"We arrived at the hotel early morning just got dumped of the coach and left nobody there to greet us or show us to our accommodation pitch black and loads of potholes to fall into eventually got someone after shouting for anybody to help as we are both disabled and have luggage to contend with got in the room and it was filthy the sofa bed was so dirty could write my name in the filth on it and they expected one of us to sleep on it we complained after breakfast and was told with a shrug of shoulders" that's it " I said we did not book a dog kennel to stay in for 10 days but a hotel room with clean furniture and bedding he said I will give you some cloths so you can clean it and that was that nothing was ever done about it so we complained to the rep (when we could finally get hold of her ) and she also shrugged her shoulders I think that is a requirement of being a rep" BURY YOUR HEAD IN THE SAND ""

Be more selective about who stays there!!!!
"We have just enjoyed another holiday at the Saray and met lots of guests who were also there last year.Although we were happy with the Saray last year we had a nice surprise all rooms have been refurbished and new sunbeds are abundent around the pool. Once again the staff worked very hard to make our stay memorable, on the other hand we still had a lot of grumpy guests who contiually moaned about anything and everything Do these people really want to go holiday and experiece other cultures or do they just want a good winge. Michael spoke to everyone from todlers to coffin dodgers worked very hard to please all, he is a charecter and makes a lot of people smile, If you dont like what he has to say tell him and I am sure he will avoid upsetting you.People should understand the language difference. leave your P.C. at home."

NICE APPARTMENTS BUT A FEW THINGS TO WATCH OUT FOR
"We as a family have just returned from the saray appartments after a 2 week stay , we normally go to icemeler but thought a change was due , on arrival at the saray 4.45am we were pleasantly suprised ,beautifull apparment clean modern lovely bathroom and comfy beds what more could you ask for. the next morning we met Michael he is the backbone of the place he is a true entertainer and works hard as the front man to help as much as he can Thanks Michael ,next, to the gate house, Winston (likes to slap young girls bottoms)if we had been in england he would still be eating through a straw ! so watch out for this wierdo ,then into the town centre what an eye opener i thought we had just turned up after a riot ,not very clean, smelly and the usual hassle off the shopkeepers, anyway back to the appartments ,we were spending around 125tl to 150tl a day at the bar with soft drinks ,food ,snacks and icecreams no worries until we were caught one day walking to our room with a bottle of contraband orange fanta and crisps (1.5 ltr orange at the bar aldi type 7tl ,3 ltr bottle of Tango from shop 3tl)no brainer ,we were told that we would be fined 10tl and this would be charged to our room .after a lot of shouting Michael sorted it out and told us there was no charge and we must buy from the bar ! whilst this was going on the holiday rep Sam Fletcher managed to ignore it and dissapeared ! anyway after speaking with other guests about air conditioning and safes some paid between £80 and £100 for air con and between £30 and £50 for the safe no set price if you look affluent you must get charged more , day 9 of hols off to the docs, got water infection so have 16 other people from saray asked rep if the pool is ok and she assured me it gets checked every MONTH !!!! when we were leaving the Sarey we were met with a mini bar bill of 35tl for 10 cans of pepsi these can be bought in the shops for .75tl robbing ba People they are ,ON THE WHOLE A GREAT PLACE TO STAY BUT A FEW THINGS TO WATCH OUT FOR 1, WIERDO ON GATE (Winston) 2, DONT GET CAUGHT BRINGING IN FOOD OR DRINKS 3, DO NOT USE YOUR MINI BAR 4, TAKE TABLETS BEFORE ENTERING POOL 5, DO NOT EXPECT ANY FORM OF HELP OFF THE THOMAS COOK REP 6, EXPECT TO BE ROBBED BY THE APPARTMENT MANAGEMENT"

"We have just come back from the Saray hotel in Turkey. It was excellent, we met nice people and great people. Fran and Maureen and H and June, plus if it was not for Mustufa and Michael it would not have been so great. Looking forward to going back. We wished we was still there."

