Not bad at all
"We have just returned from a week long stay. The hotel was quite comfortable and certainly very clean. The location is good and the layout of the hotel was pleasant. We found the staff to be extremely friendly and polite with the exception being one member of reception staff with a bit of attitude and a less than clear knowledge of the principles of customer care.
The selection of food was good and all meals were enjoyable.
The room we had was basic and plain and the bathroom was a bit tatty, however, it was clean and comfortable.
We thought the views of the mountains and the sea were beautiful and certainly raised the hotel above the ordinary.
Our negative reactions to the hotel included the fact that the hotel is geared towards families with children. This of course is a personal reaction and if you are a family holidaying there you will not think the same. The children were poorly behaved and quite plentiful which meant that there was no escape. There is no sanctuary for adults anywhere and parents allowed their children almost complete freedom to go and do whatever they wanted. After a week we were glad to leave this behind. This is not a hotel for couples really.
The entertainment was well-meaning but amateur-ish, sometimes appalling. Very much in the holiday camp style.
On our last day we had to check out of our rooms at noon and then waited for a departure at 11.50pm. There was no courtesy room or facilities made available to us. We had to change and wash in the toilets.
We travelled with Thomas Cook and found their service to be poor. The rep was pleasant but not very effective. The flight and its times were awful and we waited outside the hotel (as instructed) for our transfer coach at 11.50pm until 12.50am- without any information, advice or guidance as to why it had been delayed. No rep was present at any time.
All in all, a pleasant week at a fairly pleasant hotel. We wouldn't go again as we would seek a hotel that is more suitable for couples and not children."

"Well, where do I start with this hotel? Myself and my husband booked this holiday as a last minute deal in November 2006. We were limited to days on which we could fly, and every travel agent came up with this hotel. We looked in the brochure, thought it looked OK, and as it was branded a 4 star, we booked it.
We arrived at Antalya at 3am. When we went to look for the transfer coach, we were greeted with a transit van; the negative vibes had began. We transferred to the "hotel", and the driver was nothing more than a maniac.
We arrived at the hotel at 4am, and Beldibi looked like a shanti town, not an up and coming resort as Thomas Cook branded it. The hotel also looked bad on first impressions. An outdoor reception? We thought. How ludicrous. This did not bode well. We signed in, and a porter, dressed in a bomber jacket and tatty trousers took our case to our room. We were transported down a long corridor, with filthy shabby old and torn carpet. What had we come to? Things only got worse when we got to our room.
The porter demanded money from us, and was perturbed when we did not tip him. The room was small and basic, and the bathroom tiles were mouldy. The air conditioning/heating unit did not work. We looked out of our window, and our view was a tree trunk and a brick wall. Great.
As we were tired we reserved judgement for the rest of the hotel.
We went to lunch. The food was disgusting. Very little choice, and the restaurant was outside. We had torrential rain all week so an outside restaurant was far from adequate. The plates were cold, so as soon as food was placed on them it was cold. Nothing was labelled so you didn't know what you were eating. We lived on salad, and nothing else all week. We couldn't even eat out as we were in the middle of nowhere. On top of all this there were 30 or more cats in the eating area, jumping on the tables, and trying to scratch you while you ate, and pestering for food. Far from hygenic. A disgrace. The only bar was also outside, and so when we wanted a drink, we were drenched by the heavy rain. There was little choice of alcohol or soft drinks, and the alcohol was watered down. No cocktails, or entertainment all week either. On one night Gallatasery were playing football, and the so-called entertainers withdrew the communal TV and went away to watch football, leaving the residents with nothing!! No entertainment and no TV. The "entertainer" did nothing all week, even though this was part of the poor all inclusive!!
Outside, as mentioned Beldidi is a shanti town...there is literally nothing there. The road collapsed outside the hotel due to the storms and some people were killed.
We felt totally isolated, and ripped off by Thomas Cook who made us think we were going to a 4 star hotel. At best it was 2 star!!!
We complained to the Thomas Cook rep called Debbie, who had no interest. We handed her a written complaint. Up to December we had heard nothing, so decided to e-mail Thomas Cook, who reckon they are now investigating. It is now nearly February and still nothing.
All I can say is on pain of death, DO NOT GO TO THIS HOTEL.
I cried, and kept saying I wanted to go home. The best thing about Beldibi was the road out, and the flight home.
A truly awful hotel, what needs closing down."

