"Lovely and well presented hotel. I wouldnât class it as 5* but 4*.
Very few English guests, mostly German and Russian.
Good and friendly staff, reception staff didnât speak a lot of English but this didnât cause a problem.
Good sized rooms with adequate facilities.
We stayed on an all-inclusive basis, food was ok but we chose to eat out in the evening as such a lovely choice of bars and restaurants in the marina.
Great location and Kemer is a nice and quiet resort, I would stay in this hotel again!"

"FANTASTIC, Great Hotel. Great Choice of Food, Great Pools, Great Location, Great Views from balcony, Great Staff, Great Entertainment, FANTASTIC CLEANING, Rooms cleaned & changed every day. Loved it so much going back for 2 weeks next year. Only bad thing to say rooms quite small once a sofa bed in with ours. Had Turkish bath & sauna (FREE), Great value for money, never eat out once, snack bar great if you peckish. Quite a few Russians & German guests, not a great deal of us English. Food was very varied, bar b q every night, as well as loads of different salads, as well as fresh pizza, also chicken & lamb casserole, veggies very well catered for. Same for lunch very varied. Beauty place downstairs great for various treatments, had a full body massage, GREAT. TEN OUT OF TEN. Best holiday we have ever been on."

"Firstly this is definitely not 5* More 3-4*,
Mid Nov 2004
It is set in a nice location with a backdrop of mountains, the beach is a little narrow and pebble and sections are excluded, other areas are reserved by Hotels and you may be asked to move on if you are not booked into that Hotel.
We arrived at 2 am and our room was not ready until 4:30 am why ???
Yes the rooms are OK but are in need of some TLC, though the staff were polite, even if they assume you were German all the time, as does the rest of Kemer. Yes most of the guests are German but thatâs not a problem as everyone was very pleasant.
If you like cats your OK 25 in the grounds some friendly some not. Fairly typical for Turkey, cats everywhere nuttering hasnât arrived in turkey yet.
The food is best described as basic and almost the same every night, and at best luke warm. The dinning area is just not big enough to sit people down, which is OK in summer when you can sit outside, but in late autumn / winter this is not a viable option.
Be aware that at this time of the year most places appear to be shut so donât expect a lively scene, but that might be why you go there at that time.
You do get benefits at this time of year like cheap car rental, though the price of fuel is very high. You really do need a car to see anything of turkey if based here, OK you could do the old bus coach trips, but trust me you are better off doing it yourself and meeting and seeing the real turkey.
Oh Turkish driving may be a bit erratic but not as bad as some European countries and the roads are getting better. (Avoid Antalya in rush hour the fumes are horrendous)
I.e. a must see is Tessmoses. stunning, and peaceful, though take your walking boots.
Would I go again to Kemer, Probably not, not for me Iâm afraid"

Location: Lovely, under developed not to...
"Location: Lovely, under developed not too many Hotels. The Marina Kemer has itâs own part of the beach with free sunbeds. Thereâs a lovely restaurant & cafe/bar literally 10meters from the sea were I spent the majority of my lunchtimes drinking cold beer & watching the boats chug in & out the bay.
Hotel: The rooms are very basic but the hotel itself is very nice, the hotel was spotlessly clean & the maid visited every single day with clean towels & sheets. One bad point is this hotel is NOT child friendly.. the balconies on each rooms & the windows around the hotel are far too low and I wouldnât feel comfortable letting my children run around un-supervised.
Food: The food was better than expected, the bulk of the food was the same as most All inclusive holidays where it tastes mass produced and a bit "samey" no matter what the dish. But they also had a lovely selection of salad, breads as well as fresh bbq & pizzas/pita breads cooked by the chefs right in front of you.
Staff: Lovely people, not all of them spoke English as most of the customers are Germans but they were always happy to help.
Facilities: The facilities were good, Turkish Baths & Massage are available at an extra price. Sauna & three pools (one indoor) were free to use.
I would defiantly visit Turkey again rather than go to Spain. Turkey is cheaper, the people are friendlier & the weather is good for most of the year."