" This hotel can only be described as, a filthy grotty place.with unpleasent rude and up them selves staff. the room was very dirty, shower was mouldy and only 18 by 24 inches in size ,with cold water only, the sheet never got changed all the time we were which was 11 days. we had to put the towels by the shower to stop the water from going in to the sleeping area. the outside balcony rail gave way. our outlook was to two stinking 50 gallon drums of stagnent water, a compost heap and aso called allotment which was sweet corn which stood nearly 10 feet high. the pool was murky with grease floating on the top. the sunbeds were filthy dirty ripped and broken. we would not go back to this hotel if you paid us and would not recomend this hotel to any one even if on a low budget, as staying here would ruin your time in turkey."

Good hotel great location
"We have just returned from a two week stay at this hotel. The hotel staff all work very hard to make your stay as comfortable as possible this leads to a great atmosphere amongst the guests. One or two may be unhappy but then again they would probably kick up a fuss wherever they would stay. The hotel is in a good location near the town and there are lots of good restaurants nearby although the food in the hotel is also very nice. Yes, you will get meals and drink a little cheaper if you go searching but if you travel you will know that hotel prices are generally more expensive. Yes there are notices about taking food into the hotel but we understand that most hotels in Turkey have this ruling but there is no security guard searching your bags. The rooms are ok,the pool and bar area is fine, some of the sunbeds are needing to be replaced but if people were not obsessed about leaving towels on them when they go out for the day others would be able to use them.If returning to this area we would go back to the Saray we had a great holiday and met some wonderful people. location very good cleaning very poor
"Stayed at the Saray for 2 weeks in July 2011. Staff not helpful at all. Cleaning of room means they empty your bin daily. Towels only get changed every 3 days not very good if you want to wash your hair. The location is very good enjoyed the holiday and would go back to the area shame about the hotel it could be really good!"

lovely hotel with a view!
"The Saray was really lovely. The rooms were cleaned out every day by the maids who were always friendly and welcoming. The staff were also lovely, and Michael likes to make himself known!! The Turkish night on the Wednesday was absolutely brilliant, I would really recommend attending, and it is reasonably priced. The breakfasts were good by Turkish standards but not to my taste so on the last day I found myself going to a local restaurant for breakfast instead. The hotel is in a perfect location for access to both Hisaronu and the dolmuses, the local buses, to get to Fethiye and Olu Deniz. The hotel also has a friendly atmostphere within all the guests so it is very easy to make friends there"

lovely hotel lovely people!!
"I stayed at the Saray Hotel in Hisaronu from 23.05.11 to 06.06.11 with my 26 year old daughter and 3 year old grandson. I can honestly say it was a lovely place to stay and I will definitely be going back. the reviews on here had me very sceptical but I went ahead because it was a bargain deal. I was very pleasantly surprised. Rooms are very clean. Food was good (if a little more expensive than outside). The sunday dinner I can honestly say was better than my own and my daughter agreed!! Just fab!! The only thing i think this place needs is some area for the little ones to play, perhaps toys and TV with dvds playing all day long! the pool was lovley and clean but the sun lounger pads in need of renewal for defo. I prefer 4 - 5 star hotels AI but on a budget you really can't beat this place. And its central to all the busy bars and restaurants. I've been going to Olu Denis with my family on and off for 16 years and this hotel is definitely on my list for next time. "

Fab Fab Time at the Saray Hotel
"I have just returned from a two week stay at the Saray and I cannot begin to tell you what a fabulous time I had there. It was by far the best holiday I have ever been on. I stayed there with two of my close friends who stayed there for one week last year. So it just goes to show that they really enjoyed there stay there at the Saray or they would not have returned this year for two weeks. We found all the staff to be helpful and friendly especially Michael who was funny and entertaining all the time. I cannot wait to return there next year for two weeks and I would recommend the Saray to anyone. "