pleasedo not go to this hotel. turkey is a fantastic place. this is rubbish.
"my wife, who is turkish and from antalya, and myself, went to the paloma beach in beldibi so that i could enjoy the surroundings of a four star international hotel, all inclusive, and also be near to her mother for visits. On arrival we were shown to our room, number 503. we walked along a corridor which had a filthy dirty stained carpet that was torn in many places. The room was plain and shabby, noyhing like the picture in the thomas cook brochure. The balcony was about 4ft square and overlooked a dirt area wher people from outside beldibi slept in their vehicles next to their stalls, selling vegitables each day. The toilet in the room was all cracked and the damage looked very old, there was also black mildew around the tiles.A great start, but we had arrived at the hotel approximatly 03.00hrs, so we decided to see what tommorrow would bring. WHAT A MISTAKE..... We went for breakfast and had a choice of scambled egg, boiled egg. two different slices of salami, a tomato, and three different types of cheese. the bread was stale and the salad can only be described as bits of green things in a dish. There was no presentation in any way shape or form and the food tasted so bad that not even my wife could eat it, and as i say, she is turkish.Due to security problems we did not take our video camera, how we wish we had. Consequently we skipped the breakfast. we then went for dinner. This was a funny looking stew and mashed potato, but the mashed potato ran off the spoon it was that thin. We decided to see the thomas cook rep. We have had many holidays with thomas cook, no problems infact we have booked another in november and may next year, again with thomas cook,(we booked them before we went to this one) but the rep was as much help as a chocolate fireguard. Not long after we had seen the rep, management approached me. they were telling me that they never have complaints about the hotel and was saying that it must be me. Then my wife turned around and spoke to them in turkish. Their faces were pictures. She informed them that if SHE could not eat the food how were other tourists from other countries expected to eat it. She also told them that the south of turkey relies on tourists for their econimy and that this particlar hotel was an embarrasment to the turkish tourist bord and that it was no more than a two star and was never ,never , never an international hotel, it only catered for the russians who were paying far far less for their holidays than those from other countries,as she had been informed. how TRUE this is we do not know but it would prove interesting to find out. there was no entertainment and my wife insisted that we be moved to another hotel. we paid another £395-00 ontop of the £1,276.96 we had already paid and moved to another hotel we had been to before. at least there we knew we would be able to eat and enjoy ourselves. as for the thomas cook rep, she was rubbish. this hotel IS NOT A FOUR STAR it is only a TWO. AND THE RESTERAUNT IS LIKE SOMETHIG OUT OF ROBINSON CRUSO. it should be taken out of the british holiday brochures. For those who have enjoyed this hotel then good luck but there are far far better hotels and more beautiful places than this,....and we should know. REMEMBER this review is from a turkish women and her husband, it is OUR view but it is honest."

"me and my husband came here in oct 2004 for our honeymoon and was impressed with everything!!! we always go 4* star plus never anything less and this by far the best hotel right on the beach, hotel staff fantastic and there english is very good. The service fom the minute you get up to going to bed you can not fault i am a travel agent for a top company and have sent many people here on my recommendation and never had any complaints yet. we went back in oct 2005 taking mother in law and our 09year old daughter who both had a fab time, our daughter was entertained all day with kids club and activity's all day round the pool which are great for adults also wanting to join in or just to watch for fun. evening entertainment great every night very enjoyable to watch and take part be careful on some of the games they want you to play can be very full on ha ha...

Great holiday at the paloma beach
"We have just spent 2 weeks at the Paloma beach Beldibi and thoroughly enjoyed it all.
There was a good selection of food at all meal times, though you have to realise you are in a foreign country and be prepared to eat their food.
The hotel staff and animation team were all extremely friendly and would come looking for people to join in during the daily games and activities but do not pester too much if you just want to relax. The evening entertainment was better than most hotels we have been to, with a good Turkish night and a cut down version of Grease on a couple of nights.
There is a disco next door which does play quite late but all you have to do is shut your balcony door and it doesn't keep you awake.
Just outside the hotel there is approximately 2 miles of shops and bars to wander around, and the shop keepers will take no for an answer, unlike some parts of Turkey.
The hotel in general is kept quite clean, though the room maids were not quite up to standard and sometimes wouldn't bother with too much cleaning if they thought they could get away with it.
The scenery was perfect with mountains at the front of the hotel and if you get up early you can see a beautiful sunrise.
All in all a very good 2 weeks and we booked the day we got back to go again in May next year."

