding, banana boats, jet skis available. I would definitely recommend this hotel to everyone I will be going back this year."
