"this hotel contains annnny thing you have in your mind. I just can say we had a dreamy vacation there.unforgettabl! rooms, pool, disco, animation etc,, was jus great, staff were also good but not all of them, some of them may have behaved you not well enough,,but that wAS not a big deal,,,the only problem at that hotel was with the room carts. when you wanted to entern your room they did'nt work so you had to walk a lot to have it repaired"

"Huge place and defo book the hotel bit,if you can.we went with onusair, and its hit and miss.Safety demo took all of 30 seconds, and in turkish, with a plane load of brits!!Transfer was ok,about 1 hour, and first impression of complex is that its huge.Nice room on the sixth floor, with stunning views over the bay.Room ok,could have done with a bit of sealer around the bath, but not bad.TV ok,but no sky news,Cnn and loads of turkish, german, russian, french and no radio.Masses of food, but none of it covered,so beware of the numerous flies on the meats.YUK.Only one toaster in the morning rush and that was on a go slow.We just stuck with bread and jam as scrambled egg looked, well,a bit iffy.If you wanted a cuppa after your evening meal, milk was like the holy grail, couldnt find it.No chance so had coffee instead, powered milk as well.Good fitness rooms, spa, and sauna.Pools ok,but the guys that give you your towels, were like the milk, hard to find. The weather for late september was lovely, and it was a nice break, but not worth 5stars.3.5stars at best."

"This hotel provided absolute luxury at a very reasonable cost. Booked last minute and wasn't expecting anything near this good.
Rooms were very clean and spacious and the location was lovely - on a hill with fantastic sea views. Don't let the hills put you off as the hotel have a great facility of golf buggyâs which will take you to the door.
The restaurant offered a really good variety of hot and tasty food and the waiting staff were very pleasant and helpful.
The bars offered a good variety of drinks which can be a rarity on all inclusive. Helpful friendly staff in all of the bars - of which there are plenty. Be warned though the disco is not like your local nightclub - more of a beach hut playing Turkish music but well worth a visit.
I would definitely recommend booking into the a la carte restaurants particularly the seafood and Italian. Also make sure you get a Turkish bath.
Finally if you get a chance go on one the gulet cruises - well worth the money and a fantastic day out.
I would recommend this hotel to anyone and if you are planning on going have a fantastic holiday.

"I'm not sure the 2 star rating applies to this hotel - are you sure you have the right accommodation because this was anything but 2 star.
Such a holiday I will never have again. The food was great, the service was great, and the staff were great.
This is luxury of the highest level on a medium budget. We arrived at 4am and were greeted with smiles and sandwiches. Staff never harassed you but were always around when required.
Granted the food was not always labelled so you did have to play Russian roulette at times, but food was always plentiful, hot and edible and the sweet buffet was out of this world!! 3 a la carte restaurants included in the price and all 3 were exceptional.
The rooms were clean; we stayed in the hotel and had a sea view room, more like a suite which was cleaned daily.
Entertainment left a little to be desired but I have yet to find a hotel with decent entertainment and I certainly would not mark the hotel down for that.
Only problem we had was a Belgium conference was present at the hotel the same time as us and we found them to be very rude to staff and guests alike, hardly the hotels fault.
However on the last night of the conference a party was held for the whole conference beside the pool, this excluded guests who were not part of the conference, so therefore left you with no where else to go near the bar except in the bar area - not ideal on hot nights.
I would re visit this hotel every year, if only I could talk my hubby in to it - doesn't like visiting the same place more than once!
P.S. the complex store was exceptionally expensive; make sure you pack plenty of sun cream and essentials."

"we arrived in the yasmin and were greeted with a friendly smile and were then showed to our rooms straight away and the views from our rooms were amazing.
There was loads to do for the children whether that was water sports, water aerobics, water slides, the games room and a performance nearly every night.
The food was very varied something for everyone and there are also three different resturants disatched to the main resturant you had to book but well worth the wait. especially the turkish resturant.
We rarely left the hotel but there was no need to because it was a relaxing holiday and everything you needed was inside this wonderful hotel.
Overall a really good holiday x"

Lovely relaxing holiday
"We have just returned from a lovely week at the hotel, we found food, service and cleanliness excellent. We knew the club rooms were built on a slope but because the hotel was only partially full we didnt have far to walk. Had read reviews and knew that the entertainment was limited but we came for a rest so were not bothered by that. If you want a relaxing holiday then I would thoroughly recommend, if you like to go sightseeing then it is not so easy, we took the shuttle bus which runs 3 times a day to Bodrum to do shopping and sightseeing on one day and found that very reliable. I would say to take euros and not turkish lire for shopping and tips but other than that you will need no money.
We went with Cosmos Elite and would definitely use them again."