Surprised to see such good reviews for t...
"Surprised to see such good reviews for this hotel already posted and sorry I canât agree.
The Hotel and facilities provided simply were not as appear in the hotels description. First and foremost this hotel is nowhere close to being 5*. Iâd be pushing it by our standards to call it 3*.
The views from the hotel are excellent and cannot be faulted. The staff were friendly although there seemed to be a shortage of them and very few spoke any English.
We were expecting a choice of 5 bars. We got one, which was effectively the reception/lounge bar. There was a limited choice of drinks available and seating consisted of about 10 stools round the bar with other seating also doubling up as reception/lounge seating. There was no entertainment in this area.
The food initially was very poor but it did improve slightly later in the week. We survived on the soup, which was very nice, and salad-lots and lots of salad! The main courses were effectively the same every night with there being a slight attempt every so often to thinly disguise food which had obviously been left over from the night or two before. It was never anything but luke warm and most people stayed away from it.
The food throughout the whole holiday was served in one Restaurant. No other eating areas were open save for the Patisserie, which served basic cakes and coffee between 4 and 5 each day. Once was enough in there.
There was no sign whatsoever of âwhite gloved waiter serviceâ or a âplush, red carpeted restaurant.â The eating area we were in had ripped and badly stained carpets and we noticed that the table cloths were only changed when they had become quite badly stained.
In the week we were there we found 10 other English people in the hotel. All the rest were German or Dutch. Four of the ten were a family of four who arrived to find no facilities for the children and precious little to do. Apart from swimming in the indoor pool, the only one which was open by the way, they were bored stiff. There was table tennis of course but with only two very badly worn bats and one ping pong ball, it wasnât quite what they expected.
The only other thing to entertain them with was pool. Of course, this wasnât free and was charged at 13,000,000 lira per hour. Youâd have thought that as theyâd been promised a childrenâs entertainer, who didnât actually exist, and a raft of childrenâs entertainment, that they may have waived the charge. No chance.
The rooms were adequate but had seen much better days. Our carpet had stains all over it, which seemed to be a theme throughout the parts of the hotel, which were actually open. The bathrooms were tired, very tired but functional in the main. Our shower packed up once but in fairness they fixed it quite quickly.
Room service was patchy. Lack of staff again?! We ran out of toilet rolls several times and although we asked for replacements, they didnât materialise. In the end, we resorted to taking them from the ladies toilets in the lobby.
The same could be said for the bottled water, which was supposed to be provided in the rooms every day. We got two throughout the week and asked every day at reception for the ones which hadnât been provided. This was like pulling teeth and was very frustrating. Often, they promised to send some up, but it rarely arrived. At one stage, we filled a bottle from the water cooler downstairs only to be watched by a member of staff who questioned what we were doing. When it came to the water, we were made to feel like thieves and liars. Interestingly, other members of the English guests had similar experiences however when a German guest asked for water at the bar, it seemed to be handed over without question. For some reason, we had to jump through hoops for the same thing.
This was unfortunately our first trip to Turkey and our first booking with Lastminute.com and was highly disappointing. We would try another area but wouldnât return to Kemer.
If the answer to the shortcomings of this holiday is because it is off season, then the description has to reflect whatâs available. Lastminute.com need to properly rate their hotels and make sure that theyâre properly described."

"It would be difficult to fault this hotel and it was marvellous value.
Before we went we saw some of the reviews and cannot believe that some thought that this was no better than a 2 star. The service was excellent throughout. in the dining room the staff were courteous, helpful and quick. The food which was mainly Turkish was tasty hot and excellent. How reviewers could say that it was bland is beyond our comprehension and such reviews do a disservice to a fine hotel.
The rooms whilst basic had everything that one would need (fridge, safe, TV and fresh bottled water every day). The rooms were cleaned well every day with fresh towels and sheets and the maids were friendly and anxious to please. The front desk was just as friendly and helpful. The pools were in great condition and the there was always sufficient loungers available. The hotel provides towels for the pool and a small deposit was refunded at the end of our stay.
Opposite the entrance to the hotel we found a tour operator Haytours that was cheaper than most and very friendly.
All in all we were very satisfied with a last minute decision and would go back to this hotel again. Its service and staff could not be bettered by other hotels anywhere in the world."