Don't go unless you don't need sleep!!!!!
"We have just returned from a 2 week holiday at the Paloma Beach hotel in Beldibi. The brochure does not mention that there are nightclubs on two sides of the hotel and a hotel opposite with a disco!! Most nights the noise did not stop until 3-4am. Both hotel management and Thomas Cook did nothing to remedy the problem and our request to Thomas Cook to change hotels fell on deaf ears! In the brochure it states that the nearest nightlife is in Kemer about 15 kms away, this is not true. The noise was horrendous. The quality of food was good, but the variety was extremely lacking, we assumed that the catering was mainly for the Russian guests who were the in the majority. We did not class the hotel as 4* All inclusive but more like 3* Full Board with some extras. It was our 'holiday from hell' and if it wasn't for the lovely staff who are very friendly I think we would have paid to come straight back home! Views of the sea and mountains in Beldibi are beautiful. Although we know it will make little difference to them we have vowed NEVER to book with Thomas Cook again, their lack of any type of customer service left me aghast!!"

"Me and my partner stayed at the paloma beach hotel in may this year, it was definately the best holiday I've been on, by far!!!
The hotel exceeded our expectations, we would definately rate more than a 4*.
The hotel was clean, and tidy. All of the staff were extremely helpful and friendly and made you constantly feel relaxed and welcome.
This was the first time we have ever stayed All Inclusive, its definately worth it!
There was plenty of drink readily available, but even with a steady flow of alcohol the hotel was fairly quiet. There was a large selection of food, more than expected possibly not all for everyones taste but can definately find something for everyone.
The animation team were great, especially 'smiley' who always tried to involve everyone in the daily activities and get people mixing with different nationalities.
The only let down was the Thompsons rep, who was not available most of the time, so it was left upto yourselves to go exploring!"

paloma beach, beldibi
"unless you want to make use of the all inclusive package, or enjoy tacky package holidays , stay away from paloma beach. my girlfriend and i left after one night, and for the same money stayed half board in the lovely 5 star turkiz hotel.
everything we saw of the hotel was horrible in a tacky kind of way, the food was bad, and beldibi itself resembled a shanty town!!"

Hotel is very nice but som person ...
"We have been there 2 weeks the hotel is good nice area restaurant and Bar Team at very friendly but some from animation Team are really very venomous and nasty instead of working together for guest satisfaction they work against them we traveled a lot we visited many Clubs we have never seen team like this.
the representative of Thomas Cook Latifa and Hajar they never stopped telling us bad things about Fatima from animation Team and they asking us all the time and other customers to write bad things about here .
we didn't understand especially that Fatima is a very friendly and helpful Girl with everyone.
Mamado as well said all the time only bad things about Fatima and talking very bad bout his chef Moss we think itâs not bad when the person is black from outside but it is very very worse when the person is black inside.
all what we can say to Hajar , Latifa and Mamado we donât like your behaviors about Fatima and Moss this is not professional and you have to know that we make holiday to relax not to hear your stories of hatred stop hating the others without reason really shameful.

Best Holiday Ever !!!
"We have just returned and I have to say it was the best holiday ever.. the hotel, food & service were excellent but the main thing that made it for us was Stefania in the childrens club, she is fantastic and looked after our 4 year old little boy amazingly.. so much he cried on the plane home that he wanted to stay there. Every day she did different activities with them and made sure they were well looked after.. nothing was too much trouble.
We would return to the hotel tomorrow if we could..
thanks to Stefania, all the animation team and staff for giving us a wonderful holiday.

Mini disco is fun
"Our four years old daughter was a fan of Stephania and Gino at the kids club. She had no problem with her and there were a lot of children at the club every day.
I found another problem: The ratio of russians in this hotel is growing and everything seems to change a bit to russians way og life."