Its never a five star hotel
"We stayed at the Yasmin Hotel in May 2006. It was the first time my elderly father had been abroad. He has walking diffculties so the steep hills and slopes were a problem. We wanted this to be an enjoyable experience for my father. However, the rooms were filthy, there were open manhole covers, my little girl cut her foot on glass in the sea on the private beach and her finger on a broken tile in the swimming pool. The kids club is defintitely a no go area. There were no forms to fill in and on the last day my little girl handed me unlit fireworks in the playground! the Health and Safety is diabolical. The food was cold and on one evening my little girl was servrd a glass of milk that hed gone off. The only good side was that the Thalasso centre was brilliant although expensive, but you certainly need a few stress relieving massages after spending two weeks at this hotel. IT IS NOT SAFE"

Deluxe Is It Not !
"Arrived at the 'resort' with anticipation having read some negative reports about it and was pleased initially by it's friendly welcome and out look - very modern and a good looking 'resort'
But, that's all it is - a good looking hotel on the coast. After a few days and a couple of incidents you get to see the hotel for what it actually is and offers - poor service, dirty and un-safe swimming pools, rude guests (Baltic states and Russians) ratifies previous poor comments as being true and confirms it as a 3 / 4 star hotel and not a "5 Star Deluxe Ultra Resort" as advertised.
Why do I think this hotel fell short of our expectations ?
Kids Club - Not safe as kids were not checked in or out and were left free to come and go as they pleased. Our Rep. advised us not to put our children in there !! Needless to say it was always empty.
A La Carte Restuarants - Not A La Carte by a long way. The service we received in the supposed italian (well they did have margharita pizza on the menu) was the worst I have experienced anywhere before.
Drinks - Try getting served at the lobby bar with 1) the correct drink and 2) a smile - mind you just getting served would be a miracle on some days.
Guests - We experienced a theft from another guest and when it was reported, even though we found out who it was, it was played down and we were never advised as to what action had been taken. If you've already booked to go to this hotel please do not leave anything around the pool or beach unattended, it will be taken !
Summary - Do not go to this hotel if you are looking for 5 star service and ammenities, you will not find them here. Would I go back ? NO Would I recommend this hotel to anyone ? NO."

"We arrived early hours of the morning and after being efficiently greeted and registered at reception, we were taken to our room via a golf club mini-car (100 steps via stairs) which we thought was hilarious and entertaining especially sitting on the back!
Our room was lovely, very modern and minimalist (just the way we like it).
In the next few hours, we awoke to sunshine and sparkling pools.
We had a look around the complex which seemed busy and therefore no sunbeds available ï. Checked out the mini club which seemed to have plenty of activities but my son felt a little uncomfortable being left as we found the hotel had a lot of foreign people there i.e. speaking lots of different languages, Turkish, Belgium, and Russian therefore not a lot of English children. We visited Egypt in May where there was a Thomas Cook Kids World â he loved that.
We familiarised ourselves with the various restaurants, Italian, Turkish & Fish which were very tasty, however we didnât manage to visit to fish restaurant.
After a further walk we come across the Pavilion where there were beach huts, with comfortable sofas and sun loungers right on the sea with step ladders into the water! Utterly beautiful and very peaceful, especially away from the busyness of the main pools. We then found out that they offer a full butler service (inc. bathrobes) any drinks you require, lunch as you sunbathe, along with fruit, nuts and ice-cream served in the afternoon. You could hire these huts from 10am â 7pm which we did for 3 of our 7 days. There was a charge for this of 50 euros per day â but we thought well worth it!
There is also a Thalasso beauty spa within the hotel where I had a sea water Jacuzzi followed by a back massage. Very invigorating.
We hired the kayak/canoes on a couple of occasions which was quite refreshing when it got too warm.
The weather was fab! 41 degrees.
We found the food in the main restaurant to be extensive, however I feel they were catering for the Europeans. But we also found something, although I donât think the food heaters in the restaurant were very good. Food not piping hot.
Drinks were great and plenty to choose from, nice wine, cocktails, a few branded spirits and I especially liked the abundance of bottled water!
All in all a very relaxing holiday."

hated it, it was awful
"We went to Yasmin Bodrum on 29/07/2006 to 13/08/2006 this was the worserts holiday ever we went as a group of 13 people and none of us liked the hotel, we spoke to other tourists in the hotel no one was happy with the hotel. The food was awfull no animation team to entertain you they only entertain them selfs, the rooms are so far away that you had to wait for a mini go cart to take you up to your rooms which wastes your 20 minute every time you want to go to your room. They will not clean your rooms so you will have to do it your self although you ask them to change your sheets and clean your room or bring clean towels to your rooms they will not do it. All the workers were so rude and unpolite we could not beleive our selfs, we did complaine to the hotel manager but nothing was done no improvements at all. We had to eat the same food for 14 days, also this hotel is rated as 4 star or plus 4 star if it was a 4+ why wasnt there a life guard around the pool area not even one. Please take my advise and dont waste your money and time by going to Yasmin Bodrum Resorts we as a group wasted over £12.000 If you are willing to sleep in dirty beds eat smelly and cold food and serve your own food and drinks go ahead be my guest, but if you take my advise Yasmin Boodrum would be the last place on earth to go for an holiday. DO NOT GO AND WASTE YOUR MONEY&TIME."

Best Holiday Ever
"Best Holiday Ever !!!
i went to the Yasmin Resort with my parents and younger sister (10) and arrived home 1 week ago :( we had the best holiday ever with constant service from very friendly staff who just couldn't do enough for you.
The food was amazing and i was suprised how well it was to say that they had to cater for so many people.
great facilities on site, although the entertainment wasnt much good. the kids club was FAB and was open to kids up to the age of 16. they never once presurised you to joining (unlike many other hotels in spain) and you could come and go when you pleased. they even took you horse riding and banana boating!
to make up for the poor entertainment there is the Cacao Beach Club that opens at 11: 00pm and is a great place to party for young and old alike.
accomodation is good. i was in the bungalows and they were always clean and nice. hotel bedrooms were nicer than the bungalows but for the amount of time you spend in your room does it really matter!
im already looking to book again for next year as it is well worth the money you pay!!!"

"well not too much to say as the last two people have about said it all, stayed 17th-31st july.
Great hotel, food was great, and hot, only went to the italion a la carte restaurant and it was better than we expected.Had a totally different feel to eating out but still being at the hotel, with lovely views.
Stayed in the main hotel, which i think from reading some other reviews is probably slightly better thanbeing in the bungalows.Rooms all carpeted and kept spotlessly clean, and loads of HOT water...
Waiter drink service if you sunbathed around the relaxing pool, but very hard to get the sunbeds there after 7.30am.
very international hotel, but not enough to bother you, more English arrived the second week, only down fall we found was our kids never made any friends,we found they were either teenagers or under 5.Not much for 5 - 14 year old to do apart from waterslides. My kids got chucked out of the games room(found out it was for 14 year +.Our kids are 8 and 11.
Hotel is quite isolated ,not that it was a problem as hotel trips booked through the rep were really cheap.Irecommend the millionares cruise, very good and well worth the money, trip was all day and it was about £10.Fantastic!!!
Also if you go down on the far end of the beach where the watersports are you can book with them a waterboat taxi to turgetreis market on a saturday morning for about 8 euros for adults,it gives you 3 hours there then they will pick you up promptly to return.(the ride is worth it on its own) the market is quite an education,so much we returned the second week as we couldnt take it all in at once.Very CHEAP bargains.
All in all fab hotel, great service, some rude (not the English!!!) guests, food great, entertainment average, pools super......and yes i would go back!!!!!."
